Does anyone have a hint on what to do?
Thanks for your help!

Pontushi
try to check with SAPBEXC.xla
and take a look oss note 585643
may need to manual register .dll with regsvr32
Do an Installation check of the BEx Analyzer as follows:
In the bex analyzer menu, Business explorer -> Installation Check -> Once the excel sheet opens, press the start button to start the check. Check the entries in red to see any missing/old ocx, dlls. -
Error when starting parser: timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL:'TfSAPCMRC'
Hello experts.
When I try to preview or refresh a Crystal Report document built on a BEx query I get the following error msg:
Database connector error: BAPI Error #0. Error when starting parser: timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'TfSAPCMRCV'.
We have done as suggested in "SAP Note 1032461 - MDX parser does not start", but without success.
This is what we've tried so far:
replaced the file "librfc32.dll" (in C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64) with the new version mentioned in Note 413708.
tested the connection in SM59 - non successful
tested the report query with transaction MDXTEST - non successful
tried to start the mdxparser manually on server - non succesful, error msg: "The application failed to initialise.."
We have the following config:
MS server 2003 SP2 x64 ed.
SAP logon 7.20
MS SQL server 2005
CR 2008
new librfc32.dll version 7200.1.39.6461
Any ideas on what to try next would be highly appreciated!
Cheers, IngAHi Ingo.
We have only one application server.
I registered the new version of the file C:\windows\SysWOW64\librfc32.dll with regsvr32.exe successfully. I've also tried to copy the new file to the same directory as the mdxsvr.exe-file is located, but it made no difference.
Should I remove all other copies of librfc32.dll and only keep the one in folder C:\Windows\SysWOW64, or maybe register them all with regsvr32.exe?

Hi guys,
We have just installed the 710 GUI and when i try to open a Query in BEX or even the Query designer i get the following error: "RSOBJS 170 serious error occurred while reading history folder". When i click on ok it goes to 3.x and says "opening 3.x workbook for upgrade" and comes up with various message popups; Problems while ready query metadata for query: SAPBEXq0002.
Please does anyone have any advice on how to resove this issue? Thanks, points will be given.Dear all,
we have also received a similar problem. When starting BEx Analyzer this error appears sometimes ... curiously, it does not always appear, but only when Excel has been opened before enabling the Analyzer-AddIn.
It would be great if anyone has a solution for this.
Best regards.

Hi
We are having SRM5.0.
Trying to create Contract. Workflow Without approval of contract(WS1400086)is activated and start conditions also no workflow activated.
Contract is created and getting message Contract created.
But when tried to release the contract it shows "Awaiting approval".
In Workflow log (SWI1)it shows error."Error when starting work item xxxx".
What could be the reason. Please let me know the solution if anyone of you come across such error.
Thanks in advance
JagadishMasa
It is maintained as General task already.
It seems the workflow task WS14000085 does not have definition.
When checked in SWDD for the above teask there are no steps defined for that workflow.
SAP says that we need to define and action for workflow WS14000085.
But what is the procedure to define the workflow.
I presume this is the standard workflow and it should be defined by default when it comes along with the SRM package.
Anyone of you know how to define the workflow and activate the same?

The workflow check shows no warnings or errors. What could be the problem?
Thank you in advance.
/ElvezCheck the workflow container (of the started workflow instance) and see if you spot a problem with one of the container objects used in your switch conditions.

Error when starting Mercury Quicke Test Professional
Hello,
I am executing the QTP scripts through eCATT. During execution I got an error ' Error when starting Mercury Quick Test Professional'.
Does anybody knows how to resove this?
Thanks,
MahanteshHi,
This is a common problem if scripting is disabled either on server or on ur sapgui client.
for enabling at server got rz11 tcode and enter sapgui/user_scripting profile and enable scripting there.
Refer my sdn weblogs which shows minimum config for QTP and ECATT and also how to create and run the scripts.

Error when starting configtool.
The installation is successful. But I am getting the following error when starting configtool:
PerfTimes : loadNativeLayer: loading jperflib failed. no jperflib in java.library.path
com.sap.engine.frame.core.configuration.ConfigurationException: Error while conn
ecting to DB.
This is not during the installation as given in some of the other posts. The installation is successful and I am able to start and run the J2EE engine and the Portal. This error occurs when I try to start the config tool.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.Hi Arul,
Have you checked the parameters that the configtool is using to connect? (don't use default settings)
What database is this on? In the case that it is oracle can you TNS ping the db? The listener is running?

No jdev version?
You should n^know by now that you have to give at least some basic information.
A description of what you tried to do outside the listing would help too.

Error when starting submethod -
Dear Experts,
we are using standard work flow for Appropriation Request(AR) approving.
Approvers are geting mail to SAP inbox.
when double click on inbox->worlflow item for that particular AR, it goest AR display screen & when we click on balk(F3) goes to screen where we can click on "approve" , " Reject" buttons.
now issue is once double click on inbox item gives infor message saying "Error when starting submethod"(Message no. SWF_RUN637) & goes to approval screen directly.
Please help to correct this issue.
Thanks & kind Regards,
SLHi,
The issue might be with the secondary methods of the decision step. Check if any secondary methods are included in the decision step. and make sure when you are using the secondary methods you should ahve the instance of the business object.. in the workflow container so that the methods that you want to execute parallel while or before executing the workitem.
The secondary methods will be listed out under METHODS tab of decision step

Windows error when starting iTunes 5.
Hey.
My iTunes suddenly started giving me a Windows error when starting it. I installed iTunes 5 instead of iTunes 4 recently, and it has been running. But today when I wanted to transfer some more music to my iPod iTunes wouldn't start. I just get the Windows Error... thing. What can I do? I already tried to reinstall it, but as you know, it's god d*mn impossible to completely delete Apple software without a format.
I talked to a friend of mine who had experienced the same problem, but it was his firewall/antivirus (F-Secure) that was the problem, and I'm running PC-Cillin - which I tried to disable, but it didn't help.
Help, thank you.Deffo a missing quicktime issue. See my post Chris Rocco, "itunes launching problem.", 07:20am Oct 2, 2005 CDT
Itunes relies for some unknown reason on compression technologies in quicktime libraries. Crazy! No more quicktime alternative! -
MissingResourceException Error when Starting Application

I have an Enterprise Application (.ear file) that contains one WAR file. The War file includes resources in the following structure:

How can I correct this error?I successfully installed SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version on Vista home edition. I was able to start the application server by following the steps outlined by Marcelo Ramos at the following link:
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e0c0bdf1-3440-2b10-db8a-ae16f614745d
I hope this helps someone else as well.
