Error when unning the report in bex.

Hi All
I have data in multi provider , based on multi provider there is some reports is there,
when i run one report it run sucess fully
but while running the another report it gives below warning
warning Hierarchy 0RGEH in version 000 was not found for key data 20090224.
when i click ok then it give below error message
Abort system error in program Cl_Rs_Base and form Get_Max_Timestmp-01-
Abort system error in program saplrrko and form INITIALIZE_DATA_ACCESS-01
any body know about this problem plz help me

Hi,
the message implies that the hierarchy from ur info object 0RGEH is not in active state.
please check whether u have the hierarchy loaded correctly in the back end for this info object, if not load the hierarchy and then try to execute the report.

Samriddhi,
Genarally its not suggested to transport Queries. Should be able to create Queries directly Production. There might be diferences between your Development and Production versions.

Hi All,
I am facing a peculiar problem while executing an infoset query.I have created 2 customized fields Compa-ratio and PIR in infotype 0008 in an infoset.I have coded in these additional fields.
When I execute a query using 1 of these customized fields the report is generated correctly.But when I put both the fields in the output the report shows an error "Error when generating the report (see long text)". The message# associated with this errAQ_AD_HOC221.
I have also checked the data types and the references. Nothing seems to be wrong here.
Does anybody has any clue about this ?

Hi Bernd,
I had a look at those notes. But the information provided did'nt prove to be helpful. I found out the problem. I was using the same local variable for both the fields in their code. This generated the error. This error is a very generic one and does'nt help in finding out what exactly is the problem.
I changed the other local variable and it started working. When I was using the same variable that time I did'nt forget to clear the values but the query still generated the error.

Error when selecting the Report Center tab of the Issues web DB

I started a DB from the Issues web DB template. Everything worked fine when I shutdown last night, but this morning I started receiving the following error when selecting the Report Center tab.
You must specify an object for the BrowseTo to open. I have noticed that the ReportCenterDefault form no longer displays. How do I correct this?

Invalid Year error when refreshing the report with date prompt

Hi All,
I am working on BO XI 3.1 with Informix database.
When refreshing the report without any date prompt the report is running fine,but when applying the date prompt it is giving the error message
"Invalid year in the date".
I have tried changing the value in the advance tab of the object property to 'yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss'
But it also din't work for me.
Please suggest.

Since changing the PRM file was not a fesiable solution for us.
We have manged to find a work around to solve this issue
We have created the filters at universe level with following formula for all the date objects which we ere using at report level as a prompt:
@Select(classname\objectname)=TO_DATE(@Prompt('Enter Date:','D',,mono,free,not_persistent), '%Y/%m/%d')
Although when we parse this formula it wil give an error message saying 'illigle operation',
still it will work when we use this at report level.

Error is coming when executing the report in bex

hai experts,
any body help me in this matter.
when i execute the qurey in bex its showing error message coming with popup box.
Error is showing like this.
"no value found"
" Exception 1 when calling WB_HTML_HELP_URL_GEToccured"
but when i click on "OK" button its showing result.can any body tell me why its showing error message like this .

you default method is WEB so its useing URl to open the results, change the setting to use analyzer(XLS) and update your GUI Front End patch.

Error when executing a report in Bex analyzer"

Hi all ,
when I am executing a report in Bex analyzer and selecting a hierrachy and execute the report it is giving an error " in Program CL_RSR_RRKO_HIERARCHY and Form SEL_TO_SELDR_EQSID.Any reason for this.

Hi,
go to RSSM and give your infoprovider name and check the authrization objects which are present in the infoprovider ...it will have option ticked.
Basically authorizations are based on company code or sales org.
give that authorization object in the first option in RSSM and check on which infoobject it is based.
Also you can give your user id in one of the option in this transaction RSSM and then you can check for that authorization object do you have any values present for the included infoobjects or not.
You will not have those values entry here in the authorization object for those selections which you are giving during the report run.
Just change the vales here and give the desired value for which you are running the report.
Save it.

Error when running the report

hello,
i am running a report, which has three parameters begin date, end date and dept full name.
for example when i am running the report with following parameter's works fine they are 01/01/2002, 02/02/2002 and dept name is Animal Control.
but when i am running the report with the following parameters its giving problem i.e.
01/01/2002, 02/02/2002 and dept name is Mayor's office its not running the report says command line syntax error rep-0159.
in the database the dept name is Like Mayor's office.
i dont know how to convert the apostrophe to a string or what ever, to get the report.
this is production problem.
please do help me out.

Hello!
I guess you are running your report using rwrun60.exe, probably in batch mode.
In such cases string parameter with single quote inside of it should be passed in a such way: rwrun60 ... paramname3='Mayor''s office' ...
In Reports 6.0.8.11.3 it works fine.
No problems at all if you are calling report from the Forms using run_product built-in and passing prameter list into the report.

Crystal reports and SAP BI--------BAPI error when executing the report

Hi All,
I am getting a problem accessing the data from the SAP BI system into the crystal reports.I created a report in CR2008 on a query built in SAP BI.When I execute this query,I am getting the following error.
Database Connection Error:'BAPI Error #:0
Error Occured when starting the parser:timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL:'ThSAPCMRCV"
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME OUT Please.

Are you running OBIEE on Windows? Your UNC path is probably set on the instanceconfig.xml Presentation Services config file. It would seem that your network share, your network or something in between fails intermentely causing OBIEE to be unable to write to the catalog. I would suggest trying to move your Catalog to another network share more reliable to have your network administrators confirm there are no network issues affecting your box.

The reports are coming from BI, so do you have a BI enviromment with the extractors from CRM pulling the data ........

Error when calling the report on server?

We have a .NET application on the server and we want to call a crystal report (.rpt) from one of the forms (.NET aspx page). We are getting below error. The report works fine on the desktop where it is developed. Please let us know if there is any specific process to move the reports to server. Any help is appreciated.
The report is developed in Crystal Reports 2008 and we are using Visual Studio 2005. We are using Crystal Report Viewer control to call / associate the report developed.
Error message,
An error has occurred while attempting to load the Crystal Reports runtime. Either the Crystal Reports registry key permissions are insufficient, or the Crystal Reports runtime is not installed correctly. Please install the appropriate Crystal Reports redistributable (CRRedist*.msi) containing the correct version of the Crystal Reports runtime (x86, x64, or Itanium) required. Please go to http://www.businessobjects.com/support for more information.

Hi,
Have you install the runtime files of CR 2008 on server, if not then install it from [here|http://resources.businessobjects.com/support/additional_downloads/runtime.asp#08].
Download according to the service pack applied on CR 2008.
Also ensure that you are at service pack 1 level of CR 2008 as its a latest service pack available for CR 2008.

Error when scheduling the report

hello:
I have a workbook when i schedule it, it gives me the following error
ORA-04063: Package body "SYSTEM.EUL5_BATCH_USER" has errors ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called: "SYSTEM.EUL5_BATCH_USER" ORA-06512: at line 2
The only thing i can find familiar in the above error is that SYSTEM is the name of my EUL
Please anybody help ASAP

then I provided the EUL owner name and password it went ok...but the what to do next...
I have an EUL in which i have a work book which contains worksheets I want to schedule them but after all this i was not able to schedule them...
I must also tell you that I am the administrator...

I have Built a query and when i run i get the selection screen and when i enter value and execute i am getting the following error "Not authorised to run report".

If there is a anuthrization object in the infoprovider on which report was build, make sure you have the * access for that infoobjects.
If you are using BI 7 go to t code rsecadmin and check what are infoobject available which is authrization enebled
and then check they are used in you infoprovider. and u have that access or not.
If you dont have the access create one authrization object for that object and ask basis to assign the authrizaion object to S_RS_AUTH

Error when using the report context menu option Goto - Documents

Hi gurus,
I'm doing some report tests via Analyzer and when a try to use de context menu option "Goto -> Documents" and try to create a new document, the following errors occur:
"CANNOT GET THE FOLDER FOR ASSIGNMENT"
"ERROR WHILE LAUNCHING NEW DOCUMENT DIALOG"
I'm using the nw2004s version. Could someone help me out?

We are also having the same problem with 2004s SP9 and SP10.
1. All the 0TCA* are active.
2. Super admin role is assigned.
But still getting the above three errors. Somebody who have overcome this problem please share the corresponding changes to be made in KM Configuration
