Error when starting any BPC Office Client
Hello,
When we launch any of the BPC Office Clients (Word, Excel or Powerpoint) we have this error:
"Reference to undeclared entity 'AMP'. Line 1, position 20085"
After acepting the error, in the Action Pane on the right there aren't any dimension in the Current View.
Regards
Hi,
Please check the pre software client using the SAP BPC webpage. If it's no problem, my suggestion is:
1. Please make sure that the file "XceedZip.dll" in the directory: C:Program Files\BPC. You should check on client PC. If you don't find that file, please copy from another PC client which not appears error.
2. Register the file "XceedZip.dll" into the window registry. Using the command dos: REGSVR32 "C:\Program Files\BPC\XceedZip.dll". You should be the administrator user.
3. Run the BPC Excel again.
I hope my suggestion can help you.
Thanks,
Wandi Sutandi

BPC Office Client Error : "Invalid member name"
Hi,
we loaded data via SAP BI to our BPC generated cube, filling the category type dimension with a constant (V00) for identifying the actuals. Now when I try to run a report on the application via BPC Office Client, and I set the current view for the category type dimension to the constant 'V00', I receive an error message with says "Invalid member name" . However the member was manually added in the masterdata via the BPC Admin Console. Does anyone have an idea what causes this error ?It doesn't seems the process of dimension was working.
So I suggest to process again that dimension from Admin console and after that into client side just do refresh dimension members.
This should take away your error.
Kind Regards

Error when starting parser: timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL:'TfSAPCMRC'
Hello experts.
When I try to preview or refresh a Crystal Report document built on a BEx query I get the following error msg:
Database connector error: BAPI Error #0. Error when starting parser: timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'TfSAPCMRCV'.
We have done as suggested in "SAP Note 1032461 - MDX parser does not start", but without success.
This is what we've tried so far:
replaced the file "librfc32.dll" (in C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64) with the new version mentioned in Note 413708.
tested the connection in SM59 - non successful
tested the report query with transaction MDXTEST - non successful
tried to start the mdxparser manually on server - non succesful, error msg: "The application failed to initialise.."
We have the following config:
MS server 2003 SP2 x64 ed.
SAP logon 7.20
MS SQL server 2005
CR 2008
new librfc32.dll version 7200.1.39.6461
Any ideas on what to try next would be highly appreciated!
Cheers, IngAHi Ingo.
We have only one application server.
I registered the new version of the file C:\windows\SysWOW64\librfc32.dll with regsvr32.exe successfully. I've also tried to copy the new file to the same directory as the mdxsvr.exe-file is located, but it made no difference.
Should I remove all other copies of librfc32.dll and only keep the one in folder C:\Windows\SysWOW64, or maybe register them all with regsvr32.exe?

Error when starting Mercury Quicke Test Professional
Hello,
I am executing the QTP scripts through eCATT. During execution I got an error ' Error when starting Mercury Quick Test Professional'.
Does anybody knows how to resove this?
Thanks,
MahanteshHi,
This is a common problem if scripting is disabled either on server or on ur sapgui client.
for enabling at server got rz11 tcode and enter sapgui/user_scripting profile and enable scripting there.
Refer my sdn weblogs which shows minimum config for QTP and ECATT and also how to create and run the scripts.

Error when starting configtool.
The installation is successful. But I am getting the following error when starting configtool:
PerfTimes : loadNativeLayer: loading jperflib failed. no jperflib in java.library.path
com.sap.engine.frame.core.configuration.ConfigurationException: Error while conn
ecting to DB.
This is not during the installation as given in some of the other posts. The installation is successful and I am able to start and run the J2EE engine and the Portal. This error occurs when I try to start the config tool.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.Hi Arul,
Have you checked the parameters that the configtool is using to connect? (don't use default settings)
What database is this on? In the case that it is oracle can you TNS ping the db? The listener is running?

Thanks & kind Regards,
SLHi,
The issue might be with the secondary methods of the decision step. Check if any secondary methods are included in the decision step. and make sure when you are using the secondary methods you should ahve the instance of the business object.. in the workflow container so that the methods that you want to execute parallel while or before executing the workitem.
The secondary methods will be listed out under METHODS tab of decision step

Multiple condition : Error when starting a SWITCH branch
Hi,
In our Z Leave Workflow,I am facing the errors listed below.
Error when starting a SWITCH branch
Error during CASE evaluation in SWITCH mode for node 0000000158
Operator 'EQ': The value of the left operand cannot be determined
Error in the evaluation of expression '<???>&REQ.STATUS&' for item '1'
Unable to determine the value of component ''
It gives error in Multiple condition Request Approved? which is similar to standard WF12300111 node number 158 (u can say copy of WF12300111
This multiple condition works in some scenario But it gives dump at other scenario .
I have checked the value of REQ.STATUS in runtime. It populates the value as 'POSTED' in runtime,
Please suggest if any solution on this.
Regards,
KalpeshHi There was some problem with task which was comprising class CL_PT_REQ_WF_ATTRIBS and APPROVE method. This method is to change the status of particular leave workitem. After running this particular task ,the status was not changin instantly. This method locks particular workitem and was releasing the workitem once the WF gets completed.Hence I was getting REQ.STATUS as sent.
I have changed that task with following code in new task...
DATA:
REQUEST_ID TYPE PTARQ_DEDUCTION-REQUEST_ID,
request TYPE REF TO if_pt_req_request,
new_status TYPE tim_req_status.
SWC_GET_ELEMENT CONTAINER 'REQUEST_ID' REQUEST_ID.

system_failure = 2
OTHERS = 3.

MESSAGE w058(hrtim_abs_req) WITH request_id.
ELSE.
CALL METHOD ca_pt_req_header=>agent->get_request

execute state transition
CALL METHOD request->initiate_state_transition

im_transfer_event = 'APPROVE'
IMPORTING
ex_new_status = new_status.
COMMIT WORK.
CALL FUNCTION 'DEQUEUE_EPTREQ'

ENDIF.
This will create new status for leave item during WF processing.
Apart from that also added Wait for 2 minutes after that task....
Thanks for your help.

I get a error when starting Apache Tomcat 6.0 service
Hi Friends,
I get a error when starting Apache Tomcat 6.0 service. Do you help me?
Kind regards.
Fatih Temiz
First Step:
Second Step:
Thanks for helps...It seems like the JVM is pointing to incorrect .dll file.
Goto Apache bin directory, and from there open Apache[version]W.exe
Click the "Java" tab and ensure the first textbox "Java Virtual Machine" is pointed to the correct jvm.dll
If it was pointed to the JDK then it is wrong. Repoint it to the jre jvm located at \jre6\bin\client\jvm.dll
Let me know if it resolves the issue. -
Intermittent error when using the Disco Viewer client
Hi, I have a user receiving the following intermittent error when using the Discoverer Viewer client:
“The application encountered an invalid state.
- Discoverer Beans XML Exception. Method: findNode Class: XMLUtils Error: Cannot find parent node. Parent element does not exist in XML document, looking for database_account/eul
OracleBI Discoverer Viewer was unable to find the necessary data for displaying the results of this event. Please correct any errors and try again.”
Any idea what this might be? Any help or direction would be very much appreciated! Thank you!Hello
Is this related to a single machine or common to a single report or is it purely random?
I did a search on your behalf and came up with nothing related to this error. You may therefore need to raise the problem with Oracle Support.
Just out of curiosity which version of Discoverer are you using?

Tuchpad stops working when starting any app
Hi,
My mousepointer stops when starting any app. Works fine after starting anything, at the desktop, but as soon as I start any program, systemsettings or else it stops to work.I'm having pretty much the same problem. When I try to launch InDesign CS5.5 I receive the error message from Windows: Adobe InDesign CS5.5 has stopped working.
I have the Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium Student and Teacher Edition, running on Windows 7 Home Edition Premium 64 bit
I have tried opening InDesign directly and get the error message, and I've tried opening from a document and get the same message.
Recently I had to move to a new computer, as my old hard-drive boot died on the old one, so I was not able to uninstall Creative Suite 5.5 from the old computer. However, the rest of the Suite works fine, just not InDesign.
I have tried the fix as per Peter Spiers' post above; I renamed the InDesign SavedData file, but there was no InDesign Defaults file. I searched for adobefnt*.lst files, but there were none.
I've not successfully used InDesign since loading it on this new computer, so perhaps this makes a difference?
