Error when upgrading to SAP B1 8.82
When upgrading a company database from SAP B1 8.81 PL09 to 8.82 PL03,
Error occurs with the following message.
"Dashboard Packages: The entry already exists in the following table.(ODBC -2035)"
The company already had passed the pretest for upgrading 8.82, but failed in reality during upgrade.
Did anyone have experienced this kind of thing?
Hi.........
I guess this is because of Xcelcius Package activated at Integration Component.
Please try this.
Go to Start> Programs> Integration Framework for SAP B1> Login> Scenarios--> Control and deactivate sap.Xcelcius.
And then try to upgrade.......
Hope this will help you.......

Rahul

Code Page Error When Upgrading to SAP BW SP15
Hello all.
We are upgrading from SAPBW SP12 to SAP BW SP15. We have already successfully implemented Unicode. When we run InfoPackages now, we get the following error:
======================================
Could not find code page for receiving system
Diagnosis
For the logical destination S10010 , you want to determine the code page
in which the data is sent with RFC. However, this is not currently
possible, and the IDoc cannot yet be dispatched.
System response
Procedure
Procedure for System Administration
Possible causes are:
1. The entry no longer exists in the table of logical destinations.
2. The target system could not be accessed.
3. The logon language is not installed in the target system.
========================================
We are not getting any short dumps. Just this error message. HAs anyone seen this before? Do you know of a SAP Note or Solution that addresses it? I appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks,
Brenthi Brent,
try to check the S10010 source system, rsa1->source system->righ click 'check'. also check the connection and authorization for S10010 in sm59 ? you may need to restore, source system S10010 right click 'restore'. hope this helps. -

CJS-20060 error when upgrading SAP WEBAS640 SPS12
Posted: Oct 20, 2005 10:21 AM Reply E-mail this post
Hi,
I am trying to upgrade my current EP6.0 SPS10 environment to SPS12. But right now, I can't even get the sapinst to go past this one error after entering the path to the Java Cryptography Extension. After entering the path and clicking next, I get the following error message.
ERROR 2005-10-20 09:45:09
CJS-20060 <html>You entered the instance number 0 on host tp1 for the JC instance.<p>In the SAP system TP1, an JC instance exists already with the instance number 00 on host wsawd03q.</html>
We are currently running Portal on an HA Environment. The SCS instance was installed on host sapgrp. The CI instance was installed on wsawd03q. I am currently upgrading the CI instance. I've tried using the SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME but it did not work and I don't believe its relevant because my CI does not use a virtual host name.
Please assist with this issue. Thank you very much in advance.
Regards,
Kiet TranHi,
This is a known problem which I think will be fixed in future versions of sapinst.
What you need to do is to move the profile files of the other system from /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profiles , to a temporary location untill the installation starts. You can then start the installation and move the files back at the same time.
Basically, sapinst doesn't truely realize that you are installing on a virtual host, and therefore believes there is a conflict
PS you must use the SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME parameter if you have a virtual host.
Cheers

Thank you. That solved my same problem as well.
But on my screen the text scrolled by so fast that i could barely read it and I could not scroll up to read the beginning.
how can I pipe the output so that it does not scroll so fast. i thought this was the "less" command but when i typed:
less pacman -Syu
or
pacman -Syu less
I got errors in syntax. I am a noob coming from 1 year using Ubuntu. I have worked thru many errors to get this far in the install.
The forums where down so I was on my own and had to use trial and error and the beginner wiki. im glad now forums back online because i never woould have figured out this klibc error on my own. -
Error after upgrading from sap b1 pl 35 to pl 49
hello sap experts
iam getting the following error after upgrading from sap b1 pl 35 to pl 49 this error is coming if we have given round off or discount in the below cell
"Discount deviates from authorised ranges (sales oreder-discount%for document) [message 439-15] pls make it as soon as possible an i will be thankful to those guys .
regards
JennyHello Jenny,
You may check by supreuser account first to see if you got the same error. If not, it probably just related to user authorization. If yes, it must be a bug.
Thanks,

Unexpected database connector error when upgraded to the JRC 12.2.208
Hi,
My reports were working fine when using the CR viewers 11 SDK. In order to use print from the server functionality, I upgraded to JRC 12.2.208. Since then I am getting the following exception. Please help. Thanks!

Runtime error when Upgrading from 8.81 pl05 to 8.81 pl08
Hello experts,
When upgrading 8.81 PL05 to 8.81 PL08, I encounter a runtime error concerning a Microsoft C++ Runtime Library. the text in the error box is "Runtime Error ! Program : D... R6025 -pure virtual function call. "
This error occured after the database check, the server tools and the common data base upgrades have already succeded. So at the end of the production database upgrade after each the databases have been upgraded, at the precise moment of Cost Center upgrades the upon descipted error occurs.
What could be the origin of this error ? What should I do in order to upgrades in PL08 ?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Sébastien TABOREHello
I have the same issue and i would try with the possible solution but the link doesn´t exists anymore.
I received the same Error (Run Time Error program R-6025 pre virtual
function call.) At the moment it appears only when i make a search e.g. for the todays Outgoing Payments (around 60 registers) on the OVPM table.
But i'm affraid that could be appear more often or inside another transaction like invoices or sales order which are very important to us.

Hello,
We need some help because we get 'Portal Runtime error: iView: N/A Component Name:N/A' error when trying to access portal logon screen.
This is what we've done:
We've modified com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par file and we've uploaded it but it doesn't work. Because of the error, we've overwritten this file with the original one but now it's imposible to access portal.
The situation it seems to be like before the modification of the .par file but we get the same error and can't access portal.
Please, do you know what could be the problem?
Thanks in advanceHi Belen,
Here are the steps you would need to take
1. import the original par file into the NWDS and name the project as
com.sap.portal.runtime.logon
2. Make sure the project name is com.sap.portal.runtime.logon
3. use winzip/winrar to extract the com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par file in
a local directory
4.Under the lib you would find two jar files copy them and paste them in your project
under dist>PORTAL-INF>lib directory
5.move the files cert....till umResetPass....jsp into the PORTAL-INF directory
6. export the par to the server in question
7. restart your server
This should solve your problem..
Thanks,

Best regards,
Guiga HafedhThere are more detailed logs for the various components. The one of interesting is the one for the engine or possibly the one for full-text.
These logs are extremely verbose, and the errors are rarely crystal clear, but at least give them a try. If you have problems, find a place to upload them (Dropbox, Skrydrive etc), so that we can look.
The closest at hand is that "group" that cannot be found is an AD group.

Windows Installer error when upgrading to Itunes 8.01
I receive the following error when trying to install Itunes 8.01 on my Windows XP Service Pack 3 system:
"There is a problem with the Windows Installer Package - A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor"
The upgrade fails and reverts back to the previous version of Itunes.
I tried re-installing windows installer and it is current. All other programs install without issues but Itunes does not install.I tried the repair option on Itunes - ran it successfully, turned off Norton AV auto protect temporarily then immediately tried running the setup again on Version 8.01 and get the same error.
I have not yet uninstalled version 7 of Itunes on my system followed by running the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to completely remove Itunes from the system.
This issue to date has not been resolved yet but need to try the cleanup option. -
