Error When Sending Service Request Through OWSM Gateway

We are trying to test using OWSM Gateways and Server Agents to sign and then verify messages being passed to a web service on a server. We have been able to get this to work with a simple HelloWorld type service without any problems. We then followed the exact same steps to do this with an actual service and it is not working.
We run the test from the "Test Page" inside the ccore GUI. We first test the connection directly to the service and receive a message about it missing the WS Security header. This is somewhat expected. Then, we send through the gateway which is set up to sign the message and pass along the header and receive the same error message:
<env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><env:Header/><env:Body><env:Fault xmlns="http://schemas.oblix.com/ws/2003/08/Faults"><faultcode xmlns="">:GenericFault</faultcode><faultstring xmlns="">WS-Security process failure:FAULT CODE: InvalidSecurity FAULT MESSAGE: Missing WS Security header in the SOAP message</faultstring><faultactor xmlns=""></faultactor></env:Fault></env:Body></env:Envelope>
We have checked the OWSM logs and can see that both times the server agent receives the request. The gateway logs, however, do not show any requests or responses even though the message should have gone through it. We do see these messages in the logs when testing our HelloWorld service with the same sign/verify settings. A review of the gateway.log file shows the following message displayed each time we submit a test to the malfunctioning service:
2007-10-18 10:30:22,263 INFO [AJPRequestHandler-HTTPThreadGroup-54] gateway.WSDLRegistry - Exception occured in updateWSDL
We have until tomorrow to get this issue resolved before development presses to move forward without OWSM security and we cannot have that. Your immediate assistance is required. Thank you.

Some additional research has been done here and it seems that web services created with SOAP 1.1 (such as the HelloWorld service) work just fine. The problem is with services created with SOAP 1.2. Are there separate configurations or changes that need to be made for SOAP 1.2 services?

    please any body could help me for solving this error.
    regards,

    Hi
    Seems you have connectivity issues between the Source system and Bi system.
    You need to check whether you have data on R/3 side via RSA3 with Full / Delta Update Modes with Target System as your BI system.
    RSA13--Source System -- Right click Connection parameters/check/Restore/Activate again Say Replicate All Data Sources (If Possible , provided if you have time because it consumes lot of time )
    You need to check the tRFC Queue SM58/59 for any Stucks and WE19/20 for IDocs.
    Much of BASIS Issue .
    Hope it helps and clear

  • Error when sending multiple request at same time

    When we send multiple request at the same time, we get an error.
    Same scenario
    XIServer:AE_DETAILS_GET_ERROR:Error while reading from the secure store:
    ERROR_U: No service user password found for Adapter Engine
    The first request is processed OK, it's the second one that gives the error...
    Anybody any ideas?

    Check out the below thread : Re: No service user password found for Adapter Engine
    May be some of the solution from the thread will work for you.

  • 404 Error when sending Servlet request to IIS Dispatcher

    I am configuring dispatcher in IIS. The dispatcher works fine for all pages but servlet.
    I can send request to myServlet through CQ original url successfully (http://localhost:4503/myServlet). However when I browse myServlet through IIS (http://192.168.0.1/myServlet), 404 error occurs.
    Following is more info:
    CQ version: 5.5
    Dispatcher version: 4.1.3
    IIS version: 7.5
    message in dispatcher log:
    Dispatcher initializing (build 4.1.3)
    farms[myApp].homepage = /content/myApp.html
    farms[myApp].cache.docroot = c:\inetpub\wwwroot
    Dispatcher initialized (build 4.1.3)
    Found farm myApp for 192.168.0.1
    checking [/myServlet]
    no cache due to missing extenson in uri: /myServlet
    cache-action for [/myServlet]: NONE
    Filter rejects GET /myServlet HTTP/1.0
    Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

    The last message from the dispatcher log file you provided already points in the right direction: You need to change the filter definition in your dispatcher configuration to allow request to your serlvet. For example, you could provide an explicit configuration entry for your servlet such as the following:
    /filter
       /0001 { /type "deny"  /glob "*" }
       /0010 { /type "allow" /glob "/myServlet" }
    Or follow a more generic approach, where you use a common path for all your servlets (e.g. "/bin") and allow requests to this path in your dispatcher configuration:
    /filter
      /0001 { /type "deny"  /glob "*" }
      /0010 { /type "allow" /glob "/bin/*" }

    Hi,
    Please cross check the URL that you are giving in Proposed URL option wihile you are generating the WSDL.
    Type the URL that you are using as i mentioned in above in Intenet Explorer and press Enter. This should give Message servelet ok.
    Then clear CPA Cache and test your scenario, it will work ( Provided you should fill SOAP Adatpter parameters correctly in ID).
    Thanks

    Thanks. Although the Console version was showing the same on both the server and users workstations I think what we had was UR3 installed on the servers and UR2 installed on the workstations. Installing UR3 on all workstations seems to have fixed the issue

  • Intent_driven Interaction: Sending E-Mail when the Service Request is saved

    Hi,
    I would like to send automatically an E-mail when the Service Request is saved. I created a new policy within context "Intent Driven Interaction" . I chose the IC event "OrderSaved" and the relevant Business Roles.  In my rule I chose the condition "If current Event equals  Order was saved"  and  the action "Send out going E-Mail Using Mail Form".  I created an interaction profile that is assigned to the Service Manager Profile "IDI Default".
    It does not work.  Any idea ? Is there a way to test this type of rule ?
    Thanks a lot !!!

    Thanks a lot for your fast response, unfortunately this is not what i was looking for.
    Kind regards

  • Error when sending message: 500 Internal Server Error

    Hi
    IE is not accepting any messages,
    when I try to send the messgae to the IE ( using RWB) i am getting the below error " Error when sending message: 500 Internal Server Error".
    following things what i have noticed.
    1. Pipleline URL is fine, both in the BS of XI and in the RFC destnation which i am maintaing on the  IE admin) URL is  "http://<host>:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry"
    2. SICF all the XI serivess are up and running, i am able to test these service.
    3. The http port is active ( SMICM )
    Pls note the error is  500 Internal Server Error
    regards
    Nisar

    I think in a simple term 500 can be said as "the request cannot be processed curretnly", these options mentieoned by you are not applicable in my case.
    This generally occurs due to load problem or if you are on an SP less than 12 or even if there is an administration problem---I am on PI7.0 , what are the administration problem you are talking about?
    1 Check Table Space is enough. ---i had installed server recently & very few interface running.
    2 Server licence Date or Time. In this case change system date and restart server.---i have recently installed server.
    3 Check the service pack levels on your XI. If it is obsolete upgrade it with latest versio----Can u explain more on this?
    Try restart the java stack(XI Server) and follwing services.
    com.sapii.af.app ---I am not passing trough Adater framework, so i dont think this service will matters....
    com.sapii.cpa.af.app.---CPA cahe is done sucessfully, as i said i am not passsing through adapter framework.
    basically for a simple HTTP post what might cause 500 error if all necessary services are up and running?
    regards
    Nisar

  • RWB:Error when sending message: 404 Not Found

    Dear all,
    "i am getting error:      Error when sending message: 404 Not Found"
    while testing from rwb > Component Monitoring   > Non-Central Adapter Engines >  Adapter Engine AIPID > test message >
    with send message to = http://pid:50000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry - pi server url
    sld buss system > pipeline url http://pid:50000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry (same)
    and my id comm channel > target host > bid.xxx.com with service no
    (adapter type: xi

    address type: url address
    target host: bid

    i am working in nw2004s system)
    while testing cache connectivity test from rwb > Component Monitoring
    i got error:http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dcdrq9jt_0g6j35p

    though if i try to send message from rwb...> with send message to field with : directly to bi rather than pipeline url through bi than message send successfully but not getting into component monitoring.
    what should i do?
    best regards,
    dushyant.
    refer this forum: is rwb's send message to field = sld>buss system>Pipeline URL?
    and
    SXI_CACHE
    @8O@ Error during last attempt to refresh cache
    LCR_GET_OWN_BUSINESS_SYSTEM - NO_BUSINESS_SYSTEM
    Smq2 = 0
    Sm58 = 0

    Hi,
    If you are testing sending the message to the Adapter Engine, then the Send Message URL should be like this:
    http://<server>:<J2EEport>/MessagingSystem/receive/AFW/XI
    For your error, refer to the following threads:
    Unable to find an associated SLD element
    Unable to refresh cache contents in XI.
    Unable to find an associated SLD element
    Cheers

    Hi,
    You need to Publish the services in a proper sequence, then only it will get activated.
    Also switch between SAP GUI for windows and SAP gui for HTML, because if you are accessing the system through network, problem may arise.
    Try switching between these launchpads, might help you.
    Publish the WEBGUI first, SHUFFLER then, and dont forget to publish completely, else it wont work.

    Error when processing your request
    The URL http://hostname/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ui_frame/bspwdApplication.do was not called due to an error.
    The following error processed in the system: "syntax error in program /1BEA/SAPLCRMB_O".
    This Dump does not occur every time. now & then I am getting the dump but not every time. mostly it comes when I process any thing for the first time on UI.
    Please help me out to fix this dump. it is a standard program so we can not correct the program. Please let me know if there is any other way to fix this problem.
    Thanks in advance
    JM

    Hi,
    This is not a standard program, this is a generated program through billing engine. I guess you'd have to regenerate the program. Talk to your functional folks who created this.
