Error when pulling data to an infocube

Hello gurus,
Today i got this error in a daily task of pulling daily data to an infocube:
"Data records were selected in the PSA
Diagnosis
Data records were marked as incorrect in the PSA.
System Response
If error messages exist for the data records, the corresponding data packets were not updated using the PSA.
Procedure
Go into the PSA maintenance for the request and read the logged messages.
You find the relevant messages for each record in the PSA table by double-clicking on the status of the record.
Where necessary, edit the incorrect records or remove the error in another way.
Post the incorrect data packets manually.
Note that you are only permitted to edit and manually update the request if it is not contained in the request list in the InfoCube (see InfoCube administration). Where necessary, first delete it from the InfoCube."
I've looked in the PSA the records that went wrong, but there were a lot. So manually it would take ages to fix all of them.
The error i received in these records was
"Record 117 :Contents 0,00 from field ZZFACTURACAO cannot be converted in type CURR ->l"
"Record 117 :Contents 0,00 from field ZZFACTANOCON cannot be converted in type CURR ->l"
"Error in an arithmetic operation in record 117"
for each one of the records with errors.
First i've just updated the delta, with no succes. And the two requests stayed ein the PSA and Infocube. It didn't work.
I've deleted the requests from the infocube, then deleted the requests from the PSA. I've retriggered the infopackage.
Now, the daily job is still running, but the request pending in the PSA is the one i've done before. Should i wait, or i have done something wrong?

Yes, it is "Char" type.
I checked the error registries, and these two fields are filled with decimal numbers.
But, the job runs for about 4 months, and sometimes i had to do a "Delta update" when some problem occured, this time that didn't work and i got this error.

System says (short dump):

Error when attempting to import object "MC04P_0MAT_TAB".
The current ABAP program "SAPLMCEX" had to be terminated because one of the statements could not be executed. This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program. When attempting to import data, it was discovered that the data type of the stored data was not the same as that specified in the program.
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_IMPORT_MISMATCH_ERROR', was neither caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure "MCEX_BW_LO_API" "(FUNCTION)".
Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
to occur, the running program was terminated.
The reason for the exception is: When importing the object "MC04P_0MAT_TAB", the component no. 5 in the dataset has a different type from the corresponding component of the target object in the program "SAPLMCEX". The data type is "D" in the dataset, but "C" in the program.

Check this note: 328181
So you need to delete entries in SM13/LBWQ for application and also detup table content.
And then refill teh set up table.
If you are in production clear the entries by running collective run no of times for this application 04.

If you are actually creating a BDC to load data pls be more specific.
Data format incorrect. Tab delimited/ etc
Dates in wrong formats
Currency incorrect formats
Missing screens
Wrong transaction code
File not found,
Missing Mandatory fields,
Screen resoultion.
You should always use refresh for your Bdcdata table.
Loop at internal table.
refresh Bdcdata.

IR webclient: error when uncompressing data retrieved: *Data Error*!

A small (?) number of IR webclient 931 installations we notice the next error when processing: " error when uncompressing data retrieved: *Data Error*! " It does not seem to be user or permission/provision related.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve it. Reinstalling the IR webclient does not solve it.

931 bqy's are stored on server as zip files. (although they are renamed as *.1) On 832 they were stored as bqy files (although they were renamed to *.1 too).
The clients which had the error message tried to open their 931 documents with the 832 plugin. Which does not have the capebility to uncompress the .1 file. In that perspective is the error message very obvious.
We need to run both 832 intelligence plugin and the 931 webclient on the same client.
How can we force that the corrcet version is used for openeing the docs?

Hi All,
   i have scheduled info package for different type data sources in bi 7.0, for this i am getting the data from ecc 6.0 . all of this schedule's showing the status "error when sending data request" with the following details.
status
diagnosis
the request idoc could not be sent to the source system using rfc
system response
there is an idoc in the warehouse outbox that did not arrive in the ale inbox of the source system
in step by step analysis it is showing
   rfc to source system successful showing with ash status
   data selection successfully stated and finished ? show with red status
in that details tab
request : showing with green status
everything ok
extraction :showing with red status
missing messages
transfer(idocs and trfc) : missing messeges
processing(data packet) : no data
    it is showing technical status with red as processing overdue
                       processing step call to source system
   so it is showing error with 0 from 0 records.
please any body could help me for solving this error.

Hi
Seems you have connectivity issues between the Source system and Bi system.
You need to check whether you have data on R/3 side via RSA3 with Full / Delta Update Modes with Target System as your BI system.
RSA13--Source System -- Right click Connection parameters/check/Restore/Activate again Say Replicate All Data Sources (If Possible , provided if you have time because it consumes lot of time )
You need to check the tRFC Queue SM58/59 for any Stucks and WE19/20 for IDocs.
Much of BASIS Issue .

 I am getting a error when I try to create a extract using RSCRM_BAPI using Process Chain.
 I created a job and used that in the Process Chain, Once I run the Process Chain it is executing and
 the job is deleted and the extract gives me this error in the Monitor.
 Error Message - Error when getting data (RSDRI_CUBE_READ)
 If I run manually I am able to see the extracted records.
 Please help.

"Unknown error when executing MDX" is msg number BRAINOLAPAPI012.
Check out these 3 SAP notes:

Also test in transaction MDXTEST to see if your statements are syntactically correct.

I obtained this error when using data position delay. Can anyone please
tell me the reason why I can not configure the delay to be between 0.7
and 0.8.

The 656x devices have a limit on the available data delay values based
on frequency. Between 25MHz and 50MHz there are "holes" in the
available delay range. Above 50MHz, the full 0 to 1 data delay is
valid. If you look in the specifications installed with NI HSDIO
for the NI 656x, on page 7, Figure 1, there is an illustration showing
how to compute what the valid range is for the frequency of interest.
For example, at 40MHz, valid values are:
0 to 0.2
0.3 to 0.7
0.8 to 1
In the error message posted below, you tried to input a value of 0.71875 which is not within these ranges.

Sounds like a JRE problem.Try the following:
Go To the Hyperion\Common\RMI\1.0.0 folder and double click UninstallHyperionNTServiceRMI.cmd.
This will uninstall the RMI service. Log out of the machine and log back in.
Browse to the same folder and edit InstallHyperionNTServiceRMI.cmd.
Check the following:
set JRE_HOME=c:\Hyperion\common\JDK\Sun\1.4.2\jre (make sure the path does exist)
Further down change the following:
HyperionJavaService -install HyperionRMIRegistry "%JRE_HOME%\bin\jvm.dll"
to
HyperionJavaService -install HyperionRMIRegistry "%JRE_HOME%\bin\server\jvm.dll"
Save the changes and reinstall the RMI service.
Start the RMI service and do a telnet to port 11333: cmd->telnet servername 11333 and you should be getting a blank screen.
Then try connecting to the Planning adapter again.

We experience a sporadic "error when uncompressing data retrieved: *Data Error*!" while processing a query with IR webclient 931. The problem occurs on several webclients but on other desktops it does not. The IHTML processes fine.
Any one an idea? reinstalling interactive webclient on the same pc does not help.
Completely reinstall the pc (os and other client software including interactive webclient) does help.

Activating DemoContent: Error when reading data target

I'm trying to activate the SAP Demo cube Purchasing Data (0D_PU_C01). The Grouping Mode is set to In Dataflow Before and Afterwards.
When I simulate installation, I get the error message Error when reading data target 0D_PU_C01 (Message no. RSAU126) in the logs (although in the Collection Area the Simulation Result column is marked with a green check).
I could find only 2 notes related to this error in the SAP Service Marketplace. SAP note nr. 540873 is about the BW indexing job. Note nr. 587796 (Error in after import of update rules) seams more appropriate, however not thoroughly right. In fact it refers to BW 3.1 Content or BW 3.0B.
My system version instead is:
BI_CONT 353
SAP_BW 350
The very same problem occurs when I try to activate the SAP Demo Sales and Distribution.
Any suggestion?

Ok, it worked! Now however I have some more doubts.
1. I can't find the InfoObjects (e.g. 0D_GR_QTY, 0D_PLANT, 0D_MATERIAL, etc.) anywhere in Modeling -> InfoObjects, even if:
a) I can find them under the InfoSource tree of the SAP Demo Application Component
b) they appear activated in Business Content
What's going on?
2. The newly activated Purchasing Data cube has been added to the Unassigned Nodes InfoArea, and not to a newly created SAP Demo Purchasing (0D_MMPUR) InfoArea, similarly to the structure I saw when collecting the InfoProvider in Business Content. Is this the normal behaviour?
3. No DataSource has been assigned to any of the InfoSources. I read at:

that the SAP Demo Source System will be used. What I can't understand is if I need to manually create and select this Source System. Definition for job ARFC:SYSLOAD1C800CRMREMOTE is incomplete. Job cannot be released

I'm trying to pull data from an Oracle database using SSIS. When I try to select a few fields from the source table, it returns the following error message:
 [OLE DB Source [47]] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80040E14.
 An OLE DB record is available. Source: "OraOLEDB" Hresult: 0x80040E14 Description: "ORA-01858: a non-numeric character was found where a numeric was expected".

According to your description, the issue is a non-numeric character was found where a numeric was expected while pulling data from an Oracle database in SSIS.
Based on the error message, the issue should be you are comparing a number column to a non-number column in a query. Such as the query below (ConfID is a number, Sdate is a date):
where C.ConfID in (select C.Sdate
 from Conference_C C
 where C.Sdate < '1-July-12')
Besides, a default behavior for the Oracle OleDb Provider that change the NLS Date Format of the session to 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS can also cause the issue. For more details about this issue, please refer to the following blog:

Error when adding data into ODS

I have created a SS->Info area->Infoobject catalog->Info objects->Application component->Info source->ODS->Info cube.This is how i have created my structure.And i have created the appropriate transfer rules and update rules.And am choosing automatic update of data into the info cube.Say i have a set of 10 transactional data which i am loading and i have choosen initialize delta process and initilization with data transfer in the update and i have loaded the data.I get the correct resulting my 10 datas in the infocube but when i am trying to add 5 more data along with this 10 and loading it in i am not getting the result it shows some error and i have choosen delta process in the update before loading..can some one tell me why i get a error.

did you make settings in the "ODS Activate ODS data"?. if this was not done then then you have to activate manually then system will update data to cube automatically.
So you missed the settings for activation.
