When I load the data from the SAP CRM source system. Iam getting the following error.

Diagnosis
Data Packets or Info Packets are missing in BW, but there were - as far as can be seen - no processing errors in the source system. It is
therefore probable that an error arose in the data transfer.
With the analysis an attempt was made to read the ALE outbox of the source system, which lead to error .
It is possible that no connection exists to the source system.
Procedure
Check the TRFC overview in the source system.
Check the connection of the source system for errors and check the
authorizations and profiles of the remote user in both the BW and
source systems.
Check th ALE outbox of the source system for IDocs that have not been

ok here's a development..when i logged in the source system to check the job...it says the job defn is incomplete. The description says:
Definition for job ARFC:SYSLOAD1C800CRMREMOTE is incomplete. Job cannot be released
Can anyone give an insight on it.

Use either Setup Assistant at first start, or Migration Assistant on subsequent occasions and all will be transferred intact. Given your wording I presume you are Unix savvy and will appreciate the problems that duplicate userids would cause, so of you use MA for the migration, make sure the target Mac has no userid equal to that on the source and you will be fine.
SA does not have these issues since it runs before any user account is created, so it can simply copy over everything. But MA runs after the fact and only solves the issue partially by changing the UID in the user directory, leading to permission problems.

I have read how to transfer data and using setup assistant but I am concerned about applications from Apple having the same names.

As you likely know legacy apps that are PPC based will not migrate over. However the data files will. I would urge you to inventory the apps you have and their data files to see how important they are and then look app by app to see what app replacements are available. If you are using Office for Mac prior to the 2008 version you will need to get a new license of the app because the 2004 version was PPC based. The files will come over and are readable by newer version of Office for Mac (I recommend the 2011 version) and also readable by the iWorks apps (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) but those are different apps than Office and work differently and do not have all of the features of the MS Office apps. This is really only a issue if you share files with MS Office users, if you use them for personal work then iWork may be just fine for your needs.

Short Dump when loading data (Runtime Error ITAB_DUPLICATE_KEY) Urgent Pls

We are loading data into (2 ODS and ! Cube) from one Infopkg.
When i do delta update it throws following error
(for one ODS it is green) and for another ODS and CUBE it is red.
Runtime Error          ITAB_DUPLICATE_KEY
What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "GP229LMXTFYDS5X6UC3ND03NIV2" had to be terminated
because one of the
statements could not be executed.
Please suggest me some solution, i am with client..its a serious issue now.

hi,
hope if you retrigger the load it would be successful.
force the request status to red and delete from the all target and retrigger the load.
else chk if in the detail tab u could find the data upto PSa. if so delete the red request alone and pull the records to tohose records from PSA.

Error "server with secure communication unavailable" when adding iCloud account to iCal

I have set up iCloud and activated the Calendars option, but can see iCloud in iCal. Whenever I try to manually add an iCloud account from the iCal preferences I get an error "Server with secure communication unavailable" and it won't add the iCloud account.
Does anybody have a soluton for this issue?

                 We are Loading Data from (2LIS_11_VAHDR ) From source system .
1. Data Transferred to PSA .
2. Transformation is activated.(mapping based on RSOSFIELDMAP table for transfomation)
3. While Executing DTP we are following Error Messages ,
* R7105 - The Object Name is not allowed to be Empty.
                   * RSBK241 - Error while updating to target OSD_CO3.
                   * RSBK229 - Data Package processing terminated.
Note: Even though we are getting error messages the data is transferred to infocube

I am also got the same problem long back but i can not remeber exactly but that is problem with transformations in the form of may be for some key figures taht currency units not updating
or some of the fileds to info object transformations , check once again that data element and length of fields and info objects and activate once again, or just delete existed DTP , create new DTP between DS and Info cube and try to load.

Fatal error while transferring data from one bb to another

I was trying to transfer data from one bb to a different bb using the bb desktop manager tool. It collected all the data from the first bb fine and then while transferring data to the new one it said a fatal error occured to try again. That bb will not even turn on now. No white screen or anything. Its like there is no operating system. I don't know what to do. I tried to connect it and just update the software but that isnt working either. Says it is not responding during initialization! I think I killed it.... any ideas what to do???

Help with disk failures when transfering data

I keep receiving data treansfer errors "Attempting to copy to the disk [my iPod's name] failed. The disk can not be read from or written to". But I can read from it and I can load some videos and music. Help!

The iPod firmware, uninstall the current one you have. For Windows go to Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs. scroll down to 'iPod Updater 2005-10-12' and click Uninstall.
Download it again (just incase it was corrupted). And install it,
Plug in your iPod and go to Start -> All Programs -> iPod -> iPod Updater 2005-10-12 and click 'Restore' Note: This deletes all your music and files on your iPod, so you'll have to put those on again after, something will popup saying like that, click 'OK'. And let it go through, if theres any iPod Updater errors, post back.

Error in the Data Selection - Errors in Source System RSM 340

Hey Everyone,
I'm having an issue with loading a Delta for 0MAT_PLANT_ATTR. This is the second night it has happened, where I get the error "Error in the Data Selection". This error happens in the EXTRACTION part of the Monitor. And, we cannot run another Delta to see if it'll work, we have to delete the old Delta Init, and run a new one. The other error is "Errors in Source System - RSM340". That's as much it gives.
Could anyone suggest why this would be happening? I checked RSA3 in R/3, and no errors on the extraction. I also checked sm37 against the job that loads that data, and it completed successfully. I honestly don't think there's an issue with the data. We cannot have this happen often, and I just need to know if this is something that can be corrected.

There is nothing wrong with the TID's or anything like that. There is also no selection criteria in the infopackage.
When the Delta fails, the error occurs under EXTRACTION in the monitor. It seems to be successful under TRANSFER and PROCESSING in the monitor, which I find strange. Also, I run a new Delta Init with Data Transfer, and that works just fine.
So, I'm not sure what it could be?

Hi,
I have a table with a blob column containing images, not
intermedia column.
I am using intermedia process method to change some images,
change maxScale and compression.
I get this error when I try to change certain images

Does anyone know why?
P.S. how do you do an explict close of ORDSYS variable
after initializing?

I suspect you'll need to supply a TIFF image for the interMedia
engineers to experiment on. The error message you received is
essentially a "last chance" error message and isn't specific
enough for diagnosis of your problem.

data : tab type X value 9.
Could you tell me how to fix it ? What I have to do in this situation ?

K7D Master-L MS-6501 computer locks up when transferring data to external HD

I'm not 100% sure the problem is with the motherboard, but I think I've narrowed it down to the point that the MB could be the problem, and so I figured it was worth a shot to see if anyone else had heard of this problem or perhaps had any suggestions as to what it could be...anyway...
Here's the problem: whenever I try to transfer large data files onto my LaCie 250GB external HD, my computer locks up completely. No CTRL+ALT+DEL. No Pass Go (and certainly no $200 :P). The connection interface is USB 2.0, to which I use the USB 2.0 controller card that came with my MB. When I connected the HD to my laptop (Dell Inspiron 5150, I think), it transferred the files flawlessly. Also, when I connected the drive to my roommate's desktop (another homemade system, though much beefier), it also read from/wrote to the HD without a hitch. I even tried connecting the HD to my laptop, and (since my desktop & laptop are on the same network) mapped the HD onto my desktop as a network drive. Then I transferred 24GB+ of data w/o any lock ups or problems whatsoever. However, when I reconnected the HD back to my desktop and tried transferring a little over 500MB worth of files, it locked up after getting about 75% through. I even tried disconnecting all of USB devices but the HD (and my mouse) and it still locked up after getting so far w/ the transfer.
The issue doesn't seem to be a data-throughput issue, b/c it transferred just fine when the HD was mapped as a network drive, and the drive works flawlessly on other computers, so I don't think the problem is in the drive itself (or the cable). The only time there is an issue is when the HD is connected to my desktop via any USB port (I've tried both the on-board ports as well as the controller card ports). Have any of you guys (or gals) ever heard of such an issue? I hesitate to say it's the ports themselves b/c I've got about 8+ USB devices connected to my computer at any given time, and none of them have any issues communicating back and forth (nor have they ever locked up my machine like it's doing now). A couple of friends have suggested that it might be a driver or BIOS issue, but I can't seem to find any USB driver updates for my MB model (I have only the ones on the disc that came w/ my MB) and the MSI website warns not to flash the BIOS if everything is running ok with your computer (which it is, minus this issue). My BIOS version is 1.6 (probably should've put that w/ my signature :P)
I hope this is enough info to go on. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!

To my knowledge, both of the other systems it was tested on had SP1 installed (I know that's the case on my laptop).
I dunno if it would make a difference, but my laptop has WinXP Home, whereas my desktop has Pro installed.

Error in transferring data from Catalog , in Managing business partners,SRM

When I post data of Suppliers from ROS , and then check the Manage business partners in mySAP SRM ( ITS) pages , it pops a message " Data cant be transeferred from Catalog".
Can anyone please explain ,,how to overcome this problem,,,
Is it a config problem or some problem in Codes ?
Its giving error for the Standard SAP ROS page also.

Seems like some BASIS issue related to Roles/ Profiles / Authorization object missing for the log on user. Try giving SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profiles to the user and see whether the same error happens or not.
Also ensure, number range configuation settings in SPRO are correctly maintained.

Error while transferring Data from PSA to DSO

Hi all,
We had a requirement to load data into the DSO.We are extracting it from R3.
Problem is that while loading in PSA it is showing 1056 records ,But when we are trying to load it in DSO it is showing Transferred records as 1428 and added records as 1073.Please help ASAP!!!!!!!!

Hi,
the difference in records can be due to some changes happening in the transformation.
check your transformation from the DS to your DSO if it contains any start,end or update routines oe any other such thing.
Also check if there is one to one mapping from DS to DSO or if some fields in DS are not mapped to DSO.
