Error when query is run

Hi Gurus,
When the query is run, it takes forever and hten come with this messages:
1) An Exception with the type CX_SY_SHARED_MEMORY occured, but was neither handled locally nor declared in RAISING
2) No space left in memory
Note: This was running OK some time back.
I followed the some instruction on OSS note: 702728, but that did not help.
I would really appreciate some help on this.

I remember having the same error once.
Have you configured your ODBC driver? This is causing the error.

Error when trying to run Advisor

Hi!
I get the following error when trying to run the Advisor (Application Builder > Application xxx > Utilities > Advisor) over our application:
Unknown type! View: APEX_APPLICATION_PAGE_PROC Column: CONDITION_EXPRESSION1 Value: WHEN_ANY_ITEM_IN_COMMA_DELIMITED_LIST_OF_PAGES_HAS_CHANGED
... this happens every time, even if I uncheck all boxes except one (e.g. "References with substitution syntax").
I'm wondering if there is something wrong with our Apex installation as I can't see any other references to this problem in the forum. We don't seem to be suffering any other problems so I expect it's something small...
Has anyone else ever encountered this and does anyone know of a solution? I would like to use the Advisor for some QA processes as it looks like a handy tool.

very interesting. Looks like one of your processes uses the WHEN_ANY_ITEM_IN_COMMA_DELIMITED_LIST_OF_PAGES_HAS_CHANGED condition which has been deprecated for a very long time.
If you execute the following query in your workspace schema, you should find those processes which do use the condition. You might want to check if the reported pages/processes are still used in your application.

Error when trying to run an application that worked when built with 8.6

I have a simple program that I wrote in version 8.6 that I never had a problem building and running applications built with it in 8.6. Two weeks ago I got 2009 in the mail because we had very recently purchased 8.6 and I am getting errors when trying to run an application built with the same code using 2009. The error has to do with the Mean.vi. It claims it cannot find it. The error I get reads as follows:
An error occurred loading VI 'NI_AALBase.lvlib:Mean.vi'. LabVIEW load error code 3: Could not load front panel. I don't need access to this vi's front panel, so I am wondering if it is a problem with the runtime engine and not my code. Please respond as soon as possible as this will quickly start to impact my testing schedule. Thank You.

I discussed it with my local NI technical support team. The application works without any problems now.
Basic rule: when creating an installer be sure that option "Run Time Engine xxxx" in "Additional Installers" category is checked in spite of the fact that Run Time Engine is already installed.

You could of course use Safari your default browser as a quick method of accessing gmail until you figure out the Firefox problem. (More than one browser may be used on a Mac or other computer).
Is this the only site you have problems with ? and does Safari work ok ?
Often this problem requires the page to be reloaded

Another problem is sometimes the cookies for that site need clearing

Error when Trying to Run Concurrent Request on ASCP Instance

Hi Experts,
I have an issue when trying to run custom concurrent program in ASCP production.
The error message is:
oracle error 20001
ORA-20001: APP-FND-02901
You do not have access privilege to any operating unit. Please check if your profile option MO: Security Profile includes any operating unit or the profile option MO: Operating Unit is set has been detected in MO_GLOBAL.INIT
I have searched through metalink regarding this issue and the solution is I should define the "MO: Security Profile" and "MO: Operating Unit" profiles.
But the problem is my ASCP instance is not have any OU, it just defined for Inv Orgs. So, when I tried to define the profile, the LOV is empty.
FYI, in my ASCP dev instance is working fine. I can run my concurrent request into it.
In this instance, the profiles of "MO: Security Profile" and "MO: Operating Unit" are blank too.
From this node:
XLAACCPB - Create Accounting Program fails with Oracle error -20001: ORA-20001: APP-FND-02901: You do not have access privilege to any operating unit [ID 753824.1]
It provided 2 actions, and when I tried to run query in the 2nd action, the result is:

We are also facing the same issue in Self Service HR, We also do not have any Operating Unit setup.
We are trying to run seeded "Active Users" concurrent program. Are you sure without setup of MO: Security Profile / MO: Operating Unit, It will work?

Intermittent errors when querying the AD

HI,
We recently replaced 2 old windows 2003 dc'S with windows 2008r2 dc'S. All is working ok except on odd occasions when query the AD i get errors such as "Server not operational" or "Domain does not exist" Everything looks correct on DNS
and there are no entries for the old servers so i am looking at alternatives. If i run wireshark i get entries such as
192.168.180.132     192.168.180.255     NBNS     92 Name query NB XXXXXXX
192.168.180.132 is the ip of a standard workstation
192.168.180.255 is an ip that has no harware associated with it
XXXXXX is the server name for one of the old servers i removed
not sure if this is realted or not, but i think both need to be resolved.
New to all this, can anybody guide on where to start

Where case when query not running at all in 11.2.0.3

I have a query that was running fine till the time we were in 11.1.0.7. Last month, we had a migration to 11.2.0.3, and the query has stopped running since then. It runs indefinitely, and finally I have to kill it. However, until 11.1.0.7, I had absolutely no problems with it. Not sure what changed in 11.2.0.3 that causes it to never give me a result. The query is as below:
SELECT T1.NAME,T2.AGE,T2.level, T2.AMT,
FROM table1 T1, table2 T2
WHERE (CASE WHEN

Please advise!I'm surprised it runs in any version. You have a comma right before the keyword FROM. If you were not getting a compile-time error, that was a bug in 11.1.0.7 that they fixed by 11.2.0.3.
It's still strange that the query runs for a long time. I would expect it to give you an error when you tried to compile it. Is there any chance that what you posted is not what you're actually running?
Also, LEVEL, NAME and DESC are not good column names. How Oracle reacts to using keywords like that as column names can vary from version to version. If a word is in v$reserved_words.keyword, then it's best to avoid using it as a column (or table, or variable, or schema) name.

By the way, that WHERE clause is a lot more complicated than it needs to be. Why not use
WHERE      t1.name = 'Peter'
AND      SUBSTR ( t1."DESC"     -- If you must use DESC, double-quote it
            , 1
            , 15
            ) = SUBSTR ( t2.description
                           , 1
                 , 15
                 )? Always think carefully before using CASE in a WHERE (or HAVING, or START WITH, or CONNECT BY) clause.

Error when trying to run web

i'm using forms and i get an 99999 error when i try to run the for using web but with the debugger and client it runs and i'm able to input data. Can anyone help please thanks

Errors when querying against universe with DBlink tables

Running XI 3.1
DB1: MS SQL Server
DB2: Oracle 11g
Universe created on DB2 has linked tables from DB1.
I created a view as Select * from table@DB1
Using Webi Rich Client: successful query results
Using Webi Lite: ORA-12154 error: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified
Using Deski: ORA-01002: fetch out of sequence. ORA-02063: preceding line from DBlink_name
I've tried numerous array fetch size parameters but Deski still has that error message. Is there a different way to fetch data from a DBLink table? Why no errors when using Webi Rich? when creating universe against DBlink tables

In our environemnt, we have encountered ORA-4030 and ORA-4031 in the past in one particular windows server. What i remember from that is , a single process in windows will be limited to use 2Gb of memory(irrespective of how much you allocate and how much RAM the server has). All the oracle user and server processes in windows has to get their share from this 2Gb allocated to a single process called oracle.exe. There is some way to extend this 2Gb limit to 3Gb or 4Gb by enabling a switch on some windows config file. You can easily get that by google.
Check the memory used by oracle.exe in 10g server's task manager.
Next, you may need to reduce SGA size... to give more room for user processes. You may investigate on these lines.
