FM GUI_UPLOAD gives PC036 "Error when opening the download file".

Dear all
I'm having a problem with a particular PC.
A program which calls FM GUI_UPLOAD gives the error PC036 "Error when opening the download file".
The file we are trying to upload is a text file, with tab delimiter.
If the same user executes the same program from another PCs, it works fine.
If another user executes the program in the "problematic" PC, it gives the error.
So, the problem is PC-related.
I checked SAP GUI Codepage, and was the same as other PCs.
I cheched regional configuration, and was also the same as other PCs.
The operating system is Windows XP, and the SAP GUI version is 7.10, File version 7100.2.7.3077, Build 967944 , Patch level 7.
SAP version is ECC6.
I searched across forums, SAP note, and the web, but I couldn't find anything.
I would be grateful if someone could give me ideas.

Hello. The user accounts are have same privilegies (like both are "Power users")? Also the file system are the same in both PC NTFS or FAT32 (today i'm find FAT32 in enterprise ) If NTFS may be some Domain politics are not allow to save file correctly, or space are not enough....Try check this first...Regards.

ITunes 11.1.2 error when opening iTunes Store on windows 8.1 64b

After updating iTunes to version 11.1.2 is giving error when accessing the iTunes Store and the program and ended.

Same issue. Win 8.1 64-bit. iTunes 11.1.2.31 Everything else seems to work fine, but when attempting to open the iTunes Store, error message "iTunes has stopped working". It happens whether or not I'm signed in to my AppleID account. My computer is 'authorized'.

After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.

I have been using SAP IDES ECC 6.2 for a while and now all of a sudden encountered a problem CANNOT OPEN THE FILE C:\WINDOWS\SAPMMC.MSC.
I am a technical consultant and i know nothing about basis and sap installations.

Hi,
Looks like your mmc dll is corrupted, with your install and uninstall of software.
Two Options:
1. Upgrade the Kernel with latest Patch level, which comes with new SAPMMC.dll file
OR
2. Just download the SAPMMC*.sar file from service market place and extract in exe directory, since it is windows re-booting the server doesn't hurt.

Getting error when copy the SWRB Transaction.

Hi experts,
This is very urgent requirement.
There is a one transaction in CRM 5.0 that is SWRB(Web Request w/o Item) in service process. This transaction doesn't have any item details,but when I copy that transaction it is showing item details also.
I don't know how this is possible. I should get the copyed transaction also without item level details.
Please clarify if any one knows.
Actually I am using this is SWRB transaction for creating service request.
If any body knows any transaction in crm without item details please let me know.

Hi Koti,
When you create new transaction type by copying the transaction type "SWRB", the new transaction type will have the following transaction categories under "Assignment of Business Transaction Categories" in Customization of Transaction Type.
1.Sales
2.Service Process
3.Business Activity
Since "Sales" is the transaction category used in any business transaction to sell any kind of items. This is the reason why you are getting item details in your newly created transaction type.
So Goto the customization of new transaction type that you have created and remove "Sales" transaction category under "Assignment of Business Transaction Categories", then try to create business transaction with that transaction type, you will not get any item details.

we are sending the purchase orders from SAP to Third party system as file using IDOC to File scenario.
In XI side successfully gone through in MDT also i didnt see any errors.
But when we open the file in third party system its giving errors.
Can anybody face this problem before please tell what cause the problem.
the file is PurchaseOrder_20071730-121942-758.txt
This is the time stamp in the file what time must be in MDT for this message because i didnt see any 12-19-42 time in MDT is there any time difference in the file and MDT if it is what time must i see it in MDT for identifying the message.

You can see the filename in MDT.
In your reciever file adapter you will see theres a link below message id. click on that.
new window will open . Click on the page down button you will see something like this..

Hi,
You can use the below given solution to avoid this problem:
- After log-in to the Web Application Designer, choose the option "New" instead of "Open" option.
- After the above step, choose the "Open" option to open the required web template

I get the same error also, even when I create a new project. I found I can edit the files manually and use that as a work around, but it is incredible time consuming.

Cause: An ORACLE server session is in an unrecoverable state.

We are able to successfully send the PDF attachment to external email id from SAP SCRIPT:
but when we are opening the PDF attachment we are getting the following error:
"Adobe Reader could not open because it is not either a supported file type or the file has been damaged ..etc.."
Is any logic need to write for the above or any parameters are missing .

MDG-F: Error when opening the Change Request

Hi MDG Experts
In MDG-Finance, when i'm opening the Change Request (CR Type: 0G_S002), to "finalize processing", i get this error message: "Object ID 060822EA65231EE3A7DB2A05A0AB8E61 is not valid". As a result the single processing option does not pull the master record that was added in the Create Change Request option for submitting for approval.
I'm not sure what this error is and how to resolve it.

Hi Kiran
Thanks for your prompt response. The entity search option that you mentions works successfully.
However, in case of manual replication, i'm still facing a challenge.
After executing the Manual replication option, the data isn't getting replicated to back-end ECC. Infact, in DRFLOG, the log is all green for "Process Outbound implementation GL Master Idoc (1012)".
Am i missing something here ?
