Error when resending traps SNMP

In DFM- Configuration- Other configurations- SNMP trap forwarding,
I put two hostnames for notification (see: DFM trap fwd.jpg)
The SNMP trap receiving use the default port (see.DFM trap receiving.jpg)
And I have a problem with the hostname: 10.78.33.111 port: 262. Do not work (see: cap1.pcap)
With the other hostname: 10.24.0.41 port:162. Work ok (see:cap2.pcap)
I try to change the port from 262 to 162 and work fine, Why?
Exist any limitation about the number of port of SNMP trap forwarding?
Thanks in advance!

This sniffer trace looks fine to me.  What makes you think it's not working?  Are you sure the trap listener on 10.78.33.111 is actually bound to udp/262?

    Hi,
Another way to "find" the URL for the oamconsole, that I use if I'm not familiar with the configuration I'm working on is to first log into the Adminserver WL Console, then go to "Deployments".
Then, find "oamconsole" in the Deployments listed (on the right).
Click on that, then on the next page, look for the "Testing" tab. Click on the "Testing" tab, which which show the /oamconsole app.
Click on the "+" to expand the tree, and you should see a bunch of different URLs on the right, e.g., if you have OAM console deployed to managed servers, etc., there'll be different URLs for those, etc., and you can just click on the links to open up OAM Console in your browser.

    Hi leslievilla,
There is no full feature software and driver available from HP, but the OS X v10.9 Mavericks driver for your printer is available through Apple Software Update (ASU).
With this driver you can still print and scan, you just wont have HP software to scan from. Scanning to the computer from the printer control panel is only available when using HP Scan software, thus it will not work because there is no HP scan software as apart of the Apple Software Update driver.
This explains the issue you are having with the Printer Assistant. That program, and any other HP Software for that printer that is on the computer was intended for an earlier version of the operating system not 10.9.
Is your printer currently on your home network? If not you will not be able to use the software to configure it and this model does not have a wireless setup wizard available from the front panel. Instead you will need to either connect a USB cable, or we can try a work around to get the printer on the network.
Please complete the steps below to rid the computer of the incompatible software.
    Scrub/ Uninstall
Open the Applications folder > HP or Hewlett Packard folder > HP Uninstaller
Click continue, click on one of the printers in the list.
    * Only do this step if you do not have any other HP Printers.  Hold down Control, Option and Command, While holding the three buttons down,
    Click uninstall.
    Reset Printing System
Click the Apple icon (   ), and then click System Preferences.
In the Hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/Scan  dialog box opens.
Right-click (or  Ctrl  +click) in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system…
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type the correct Name and Password.
Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows no printer selected
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol.
    Repair Disk Permissions
On the Dock, click Applications, and then click Utilities.
    Double-click Disk Utility.
Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
Click the Repair Disk Permissions button at the bottom of the window.
Once the repair is complete, restart the computer.
    At this point you can connect a USB cable from the printer to the computer and you will be able to print and scan, or if the printer is already on your network you can add the printer to your System Preferences with these steps;
Please ensure you are using the HP driver, not the AirPrint driver.
Select Add other Printer or Scanner
Select the printer you are adding and next to 'Use' you can choose the printer driver instead of AirPrint
    You can scan using one of the following methods;
Method one: Scan from the Print & Scan window
Method two: Scan from Apple Preview
Method three: Scan from Apple Image Capture
I hope this helps. If you have any additional questions or have any difficulty using any of these methods, please let me know what method you are trying and what the issue/error is. You may also find the following document helpful; OS X v10.9 Mavericks: Installing and Using the Printer on a Mac
If you want to use your printer wirelessly, you can use another computer with a compatible operating system to configure the printer onto your wireless network, if you have one, or you can message me back and let me know and we can look at the work around as an option.
    I hope this helps.
Please click the Thumbs up icon below to thank me for responding.

  • CUOM error when trying to poll performance data from IPCC Express

    Hi Network Professionals,
Using CUOM 2.1 SP1 I get an error when trying to access the Performance menu for a IPCC Express Server in the Service Level View.
    Error Message:
Performance polling is not supported for the current capability.
The server is fully monitored and I get enviroment, system, interface and application information.
I the Polling Parameters menu (Voice Utilization Settings) the only parameter listed is "Communication Manager and Registred MGCP Gateway Utilization".
The IPCC Express version is 5.0.(2)SR01_Build045.
Is anything missing on the IPCC server? I have only configured it with SNMP.
    Kind Regards

well I bother you because I have a problem similar to that raised earlier, I have a vm INTAL CUOM 2.1 SP1 and the problem is that computers add-in-law his administration IPCC view the service level ... but when I fall into a custom group created the group and add the teams the same ip ipcc already visible, in my group I want to generate displays custom cloud but do not show me the equipment, except that I want to add IVR servers and I do not under any circumstances the samples .. lso probe and reset everything and anything related services, install the SP! and nothing. Can you help me with this or if I recommend CUOM up version of the 2.3 that I could not even see the difference with 2.1 CUOM thanks greetings

  • Detect errors when using LoadFindChangeQuery

    Greetings all!
Part of a script we have lists the saved find and change queries in a list box and allows the user to select a bunch of them to run. My issue is trapping "errors" when loading.
When you select a find and change query manually on the Find dialog InD may display the message "This query refers to formatting elements not found in this document. Continue anyway?" If you click "Yes" it loads the query but may not, for instance, have a particular style assigned. In the scripting (Win 7, InD CS6, VBA) there is no indication that the search has, essentially, changed from the loaded query because something wasn't available, like a style or font. I.e., if the query was to search for an EN space on the "EXT1" style only and the EXT1 wasn't available ALL EN spaces get found. Obviously, this is NFG.
I know I can read the XML file and check, for instance, to see whether a style is defined in the query, then check the document for that style. But yikes, it would, technically, have to check for swatches, the many other types of styles and what ever else to work 100%.
Short of reading the XML file is there any way to test a query and have the script  know something is missing?
    Thanks for reading,
    Ken

loadFindChangeQuery() loads a query, even if the formatting doesn't match, just as you found. Therefore, as you feared, the only way to check if some formatting is available is to look inside the XMLs. And that is feasible only for character-style names -- for local formatting it's pretty much undoable.

  • ERROR: Error when calling IDOCTYPE_READ_COMPLETE:OBJECT_UNKNOWN

    Hi,
We are having a problem in processing (receiving) an idoc through our RFC client in SAP .
The RFC Client is up and running however, turns red while processing a certain Idoc.
    The error occured:
Error when calling IDOCTYPE_READ_COMPLETE:OBJECT_UNKNOWN (IDoc /).
This issue has been occurring since August 18-23. if the status of the RFC client is green, its shows: Waiting for IDOC.
    My questions would be:
    1) If for example, there are 50,000 idocs that are being sent and the first 1000 contains an error, will it still process the 49,000 idocs left through RFC client?
    2) what are the possible errors of an idoc which causes the RFC client to be down (having the error above)? is it the format of the idoc? or the idoc_type itself?
    3) another instance would be, if they are resending the idocs again, the RFC will be up eventually and we'll be able to receive the idocs. what are the causes for this?
    4) are there any ways to track these idocs (which contains the error) in BODI or in SAP?
    5) what are the alternative ways of processing the idocs that contains an error?

I think there is a misspelling in your IDOC type (in header of IDOC probably)
or the IDOC type does not exist on your SAP system
you call function IDOCTYPE_READ_COMPLETE remotely on SAP server and this falls into error with exception 1 (OBJECT_UNKNOWN)

  • Error when connecting Applet to EJB

    Hi,
I have an Applet that I try to connect to an EJB, but without success.
To pinpoint the problem, I took the client-side code of the example ...examples\ejb\basic\BeanManaged
and made an AWT Applet out of it.
I seem to trap some error when I call the getInitialContext() when trying to find the Home interface.
Nothing happens in my code (ie. the Applet) after I enter this part of the code. It is a it hard to say
where it stops, since I do not get all output. It seems to die when I am trying to instantiate the
Context-object or the AccountHome object. Maybe I just have a Classpath error.
When running the BeanManaged as a Java Application, everything is working fine.
Does anyone have any experience in these matters ?
    I am using WL 5.1.0 (no SP-s), JDK 1.2.2
    Regards, Erik

Thanks for you answer Jos, but honestly I don't know what I should do then, since I can't get data from database through the applet.
I have read some articles that we can get data from database through the applet (they use tomcat too). I have followed what the article said, but I still get the error.
Do you have any idea Jos? Thank you very much for your nice attention
    Warmnest regards,
    Vijay

    Hello @larrycarol99,
I understand that after upgrading your computer when you plug in an ethernet cord you get a hardware malfunction error. I am providing you with a Microsoft Support document: Hardware Malfunction Results in System Error Message that explains what causes that error and provides steps on fixing it. I am also including a link to the Compaq Presario 5300US Desktop PC Drivers page, which unfortunately does not have any drivers for your computer running Windows Vista.
I hope this helps. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Intermitten Errors when running reports in Crystal Report Viewer

    Hi All,
We get intermittent errors when running the same crystal report over and over again.  Most of the time, it would run perfectly fine.  Once in a while we would see the error message below displayed...

    Hi,
Give it a try by using the close and dispose method for report object and also use the GC.collect.
    Hope it helps!!

Looks like you're using ant. You need to configure your ant build.xml file
so that mail.jar (and activation.jar unless you're using JDK 6) is in your
classpath when you compile (and run, of course).

Thank you.  That solved my same problem as well.
But on my screen the text scrolled  by so fast that i could barely read it and I could not scroll up to read the beginning.
how can I pipe the output so that it does not scroll so fast.  i thought this was the "less" command but when i typed:
    less pacman -Syu
    or
    pacman -Syu less
I got errors in syntax.  I am a noob coming from 1 year using Ubuntu.  I have worked thru many errors to get this far in the install.
The forums where down so I was on my own and had to use trial and error and the beginner wiki.  im glad now forums back online because i never woould have figured out this klibc error on my own.

  • Runtime Error when cancelling license request

I'm getting the following error when cancelling a license request.  The main difference between my application and the sample applications is that the root Flex Application is mx:Application, rather than mx:WindowedApplication, but I can't figure out the best way to trap this Error - I guess it would be better for the Licensing SWC to catch this error and dispatch an Event instead?

I think I'm missing something then.
I don't see how the Feature-based Licensing (http://learn.adobe.com/wiki/display/melrose/4.3+Feature-based+Licensing) can work as indicated in the documentation.
In the sample code the program will exit once the trial has expired, and there will be no other choices.    If not purchased the feature doesn't turn on, but the trial dialog will indicated an option of buy or quit once trial is expired.  The quit will exit the application completely, not disable the feature.  The licensecheck also happens at creationcomplete, not giving an option for explanation of why to buy, or what is being unlocked (yes I realize it is just sample code, but it doesn't seem practical at this point.)
Am I reading the documenation / sample code wrong?  Is there another example that will show a different type of behavior?  If you set no trial does the licensing still come up?

  • SCOM 2012 SP1 - Show on event view all snmp trap (SNMP monitoring work)

    Hello everybody,
Sorry for my english, I write normaly in french, but we have more result in english.
I have a problem with SCOM 2012. I try to catch all snmp traps sended by a 2960 CISCO switch on a EventView with a specific rule (Authoring->Rule->Collection Rules -> Event Based -> SNMP Trap (Event) based on the object target "Node")
I creat a specific management pack juste for the rule and the views.
SNMP Monitoring - CISOC 2960 => It's OK, I can have the processor state, utilization, etc ...
SNMP Monitoring Ubuntu computer => It's OK, I can have all the state I want.
SNMP Traps => The switch or the computer send traps over the network, and I can see in wireshark, the server receive the traps
SNMP Service (Windows service) => Disabled
SNMP trap (Windows service) => Disabled
Health Service (Windows service) => Enabled
Port 162 UDP => Open and listenning by the MonitoringHost.exe
Firewall rules => Everythinks is OK
SNMP Trap send version is => 2c
SNMP Monitoring device version is => 2c
I try too many of solution on different web site like :

Do you know a workaround? Or a different way to catch all the traps from a network device and show them (traps) on a event views.
    Thank you in advance.

    Hello Yan Li,
I read your link, and I found this :
The network devices must be discovered and registered as ICMPSNMP devices.
And when I make the dicovery the first time, ICMP doesn't work, so I put only SNMP. This morning I tried with ICMP and SNMP, but the same problem come to me. And I found the rootcause of the problem with this post : http://www.code4ward.net/main/Blog/tabid/70/EntryId/105/Troubleshooting-Network-Discovery-in-SCOM-2012.aspx
I allowed the SNMP service, ping, and Health Service, just after I try a second time to dicover my device and it's work (ICMP and SNMP).
I recreat all my management pack and the rule. And now it's work! Thank you very much for your help!!
    Have a nice day
    Best regards

  • Error when starting Adobe Form

I have an Adobe Form which works Ok in the development SAP Portal, but that, when I log in the production portal gives the following error:
Error when reinitializing the form (I guess, it's Error al reinicializar el formulario, in Spanish)
I think maybe there is something missing to transport, or some misconfiguration, but I haven't been able so far to find it...
Can someone give me a hand?
    Thank you in advance,
    S.

    Hi,
Can you tell me when does the error message comes? Does it comes when you are trying to open the Form or when you are trying to execute it.
Please check if it is still working in the development box?
    Regards,
