Error when trying to give permissions to users and adding them to the site
Hi,
i'm facing an issue with a public website (SharePoint server 2010) where i can't add any users (windows users) or grant permission for them.
I checked the Authentication Provider for the web application and Windows Authentication NTLM is enabled, the IIS also enable windows authentication for that site.
the issue happens when i go to Site Action --> Site Permission --> Grant Permissions --> I select users after searching for them and once i click OK Exception is appearing.
I check the logs and all i found is:

Note that this happen all of sudden, i was able to add users / groups, users to groups, grant permissions directly but no i can't do none
My website is grating permissions also for Anonymous users and it's working fine
This is production server site so i can't try lots of options unless i'm sure of them
Event viewer is not capturing any error

This could be browser issue, please try adding site in trusted site in browser or try to some other browser like Chrome/Mozilla.
I have faced this issue when I try to access site from server in IE, it get failed on "OK" when adding user.

If you wish to have complete control of all client settings, yes. There really is no disadvantage of using an Advanced configuration other than the learning curve.

That's definitely enough to start.
It sure seems like it should work...and then I saw that you're using a router. It could very well be that the router is the weak link here.
Instead connecting to your network router, try using a direct USB connection from your MBP. If that doesn't work, you read this post, which may be relevant to your problem:

It goes something like this...
Put your new drive in the enclosure. Use Disk Utility to format it, etc. I'd give it a slightly different name than the original. Let's say you have Old Disk and New Disk as your drive names. Use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy Old Disk to New Disk. Now you should have an exact copy, which you can test by rebooting and holding down the Option key. Choose New Disk from the list and let it boot, make sure all is well.
Shut down and physically swap the drives. Take Old Disk and put it in the enclosure. Now your system has a new disk with a lot more space and you can reformat your old disk and just use it for large files or whatever. -
Error when trying to give catalog permissions for AD Users

I have successfully integrated obiee 11.1.1.6.6 with AD. I have two authenticators default authenticator and AD. All the active directory users and weblogic(default authenticator)can successfully login to analytics. I can search them in console too. Problem is when I am trying to assign a report to a user I am getting the below error.

Error when trying to create new single user
When I fill out the "basic", "groups", and "home" sections of single user in Workgroup Manager and then go to click "save" and error pops up ... actually 4 errors. They say:

It then saves the user as "Untitled1". And I have to quit WM and restart it before I can delete "Untitled 1". I have created many successful log-ins. This only happens to two (2) of the log-ins I have tried to create. I know I made some mistake (can't remember exactly what ... think I typed the user name wrong or something) on one of them, but the other was long ago and I don't remember if I did something and then it didn't work, or if it didn't work the first time I tried.
Any other info that would help I would be glad to offer, just let me know what info to gather. Thanks for your help in advance.

Getting an error when trying to go to windows explorer and other programs.
I am having trouble when trying to go to several programs like for instance the Windows explorer, recycle bin, etc. and getting this error: And there is only one program running!!
"There is not free enough memory to run this program. Exit one or more programs,and then try again."
minus the quotes of course!
I called Microsoft and they wanted $100.00 up front and $50-75.00 there after per hour to try and resolve this!
I called TrendMicro, thinking it might be a virus and it was not. They spent 3 hours with me on the phone trying to help me solve this, but they came up with nothing. And they DID NOT charge me anything for all this time and help over the phone. That is one hell of a company that can do that, while a money hunger company called Microsoft would!
If anyone know how or what I need to do to solve this, it is greatly appreciative on my end.

Thanks for answering this and trying to help me with this. I have been dealing with this problem for over 2 weeks and my bald head is getting thinner by the minute!!
The computer is a refurbished one from Toshiba after the main one, kept crashing and they decided to give me a refurbished, step down model. Been having trouble with this also and I fixed the problems it had myself up until this one. I am about a total wreck because of this, but here is the information you wanted!

I am also ticked, because Toshiba has put my working drive to D and the backup files on Drive C. This does not make any sense and why they did it, I do not know!

I'm having this error when I try to remove a blob that was used for a VM in the pass, the VM was already removed and there's nothing using that blob nor even the storage account wh ere the blob is stored.
There is currently a lease on the blob and no lease ID was specified in the request. RequestId:0a441667-0001-0044-7861-bc17ef000000 Time:2014-12-18T15:53:04.5315752Z
I'm trying to delete the blob from the current web interface, and I haven't found a way to specify a lease ID or check what lease could it has.

When you delete a Virtual Machine on the Management Portal, the "Disk" resource used to mount the Virtual Machines VHD is kept.The "Disk" resource is responsible for mounting the blob for the VHD file, so it can be attached to virtual
machines as an OS Disk or Data Disk. It will continue to hold a lease on the blob for as long as it exists.
So you need to delete the "Disk" resource to break the lease on the blob.

Fresh install with all older itunes un-installed as well as other Apple software.
Now cannot get any songs, videos, or even scan library folder for songs to work on the computer.
itunes just simply crashes with no error comments.
This is itunes 10.5 on a Windows 7 Pro system.Same here, though on XP. Have tried cleaning registry, reinstalling, deleting preferences. Created a new user with no library and I have the problem there, too, so it's not the library.
Is there no one to call about this?? -

942: error when trying to browse/refresh Packages, Procedures and Functions
Hi,
I'm using OSD 1.1 against 10g.
I can create and compile functions in a certain schema but when I try to browse the Functions node I get "ORA-00942: table or view does not exist." and the node does not expand.
The same thing happens with the Packages and Procedures nodes.
Does anyone have any ideas?

MikeI've got the same problem with SQL Developer 1.1.0.23.64 against 9.2.0.4.0 and 10.1.0.4.0. This error occured only for a few package/procedure/function owners. I've found that these owners have SELECT ANY TABLE system privilege. In such case SQL Developer generates following SELECT:

So you could try to grant SELECT on DBA_OBJECTS to owner of your functions.
I don't know why SQL Developer doesn't SELECT from ALL_OBJECTS in all cases.

You will need grant SELECT on DBA_SOURCE, too. -
I bought the videos on my old MacBook. I transferred everything to my new MacBook Pro when I bought it. I'm not sure if they didn't transfer correctly or not. Does anybody know how to relocate the files?
