Hii,
We are trying to Schedule Webi report in CMC for Group of Users using SAP authentication(SSO) ,While Trying this we are geting error Unable to Connect to SAP BW server Incomplete Logon Data ..(IES 10901) .
Authorization done at BI side and Its working properly.Users are able to login into BI Launchpad and View Report as per authorization
Some Webi reports are created using BICS connection and some are created using Universe Design Tool (.UNV) which are migrated from BO 3.1 to BO 4.0
Server Status:
BO server and Client Tools-:BO 4.0 SP6
BW System-7.01

This is not really the correct forum to be posting Reports issues. However, if I were to guess, your issue is likely related to the known issues related to installing FMw11R1 on machines which had IPv6 enabled. In most cases, disabling IPv6 would correct the problem, however some issues were not resolved even after disabling IPv6 post-install. I would recommend patching to WLS 10.3.6 and FMw 11.1.1.6 as these versions include fixes for all of those issues as far as I recall.

Error when trying to run web report from BEx analyzer

Hi Gurus,
I am getting this error "STOP: System error in program SAPLRRS2 and form SELOPT_ASSIGN-01", when I am trying to run the report from the 4th button "Display report on Web" on BEx Analyzer. Can anybody tell me what this and how we can resolve it.

Error when trying to schedule a report in infoview

If i try to schedule a report and set the format to PDF and destination to specific email recipients and click the schedule button. i get the following error An error has occurred: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I'm having the same problem in Business Objects 4 BI Launch Pad with reports that were created in CR 2011.
The viewer could not process an event. Error in File Buyer Status:
Encapsulating page failed. []
Error code:0 [CRWEB00000119]
The interesting thing is that I have a test platform where all my reports work correctly. However, all these reports fail with the error message on my production platform.
On the production platform, I can run these reports from CMC without any errors. I suspect that something about my Single Sign-On to database configuration is not correct.
So far, I have been unable to detect any significant differences between the working test platform and the failing production platform.

Logon error when trying to schedule a report

We are using Crystal Reportd 2008 server and designer. The reports has dyanmic parameters which are created in the Business Infoview manager. The Default Database Configuration is set for all reports and can be scheduled sucessfullly most of the time. However, I get the following error randomly:
An error has occurred: The database logon inofrmation for this report is either incomplete or incorrect.
I have made sure that logon inofrmation is correct for the report and Database connnection in Business Infoview manager.
Please advise ASAP as this is impacting users worldwide.

since this is a production critical error I would first to install the latest fixes available for CRS 2008 and see if the problem remainds. In this case I would suggest to open a case by SAP support. Please keep in mind that the described error can be also an indication that there is a problem accessing salesforce.com for your BOBJ server (network connectivity, overload on the salesforce.com side etc).

Error when trying to login to InfoView using SAP credentials

I am working on connecting a Business Objects system with a SAP BW system. I have installed the "Integration Kit for SAP", but when I try to log into InfoView using Authentication = SAP and my SAP credentials, I get the following error:
Failed while trying to obtain the connection provider object for system AD4CLNT100. Unknown entitlement system: AD4CLNT100. Logon cannot proceed.
I tested with a dummy user/pw and I got the same error, which indicates that my SAP user is not recognized by BusinessObjects.
I checked the CMC, and correct the SAP users does not appear (I suppose this should be the case if the users was correctly syncronized?)
My question is, is my suspicion correct, is it the integration of users which has failed? If so, what can I do to fix it?

I ollowed the section "Creating a user account for BusinessObjects Enterprise" when setting up the user and double checked the settings. If the settings are right is that what is required? Or do I need to aply other authorizations? (I am trying to narrow down the possible reasons for not getting more roles).
I have a huge number of roles in SAP which all have users assigned (not directly but nested via profiles etc. but I guess that is okay). None of these are shown in the list of groups.

Hi,
While refreshing the WEBI Reports would recommend you check the WEBI PROCESSING Server's last changed date from CMC--> Servers.
Check when you are refreshing the reports, do you see the time stamp changed of WEBI PROCESSING servers?
Do you keep getting this error messages for all WEBI reports? Can you re-produce this with simple e-fashion reports as well?
After that go to the node where WEBI PROCESSING servers installed and check on the event viewer details if you see any relevant error messages.

Please also try this setting: Windows start menu or Control Panel > '''Devices and Printers''', right-click the printer > '''Printer properties''' > '''Advanced''', and select '''Start printing after the last page is spooled'''. In this case you can also close Firefox after spooling is over (usually much faster than direct printing), and printing will continue.
Also as a general case, if you have security software (antivirus, firewall etc.) installed, you can try deleting all existing instances of Firefox and its related processes/files in all the different configuration modules/areas of the security software like process monitoring, sub/spawned process control, virtualization, HIPS etc., in addition to the security software's main configuration panel. A report that uses tablix returns error when trying to deploy to Report Server 2005

We have some reports that have been built using tablixes, and tested in a 2008 Report Server. When trying to deploy to Report Server 2005 (don't ask why) we get an error saying
The report definition is not valid. Details: The element 'ReportItems' in namespace 'XXXXXX' has invalid child element 'Tablix'
So.. what is the issue? I guess 2005 does not support tablixes.. And we cannot upgrade the server version. So the real question is.. is there a workaround for this to avoid having to remake those reports for 2005??

Unfortunately Microsoft provide upgrade option only, not downgrade .
SSRS 2005 report can be seen in 2008.. but 2008 report cant seen in 2005.
One guy created the utility which is paid, to convert the report from 2008 version to 2005.

Database error when trying to view Crystal Report from InfoView

I am receiving the following error when I try to view or run a Crystal Report from the InfoView. The report is based on an SAP InfoSet.
"Failed to load database information."
The report data can be refreshed with no trouble from within the Crystal Reports designer on my local machine, but the error occurs after it is published to the InfoView. The same error appears when trying to import into Excel using LiveOffice.
Server details:
-Edge 3.1
-Windows 2003 64-bit
-SAP Integration kit installed
Local Crystal Reports machine details:
-Windows XP
-SAP Integration kit installed
-Crystal Reports 2008
My steps to troubleshoot so far:
-Checked Database Logon details in CMC for the report. Username and password are entered correctly.
-Cycled all CrystalReports background services off and on again from the CMC
-Rebooted server
Have I missed anything? Any help would be appreciated.

I want to schedule webi report and send it through email.
I am able to send through email.
here im got stopped how to schedule the report from bw data source . i have to schedule in webi infoview how to give date format in universe the report sholud run for (sysdate-2) daily
eg. today is 02-DEC-2011 if i schedule the report it should run for 30-NOV-2011. iam trying in both BW qyuery and CUBE im not getting how to give date format in
let me knw is there any solutions..
im using XIR3 3.1 sp3

Error when trying to open a report

Hello,
We have installed Oracle Discoverer Desktop on a Windows Vista 32bit following the documents from the oracle support page.
We are able to connect to the database and see all available report but we get a "Program has stopped responding" message when trying to open certain reports.
For other reports it works great.
Do we need to check something in our windows ? Change something in the Discoverer install or in Windows ?

The discoverer version is 10g.
There is nothing special to those reports we can't open. We aren't able to open them just on Windows Vista. They open just fine on a Windows XP.
Also Discoverer Administrator is working OK on the Windows Vista machine.
Is there an Oracle bug listed for this issue ?

Error while trying to open crystal report with SAP B1 8.8

    I found one problem when I open my Crystal Report from SAP B1 8.8 then it gives me error like
   "Failed to retrieve data from database. Details : [Database Vendor Code : 156]"
   This report perfectly work while open in crystal report outside from SAP.

I face the exactly same problem, please forgive if i am not suppose to ask the same question in other people thread.
I am using SAP 8.8, PL09, SQL Server 2005, the Crystal Report is working perfectly after import into SAP B1.
However, when i do the same configuration in my customer server, the error message prompt:
Failed to retrieve data from the database.
Detail: [Database Vendor Code: 156]

The server is using SAP 8.8, PL09, with SQL Server 2008.
Could it be some setting require for SQL Server 2008?
