Error when pasting 1K of text into a text area of tabular form
This appears to be a bug to me, put please offer suggestions if you have them....
Using apex with XE, I have created a table with two varchar2(4000) columns in them. The user will paste large blocks of text into one or both of them (e.g paste text copied from e-mail).
I created a tabular form and set the two fileds to display as "text area". Insert and/or update works fine unless I paste more than about 1 to 1.5 kbytes of text into one of these fileds, in which case I get a page not found error with the following URL:
http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/wwv_flow.accept
After the error page displays, I can hit the back button and then remove just enough text to get it to under the 1 to 1.5 kbytes and then either insert or update works fine.
One more bit of info. If I create a single row form then it works fine, it is only the multi-row tabular form that seems to have this issue.
I don't think the character set is the problem. I used a string of numbers 0123456789 and just copied and pasted it repeatedly to build up the text. The database character set is WE8MSWIN1252.
Regarding the apache log. I have to admit that I don't even know if I'm running apache. I am using a newly installed Oracle XE on a laptop in order to get some experience with application express. This app is the first one I've done. If someone will direct me to the log then I'll be glad to check it and post the relevent contents.
I signed up for an apex workspace and intend to see if I can recreate the error from there so I can see if the problem is just in the free version of apex that comes with the Oracle Express Edition for windows database.

I have a dialog box and in it a Text Area. When I copy from another page a large amount of data and try to paste it in the text area - it doesn't work.
I can't paste in it more data but I can type in it manually.
Is there a limit to the size of string we can paste in a text area ??

mayaThere is no Limit to the string size. Since Swing follows MVC architecture, the data to be pasted is stored in model and the view shows the text to the user. If the text size is large, the screen appears to freeze for the some time while the data is stored in model and painted on the screen.

Premiere Elements 11 trial version for macMac computer photos uploaded to the timeline just finetrying to make a new title, streaming or in a framedouble clicked on the text in the box and nothing shows up when I type on my keyboard. I can delete the words that are there but not type in new ones. I selected the type and size, etc.

Joanne Murray J2 What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what operating system (including 32 or 64 bit) is your Premiere Elements installed? Forgive the questions if you have been there and done that, but I do not want to take anything for granted that might hinder a speedy resolution to your issue. Are you opening an already created title that is sitting on the Timeline in order to edit it in the Titler or are you trying to create a new Title (Default Text or other)? Do you know how to work with the Selection Tool and Type Tool in the Titler? Once I know what version of Premiere Elements that you are using, I will give you specific how to details. Thanks. ATR

Runtime Error when Posting Invoice with text added (MIRO)
Hi Gurus,
We are getting a shortdump (runtime error) when we post certain invoices in MIRO. This happens when we input some text in the text field or add some text to the NOTE tab.
We are having exception ERROR_DP raised in the program c_textedit_control.
If the text field is blank and nothing is writing in the NOTE tab, the invoice gets posted with no problem.
Has anyone come accross this issue before and how did you solve it please.

Error when combining Power Point docs into PDF in Acrobat 11
Hi, Am running Acrobat 11 and am getting an error when attempting to combine files. Trying to combine multiple power point 2007 files into a single PDF using Acrobat 11. Am getting an error "unable to find Adobe PDF resource files. Do you want to run the installer in repair mode". If choose yes or no I get the yellow error icon beside the PP files and eventually have to cancel the job.

Diagnosis
The system could not calculate a price for the internal activity with activity type 20000 of cost
center 110TUP002 because none of the valuation strategies in valuation variant 006 was successful.
System Response
If the system issues a warning message or an information message, the costing item will be
used in costing with a value of zero.
If the system issues an error message, it sets the status "KF" (costed with errors).
If the system issues a termination message, the cost estimate cannot be processed.
Procedure
1. Check the master data for activity type 20000 of cost center 110TUP002.
2. If you have authorization for Customizing, check the valuation strategy for internal activities
in valuation variant 006.

For the orders for which you get the error, note the dates, then check in KSBT, whether there is price maintained for that period.
Eg: If the order has a start - 2nd Aug, 2010 & end 10th Aug, 2010, then check if price exists for period - 08, year - 2010

If the values are maintained, then check the costing variants specified for the order type in OPL8 for plant - order type combination in cost accounting tab. Then in OPL1, check the details specified for the variants. If you're not sure on this, take help from your FI-Co colleague. -
Msg 2114 error when i try to text this one person with my iPhone 4S???
I seem to have an issue when i try to text this one person.....
They do NOT recieve my texts.....but i can recieve theirs.
I get a message after i send them a text from 923-0 that says i used the invalid number of digits.....MSG 2114
Tried deleting the contact , resending just using the number hand typed in...and still does not work!
HELP!!!Finally Worked! Remove all instances of the contact name and number used in previous messages, phone calls, recents, etc. Shut down sms, mms, imessage, etc in settings. Restart phone. Go back to settings and restart sms, mms, imessage. Send a text without creating the contact first, just enter the 10 digit cell number and send text. Worked for my iphone 4s texting to 1 person's android I couldn't send before. That 1 person was a previous contact that had only 7 digits entered for the phone number. Now I added that contact back to the list and sending text still works. Contact phone number now shows up as +1 (xxx) xxx-xxxx . Thanks wjosten.

Error when building a report from 2 different subject areas
Hello Experts,
I am using obiee 11.1.1.5.
I have 5 dimension D1,D2,D3,D4,D5 connected to fact1 and 4 dimension connected to fact2 such as D1,D2,D6,D7.
where D1,D2 is common to both the facts.
Fact1 Is in subject area 1 and Fact2 is in subject area2.
I need to create a report by adding columns of subject area 1 and 2 with columns from all the dimensions D1,D2....D7.
As of now i am getting error stating "No fact table exists at the requested level of detail " when i try to add columns from 2 different subject areas.
Can anyone help me in solving the above problem.
Is there any prerequisite to be taken care when building a report from 2 different subject areas.

Downloaded ringtone won't save to my phone?
