Error when opening Photoshop CS4

I own a new dell laptop with Window 7 OS. About 1 month after I installed Adobe CS4, I started getting an error everytime I opened up Photoshop: "Photoshop has encountered a problems with the display driver, and has temporarily disbled GPU enhancements. Check the video card manufacturer's website for the latest software."
I contacted Dell to see why I was getting that error. The technical support staff at Dell was unable to figure it out and said I needed to contact you. Do you know why I would get this error 1 month after I installed it?

Many laptops do not have very good video adaptors and yours may not meet the demands of CS4 in terms of OpenGL performance.
This could cause the error message. Try updating the video drivers and if that doesn't help, disable OpenGL in Edit > Preferences > Performance.

Recieve error when opening photoshop

I am recieiving an error when I open photoshop cs5.1 [Adobe PS error]: Parameter is missing [shell:161].
Any idea what this could mean? I originally had photoshop installed as a trial and just entered in the purchased license. I did not have this problem during the trail period.

Sounds like a port error either with the scripting engine or licensing. Maybe it never showed up because there was no licensing active. Turn off security tools, configure them and your firewall properly, run as admin to test...

XML Parsing Error when opening Dreamweaver CS4

Hi guys, I downloaded a trial version of Dreamweaver CS4
which was downloaded from the adobe website and once i try
installing it it comes up with 'please delete current menus.xml
file and then rename menus.bak file to menus.xml'. Once I tried
that the new renamed xml file has the same problem as the old one.
Now, When i opened up the file in Firefox it came up with an XML
Parsing error. The exact error is as below:

I am running windows XP SP3. Can anyone offer an
insight/possible solution? I've already tried the following methods
which have been suggested by other forums:
CS4 clean script on Adobe website
Microsoft installer clean up
uninstall and reinstall all CS4/adobe products
deleting Cache.db
deleting Macromedia folder
deleting faulty line in menus.xml file
Is there anything else I can do? Thanks guys!

1) Close Dreamweaver
2) Navigate to the Design.xml file and rename it.
3) Launch Dreamweaver and it will recreate the Design.xml file
The AppData folder is hidden by default on Windows, so you need to enable the option to view hidden files and folders in order to locate it, as follows:
In Vista/Windows 7, select Start > Computer > Organize > Folder and Search Options > View. In Advanced settings, choose Show hidden files and folders.
In Windows XP, select Start > My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > View. In Advanced settings, choose Show hidden files and folders.
Once you turn on this option, hidden folders are displayed as dimmed icons to remind you to treat them with care.

When opening up CS4 I receive Error Code 150:30, what is this??

If you upgrade your OS (most likely OSX) or recover Photoshop from backup, this breaks licensing.
The simplest advice is to reinstall CS4 from your discs.
If this is a problem, please get back to me.

For the last month, I've been getting an error message when opening Photoshop CC that says:
"Could not load actions because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered"

Download the Adobe Licensing Repair Tool.
Run the License Service Update.
Mac OS X 10.7 and above:
a. Double-click the LicenseRecovery111.dmg It will extract the folder. Open the folder.
b. Double-click your Hard Drive.
c. Double-click Applications.
d. Double-click Utilities.
e. Double-click Terminal.
f. Type sudo python
Note: There is a space following “python”. Do not press Return.
g. Drag LicenseRecover.py from the LicenseRecovery111 folder onto the Terminal Window and press Return.
It should look like this:
h. Enter your administrator user name and password when prompted and click OK.
(Note: the cursor will not move and you will not see stars or dots, just enter your password anyway.
i. Let the script run, it will tell you when it is finished. Quit terminal and restart Photoshop

Can't find filecache to stop ICERegions.htm errors on opening dw cs4

I have recently started getting this error on opening DW cs4.
"The following translators were not loaded due to errors ICERegions.htm has configuration that is invalid"
I also get javascript errors when I try to save (although save us seems to work ok) and I can't cut and paste.
I searhced and found this http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_19105#dat which says (point4) - Delete the WinFileCache-7A9586CB.dat, MacFileCache-BFE7CE2E.dat, or FileCache.dat and then talks about how the file name might be slghtly different.after the "Filecache" bit.
I have searched my hard drive for "filecahce" and there was no such file seems to be there.
I am using win xp pro and cs4

WHoops - feeling a bit stupid now...
searhced in the adobe folder, but its in user/applications....
The problem appears to be sorted - so thank you me, and anyone else who thought about ansering this post!

I just installed photoshop elements 11 on my Mac and am receiving an error when opening the organizer. It is stating that online services could not be initialized and that I need to reinstall. I tried that and it is still coming up. What do I do?

Getting 500 Internal Server Error when opening GC page

There was no change in configuration and all of a sudden, I can not connect to GC. I did notice that OC4J for OC4J_EM is down and I can't get it to go "Alive". Can someone run opmnctl status and print the output for me?
I'm on Windows 2003/GC 10.1.0.4. Anyone has seen this problem?

We update the BW landscape for version 7.4 suppport package 4 (whitout HANA).
We use a external system connection to extract data from a SQLServer database (Microsoft Connector 1.1 for SAP/BW)
In the previous version (BW 7.0.1 SP 10) run correctly, but now is in error.
Below the BW error log:
Error: COMMUNICATION_FAILURE with function RSB_API_OHS_3RDPARTY_NOTIFY and target system SQLIS.
Error when opening an RFC connection (CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPOCMINIT' : cmRc=2 thRc=679 Transaction program not regist).

We were able to resolve the issue. SAP RDS is assisting us with our upgrade and one of their consultants gave us this fix/workaround.
Edit and add an entry into P:\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\data\reginfo.dat on your BW host server.
Below is the entry I added.
P TP=<NAME OF PROGRAM ID> HOST=<remote hostname where you creating the RFC to> CANCEL=<remote hostname> ACCESS=*
P TP=CTSAPNPSCI_PORTAL_FPS HOST=ctsapnpsci CANCEL=ctsapnpsci ACCESS=*
Then in BW system goto smgw > goto > Expert Funtions > External Security > ReRead ACL (N) & Globally
