    CJS-20060 error when upgrading SAP WEBAS640 SPS12
Posted: Oct 20, 2005 10:21 AM        Reply      E-mail this post
    Hi,
I am trying to upgrade my current EP6.0 SPS10 environment to SPS12. But right now, I can't even get the sapinst to go past this one error after entering the path to the Java Cryptography Extension. After entering the path and clicking next, I get the following error message.
    ERROR 2005-10-20 09:45:09
CJS-20060 <html>You entered the instance number 0 on host tp1 for the JC instance.<p>In the SAP system TP1, an JC instance exists already with the instance number 00 on host wsawd03q.</html>
We are currently running Portal on an HA Environment. The SCS instance was installed on host sapgrp. The CI instance was installed on wsawd03q. I am currently upgrading the CI instance. I've tried using the SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME but it did not work and I don't believe its relevant because my CI does not use a virtual host name.
Please assist with this issue. Thank you very much in advance.
    Regards,
    Kiet Tran

    Hi,
This is a known problem which I think will be fixed in future versions of sapinst.
What you need to do is to move the profile files of the other system from /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profiles , to a temporary location untill the installation starts. You can then start the installation and move the files back at the same time.
Basically, sapinst doesn't truely realize that you are installing on a virtual host, and therefore believes there is a conflict
PS you must use the SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME parameter if you have a virtual host.
    Cheers
    Dagfinn

  • An error when registering SQL server driver

    Hi
I have got the following error when register SQL server drive
"RemoteMsDataBase.java": Error #: 302 : cannot access class com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver; neither class nor source found for com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver at line 19, column 63

To include jars to my classpath do this:

  • Previous version of an application will be deleted(replaced) when upgrading to a newer version ?

As the subject clearly states: what happens to old version of an app when upgraded to a newer version ?
does it works like the iphone app.. the old will be replaced with the newer or does the application file keep all the files including previous things?
If so, is it better to restore macbook pro rarely ?
    thanx a lot

The old version is uninstalled and the new version is installed.
I can't think of a reason to ever do a restore other than before selling it.
Even for a failed and replaced hard disk I would reload from my most recent backup.

  • Error when exporting to hard-drive

Lightroom 4 was working fine before I tried to export to Flickr.  The export was NOT successful, and after that, I encountered an error when exporting to hard drive.  Although this error appears, the export to hard drive is always successuful.  It is annoying to continuously receive this error message.  Any help will be much appreciated.  Thanks

That is the small trouble with screenshots: as unambiguous and helpful as they are they are hard to search for their content.
But it looks identical to several other posts here (http://forums.adobe.com/message/4341436#4341436, http://forums.adobe.com/message/4318154#4318154, http://forums.adobe.com/message/4285253#4285253, http://forums.adobe.com/message/4261252#4261252, http://forums.adobe.com/message/4177871#4177871):
In your export manager select "Do nothing" i.o. leaving it blank. down at the bottom where it asks for what to do in Post Processing After Export.
This should have the message go away.
For the sake of searchability I spell out the error message, so that others could find this being answered:
    Unable to Export:
An internal error has occurred: Win32 API error 2 ("The system cannot find the file specified.") when calling ShellExecuteExW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute.

  • HT1926 I keep getting an msvcr80.dll error when trying to download newest version of iTunes.

I keep getting an msvcr80.dll error when trying to download newest version of iTunes.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Thank you.  That solved my same problem as well.
But on my screen the text scrolled  by so fast that i could barely read it and I could not scroll up to read the beginning.
how can I pipe the output so that it does not scroll so fast.  i thought this was the "less" command but when i typed:
    less pacman -Syu
    or
    pacman -Syu less
I got errors in syntax.  I am a noob coming from 1 year using Ubuntu.  I have worked thru many errors to get this far in the install.
The forums where down so I was on my own and had to use trial and error and the beginner wiki.  im glad now forums back online because i never woould have figured out this klibc error on my own.

Believe it or not, it was the FireWire drive that was the problem! I managed to successfully install Windows 7 using an external USB DVD drive!
Well I am truly staggered, I have tried this on two different MacBook Pros, with three different external USB optical drives. Don't know if you googled as I suggested but you would find hundreds of others who have found same thing. The exception is MacBook Air which works with the Apple writer, but I don't know much about this.
Were you doing any of the special workarounds with refedit etc?
    What model USB DVD drive?

  • It generates an error when trying to import a version apex 4.0 production.

It generates an error when trying to import a version 4 application to production. The copy was made as an apex 4 EA 2, (I have backups of different times in July). The error:
    ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-06550: line 4, column 1: PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'CREATE_PAGE_ITEM' ORA-06550: line 4, column 1: PL/SQL: Statement ignored &lt;pre&gt;declare h varchar2(32767) := null; begin wwv_flow_api.create_page_item( p_id=&amp;gt;298101103038895115 + wwv_flow_api.g_id_offset, p_flow_id=&amp;gt; wwv_flow.g_flow_id, p_flow_step_id=&amp;gt; 45, p_name=&amp;gt;'P45_PRODUCTBACKLOG'

This is the response that sends the team apex.
Production is very different than our EA versions. On our EA site, we explicitly stated that an export from there may not work against 4.0. From your error, it looks as if the create_page_item procedure changed between EA2 and production. The only recommendation is to take an export from production and compare the statements used for create_page_item. If you can update your EA export to match the new format, you might be able to import but again, that action is unsupported.

  • Error when upgrading to version 6

i recently got a replacement ipod (15gb) and was told to upgrade itunes and the ipod updater before attempting to add music to it, when i tried to download the latest version of itunes i was told - 'Some installation files are corrupt. Please download a fresh copy and try again.' So i did this and ijust kept getting the same message. Also when i downloaded the latest version of the ipod updater i was told - 'ipod manager internal error.' Appreciate any help anyone has to offer.
    thanks

Ok when you get the option to run or save it, what do you do? It sounds like you are trying to run it. Make sure when doing an installation that you turn off firewalls/virus/pop-up blockers/web accelerators.
Repost if this doesn't help you.

  • Error when upgrading to newer versions of iTunes

I currently have version 7.1.1.5 of iTunes installed on my windows PC. I have tried numerous times to install the upgraded recently 7.3 version without any luck.
Evrytime I double click on the executable file, it starts the install but then stops and tells me that it can't find the specified drive to install to. I've upgraded to a newer hdd less than 6 months ago and have named them differently. Why wouldn't iTunes let me CHOOSE where I would like to install it to instead of assuming that everyone will be downloading and installing to "C" drive or anything else? Is there any way around this?
I am unable to upgrade b/c it is looking to install to my "J" drive which is a drive I no longer have!!
    Please help

    "Invalid Drive J:\"
I haven't had a drive labeled J since my last hdd died. I've since upgraded and changed the name to "C" drive. My iTunes is installed on my K drive which is my external hdd that connects via USB

I find in the SAP notes that this is a reported bug in the JRC application.
SAP Note 1416845 - JRC application throws "Unexpected database connector" error
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_dev/sap%28bd1lbizjptawmq==%29/bc/bsp/spn/scn_bosap/notes%7B6163636573733d36393736354636443646363436353344333933393338323636393736354637333631373036453646373436353733354636453735364436323635373233443330333033303331333433313336333833343335%7D.do
My question is - Does anyone know when is this bug scheduled to be fixed and released?

  • "Not in a transaction" errors when using Oracle Thin Driver 9.0.1 with Weblogic 6.1

Within a Tx data source by administered by Weblogic, I receive these

    Humphrey,
Support of a feature means that it's gone though the full QA and
PM approval cycle and it has been officially declared as supported.
Feature may work well even if it's not supported. It just means you use
    it at your own risk.

According to the BEA documentation, this version of the driver is not
supported due to "Known Issues" - does anyone know of what these
issues are, perhaps there's a list somewhere?
This is particularly strange since another document from BEA at
    http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs61/jdbc/thirdparty.html does mention how
to upgrade the driver to 9.0.1, with no mention of any problems.

  • Windows Installer error when upgrading to Itunes 8.01

I receive the following error when trying to install Itunes 8.01 on my Windows XP Service Pack 3 system:
"There is a problem with the Windows Installer Package - A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor"
The upgrade fails and reverts back to the previous version of Itunes.
I tried re-installing windows installer and it is current. All other programs install without issues but Itunes does not install.

I tried the repair option on Itunes - ran it successfully, turned off Norton AV auto protect temporarily then immediately tried running the setup again on Version 8.01 and get the same error.
I have not yet uninstalled version 7 of Itunes on my system followed by running the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to completely remove Itunes from the system.
This issue to date has not been resolved yet but need to try the cleanup option.
