There is a setting there that will limit file size to 2gb. It should NOT be selected.
Also, if the hard drive to which he is writing the file is formatted as MS-DOS, it will break the file into 2gb segments as that is the single file size limit in that format. To solve that issue, he would reformat the drive. This will erase everything on it.
Yes, the disk should be a mac/pc data disk.

Normally there is no problem to open any INDD opening on Windows, when created on the Mac.
But Mac user are often not aware on the naming limitations. A file name must not contain /, \, |, :
It should not contain any extended character, it is not a primary problem but will be, if something links to that file, so avoid also: ÄÖÜäöüß+&
You can use all other non A-Z a-z, 0-9 and - and _
I personally would also recommend to avoid spaces.
This is valid for the INDD file itself but also for all linked content.

I am encountering the same problem -- though with .qfx files from my bank. This worked fine in Firefox 31 ESR, but since upgrading to Firefox 33.0, I get the "<name>.qfx.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read" when I attempt to download. (I should add that downloading PDF statements from the same site works fine, and that the qfx downloads work fine in IE and Chrome.)
I tried safe mode, it is still broken. Tried v34 beta, no luck. I reverted to version 31, it works again.
I guess I will stick with the older version until a solution is found...or just use an alternate browser to download my financial data.

This can occur when the OS locale is set
differently from the database locale. For example, if the OS locale setting is:
LC_CTYPE=en_UK and the
Oracle locale setting is: NLS_LANG=AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8ISO8859P1
then you may see this error. To get around this error, in jserv.properties add
the following line:
wrapper.env.copy=NLS_LANG
Though this is from the note related to 11i, it may help in you in getting to problem

I received an error when trying to open itunes. It said itunes stopped working, so I tried to uninstall and re-install. It let me install it, but when I tried to open it, it gave me the same error message. How can I get itunes back on my laptop (windows).

Did you change your JDK path by any chance? Also you are getting a strange error message. It is trying to point to both D:\OracleBIData\jobmanager and C:\OracleBIData\jobmanager. Is there anything that you changed prior to doing this?

When you say that you erased everything before and after the fulfillmenttoken area, could you be more specific (i.e.did you remove all of the previous content or only the content located in that specific tag?) Runtime error when trying to open an ODS to edit

I'm encountering a Runtime error while trying to open an ODS to move some datafields to keyfields. When data is loaded into that ODS, it is not giving any Runtime error and allowing me to edit the ODS. But anyhow as there is data in that ODS, I couldn't move the datafields into keyfields. Can anyone suggest me what to do..it's urgent.

Hi,
You cannot add add or move fields in ODS if data available in the ODS.
You get runtime error.
It's better to delete data from ODS.
After that activate your all objects of that particular flow.

I created a movie last weekend and everything went fine. Went to start one of the Lessons and kept getting this error "Codec not found. You may be using a compression type without the corresponding hardware card." I have not made any changes to the setup and also tried a re-install but still have the same error. This is using Final Cut Studio 2 on a PowerBook G4. Does anyone have any ideas?

well it usually means exactly what it says, that you are trying to open a movie file for which FCP does not have access to the necessary decoder ... so the question is what movie file? and where did it come from?
