Has anyone had the issue of getting an "unknown error" -50 when trying to sync Album Artwork? I have searched for a similar problem and have found nothing. The art work used to work on my old machine. I have recent change computers, but I moved all my music over to the new machine without any issues. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

SharePoint Designer 2010 Error occurs when accessing Edit Form: "The server returned a non-specific error when trying to get data from the data source ..." This occurs when using "" in a calculated column in a SharePoint List

I created a calculated column "Expiration Date" in SharePoint 2010 with formula, =IF([Contingent Hire]=TRUE,(Created+90),(IF([Contingent Hire]=FALSE," ")))
This works in the SharePoint list but when I go to edit the Edit Form in Designer. I get the error specified in the title of this post. I'm trying to make it so the Expiration Date is blank when another column, "Contingent Hire" (a YES/No
column) is FALSE.
The Edit Form is essentially a DataViewWebpart. If I remove the " ", like so, "(IF([Contingent Hire]=FALSE,))" from the calc column, the error goes away; however, the Expiration Date field does not
remain blank like I want it to.
Does anyone have any suggestions? (Below is the error generated when I open Designer and then try to open the Edit form for the corresponding list containing the calc column)

Could you provide a screenshot about this issue?
As Dimitri suggested, you can install the update for your SharePoint Designer and check again.
And you can also check if you can display "NA" instead of " " in your calculated column per the following post.

Run Time Error when trying to get into the organizer

Does anyone know when I keep getting a run time error when I'm trying to go into the organizer and how I get it to go away?

The answer is that maybe someone does know ... but unless you give us the basic details of what you are doing, we probably can't help.

What operating system?
What is the EXACT word-for-word verbatim error you are seeing?
Does any part of PSE (like the "splash" screen) pop up before this error? If so, describe it or give us a screen capture.

Error when trying to get database online (intermedia)

Everything works fine when I'm using localhost. The support guy for intermedia told me that he "reviewed your SQL File and it does not appear to have a problem" So I don't know where to go from here...

ok, I went back and made a new database but changed the character set / collation... aside from that change, everything is the same, but I get an error saying that the datasource could not be found when I can see all the tables in intermedia's phpmyadmin page... would changing the character set / collation cause this error?

Hi Ravi,
The problem could be because of a wrong JDBC url or user id or password. Check whether the entries are the correct one.

Getting a -50 error when trying to put artwork

HELP! since i installed the new version of itunes (7. something) im haivng so much trouble puttin all my artwork in my iPod. First, I deleted by accident cuz she can but i didnt mean to press the button. The artwork still displays in my Itunes in the computer,though, so I jsut figured I click on the "display artwork on my ipod" button and im all set. when the artwork was bein updated in my ipod, it stopped halfway and it said "The ipod cannot be updated.An unknown error has occured [-50]" I reset my cpu, update it again, reset my ipod (with the meno+center button thing) and I tried EVERYTHING (except for the drastic measure of restoring my whole ipod.HECK NO) and i dont knwo what to do.anyoen can help?

Error when trying to download artwork

I have successfully downloaded all kinds of album artwork until yesterday and now it says unknown error 609 and does not pull the album artwork in. Does anyone know what the deal is?

I wish I could say the same. "Get Album Artwork" so far has been useless. Of the 465 albums (original, purchased, nothing pirate) I have on my iPod, Apple can only find 7 album covers. Of those, 3 are wrong. The vast majority of the albums I have imported were recognized by CDDB Gracenote, so album and track names were entered "correctly".
I cleared all previous artwork I had entered manually to try this new feature (don't worry, I saved all bmp on a folder in case this didn't work). I was hoping that saving a single image per album would allow me to get more room since 6000 songs with each ID3 tag storing an image averaging 250K was costing 1.5Gb!
As examples, I have a huge collection of broadway musicals:
-Aida is considered by CDDB Gracenote as "Aida" when I import the CD. iTunes store has the same album as "Aida (Original Broadway Cast Recording)". Anyway, I've tried changing the album names, artist, year, to match exactly what was on the iTunes store song info, but no artwork is ever found.
-Cats never downloads any artwork either.
-Titanic, downloads the artwork for Cats!! (go figure, the name of the album is Titanic: A New Musical". How the **** does it associate it with Cats?
-The Man of LaMancha downloads artwork for a musical I had never heard before: Carnival!!!
-One classical CD with only orchestral music by Mahler downloads artwork for another album with a Mexican tenor singing arias by Mozart!!! What?
This software by Apple is complete screwed up!! I hope they issue a new release soon where the user can enter this single artwork per album without having to go fetch on whatever flawed database they're using now.

"Missing version string for product" error when trying to get updates on Lion Server

I am not getting the latest updates from Apple on my 10.7.4 server. When I attempt to do so the log has a bunch of errors stating "Missing version string for product". I've tried deleting and recreating the swupd files but I am still having the same issue. Is there any fixes to this problem I am missing? Thanks in advance!

'general error' when trying to get clip from browser to viewer

I'm trying to put together a short instructional video (a kind of 'quick intro' on what a particular website is all about).
Some clips in the video consist of screen captures (made with iShowU) while others are 'live' from a firewire camcorder.
There's no problem with the camcorder clips. All going according to plan there.
However, *when I try to get the screen grab clips from the browser to the viewer (to mark in/out points, etc), I get a 'general error' message followed in quick succession by an 'out of memory' message*. (I have 8GB ram so I'm sure memory's not the issue.)
I can drag the screen grab clips from the browser directly to a sequence in the timeline, but not to the viewer.
Neither quitting FCP nor logging out (and back in again) fixes the problem. (BTW, I'm working with a PAL setup on the camera and am capturing in PAL dimensions in iShowU, if this has any relevance here.)
I'm tearing my hair out... Maybe it's something very simple that I'm doing wrong? *Any ideas on how I might get the screen grab clips from the browser to the viewer?*

Sounds like iShowU may be writing a less-than-valid QuickTime file.
If you can successfully drag one of these items into the timeline, I'd drag it in and then File->Export->QuickTime Movie... checking the Make Movie Self-Contained box. If this works and you have a lot of clips you might try dragging them all into a timeline and then saving them as one big movie. Sounds like they're not that long so such an approach shouldn't get you into FCP performance problems.
Another approach would be to open each movie in QuickTime and do a Save As... with the "Save as self-contained movie" option.
Either way these will probably write a MOV file that FCP will be happy with.

Anyone else having trouble with the App store today? Trying to take in updates but get a "cannot be completed due to unknown error" huh? I've double/triple checked passwords etc, and they're free updates so I don't get it. Deleted apps and tried to re download, but no go..... Thoughts?

I have some georaster maps which have been uploaded and spatial indexed. However when I run the following command in 10.2.0.2 to get the minimum x MBR ordinate I get the below error message:
