What do you mean what kind of updater am I using?
Presumably you're trying to do that update with some sort of optical disc.  What color is that disc?  Is it a retail, white Snow Leopard disc, or is a gray "system restore" disc.  If the latter, you can't use one of those on a Mac of a different model than the model that it was intended for.
How do you run diagnostics?
To run diagnostics, try booting with command and "D" keys held down.  If that doesn't run the diagnostics, try booting with the "D" key held down.  (Apologies for being vague.  I can't find Apple's documentation on how to do that.)  Once in the diagnostics, run then several times.

    CJS-20060 error when upgrading SAP WEBAS640 SPS12
Posted: Oct 20, 2005 10:21 AM        Reply      E-mail this post
    Hi,
I am trying to upgrade my current EP6.0 SPS10 environment to SPS12. But right now, I can't even get the sapinst to go past this one error after entering the path to the Java Cryptography Extension. After entering the path and clicking next, I get the following error message.
    ERROR 2005-10-20 09:45:09
CJS-20060 <html>You entered the instance number 0 on host tp1 for the JC instance.<p>In the SAP system TP1, an JC instance exists already with the instance number 00 on host wsawd03q.</html>
We are currently running Portal on an HA Environment. The SCS instance was installed on host sapgrp. The CI instance was installed on wsawd03q. I am currently upgrading the CI instance. I've tried using the SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME but it did not work and I don't believe its relevant because my CI does not use a virtual host name.
Please assist with this issue. Thank you very much in advance.
    Regards,
    Kiet Tran

    Hi,
This is a known problem which I think will be fixed in future versions of sapinst.
What you need to do is to move the profile files of the other system from /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profiles , to a temporary location untill the installation starts. You can then start the installation and move the files back at the same time.
Basically, sapinst doesn't truely realize that you are installing on a virtual host, and therefore believes there is a conflict
PS you must use the SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME parameter if you have a virtual host.
    Cheers
    Dagfinn

Thank you.  That solved my same problem as well.
But on my screen the text scrolled  by so fast that i could barely read it and I could not scroll up to read the beginning.
how can I pipe the output so that it does not scroll so fast.  i thought this was the "less" command but when i typed:
    less pacman -Syu
    or
    pacman -Syu less
I got errors in syntax.  I am a noob coming from 1 year using Ubuntu.  I have worked thru many errors to get this far in the install.
The forums where down so I was on my own and had to use trial and error and the beginner wiki.  im glad now forums back online because i never woould have figured out this klibc error on my own.

There are more detailed logs for the various components. The one of interesting is the one for the engine or possibly the one for full-text.
These logs are extremely verbose, and the errors are rarely crystal clear, but at least give them a try. If you have problems, find a place to upload them (Dropbox, Skrydrive etc), so that we can look.
The closest at hand is that "group" that cannot be found is an AD group.

  • Windows Installer error when upgrading to Itunes 8.01

I receive the following error when trying to install Itunes 8.01 on my Windows XP Service Pack 3 system:
"There is a problem with the Windows Installer Package - A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor"
The upgrade fails and reverts back to the previous version of Itunes.
I tried re-installing windows installer and it is current. All other programs install without issues but Itunes does not install.

I tried the repair option on Itunes - ran it successfully, turned off Norton AV auto protect temporarily then immediately tried running the setup again on Version 8.01 and get the same error.
I have not yet uninstalled version 7 of Itunes on my system followed by running the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to completely remove Itunes from the system.
This issue to date has not been resolved yet but need to try the cleanup option.

  • Runtime error when Upgrading from 8.81 pl05 to 8.81 pl08

    Hello experts,
When upgrading 8.81 PL05 to 8.81 PL08, I encounter a runtime error concerning a Microsoft C++ Runtime Library. the text in the error box is "Runtime Error ! Program : D... R6025 -pure virtual function call. "
This error occured after the database check, the server tools and the common data base upgrades have already succeded. So at the end of the  production database upgrade after each the databases have been upgraded, at the precise moment of Cost Center upgrades the upon descipted error occurs.
What could be the origin of this error ? What should I do in order to upgrades in PL08 ?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
    Sébastien TABORE

    Hello
I have the same issue and i would try with the possible solution but the link doesn´t exists anymore.
I received the same Error  (Run Time Error program R-6025 pre virtual
function call.) At the moment it appears only when i make a search e.g. for the todays Outgoing Payments (around 60 registers) on the OVPM table.
But i'm affraid that could be appear more often or inside another transaction like invoices or sales order which are very important to us.

We are tunning 1.4.0.00.21b. We downloaded 1.4.1 release from htmldb.oracle.com. The install.sql script ran fine. When we ran the upgrade.sql script to upgradfe our flows we see this:

i'm pretty sure you're getting that wwv_flow_upgrade error because that particular procedure call is case sensitive. if you enter the names of your respective schemas with the proper cases, i bet things will work out for you. our upgrade.sql script should be pretty smart about picking up the schemas involved, so you might just want to select the correctly-cased options it provides.
    hope this helps,

  • Config.msi error when upgrading to ITunes10.1.2

When updgrading to ITunes10.1.2 I receive, "Error writing to file: D:\Config.Msi\a78ee.rbf. Verify that you have access to that directory."
Knowing I have admin rights to my PC, what could be the problem?
I tried downloading and installing at the same time. I tried downloading and then installing manually. I tried uninstalling the current ITunes version first and still got the error when uninstalling the current version, which I had no problem upgrading to in 2010.
    Thanks

Just looking at the Error shows JVM ran out of memory.
Can you adjust the jvm heap size and try starting IM server again ??
Add property in iim.conf file, eg. iim.jvm.maxmemorysize=512m ( Its in MB )

  • Fix for 1013 error when upgrading to 4.2

The link below was actually posted to fix another error, but it worked just fine to fix the 1013 error I was having when upgrading to 4.2.

    STEVE

Do you have iTunes 10.1 on your PC? You need 10.1 in order to install iOS 4.2.1 on your Touch. If you already have 10.1 then maybe temporarily disable any firewall and/or anti-virus software on your computer.

Error occurs with the following message.
"Dashboard Packages: The entry already exists in the following table.(ODBC -2035)"
The company already had passed the pretest for upgrading 8.82, but failed in reality during upgrade.
Did anyone have experienced this kind of thing?

    Hi.........
I guess this is because of Xcelcius Package activated at Integration Component.
    Please try this.
Go to Start> Programs> Integration Framework for SAP B1> Login> Scenarios--> Control and deactivate sap.Xcelcius.
    And then try to upgrade.......
    Hope this will help you.......

Authorization Failed. No sufficient privilegesIf you are getting this error when you are downloading the firmware from the Cisco website then it means that your CCO login does not have sufficient priviledges to do so.  You'll need to talk to the vendor who sold you the controllers to either give you the Service Contract necessary to download the firmware or give you the firmware.

I find in the SAP notes that this is a reported bug in the JRC application.

My question is - Does anyone know when is this bug scheduled to be fixed and released?
    Thanks,
