Error when uploading a tif file

Hi All,
I want to upload a file in tif format.i am having the file with tiff format.
when i upload through se78 /import and given the file name as c:\CCNA- Puerto Rico Region Logo.
But it is showing the following error.

Hi,
Up loading tiff fife first activate rstxldmc program .
excute the program give ur logo name.
In se71 u can include that object , id, macrc or something (these are comes after excute the program give ur logo name)

Error when Uploading _fmb.xml files

I'm a newbie in Apex. I'm trying to create a migration project (ie migrating Oracle Forms 6i/10g to xml via Apex). I've converted the *.fmb files to _fmb.xml using frmf2xml.bat utility. My problem is when I tried to upload the _fmb.xml, this error appears:
+1 error has occurred+
+•Select the Forms File you want to upload. For Forms Modules, upload the XML file which is generated by the Forms2XML conversion tool, containing the information of your Forms Module. (Go to error)+
the error message is - javascript:apex.jQuery('#P3_FORMS_XML_FILE').focus();void(0)
the url returns: http://localhost:8080/apex/wwv_flow.accept
I've also tried to upload any type of file but it still returns the same error message. Please, anyone can help me...

when i tried the online workspace as in http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/, i successfully created the migration project. But still failed to do it locally. Obviosly my locally setup Apex is having problem uploading the _fmb.xml files. Where have i gone wrong? Could anyone please help me?

Yes, if you upload an image on a normal Oracle Apex Database its stored in the DB.
But, if you remember, when you configire apex you specify an images directory /i/.
Under this directory you will find all the images that apex uses as well as css files, etc.
If you place your image in this directory you can reference it my modifying the appropriate stylesheet/template.
So, for example, you cna place your own stylesheets in the appropriate directory on the server.

When i try to click on the "Preview" button, this errors appear:

did you define the file in step 7 without any error and allocate in step 8 without any error before?
I mean in the same system where you execute the read step.
Make sure you have the file not open when you execute the read step.

If the Sy-Subrc is 0 then Success,
Sy-SUBRC is 4 then failure,
Sy-SUBRC = 6 then the user might be not access to read the file.
This is due to authorization issue.

we just have upgraded our EREC system to Enhancement Package 4, and we have now lot's of issues when the candidates try to upload documents in their cockpit. Even if the type of document is ok or the file size is fine also, there is the following error message : Error when uploading; the file name is invalid, or the file is too big
We have this error with lot's of web browser : IE6-IE7-IE8-Firefox 2.xx-Firefox 3.6-Safari 3 and 4-Chrome
It is impossible to debug this error, there is no stop at the breakpoints.
Did anyone have any suggestion ?

we already put an external breakpoint on the first step of the method called by the button, but it does not stop on this breakpoint.
It looks like the error message is generated by javascript or is in the cache, but it is not possible to find where.

You can upload logo using SE78 or using program RSTXLDMC
or by using OAER
Steps for uploading Logo :-:
1. Goto the transaction OAER
2. Enter the class name as 'PICTURES'
3. Enter the class type as 'OT'
4. Enter the object key as the name of the logo you
wish to give
5. Execute
6. Then in the new screen select Standard doc. types
in bottom window
Click on the Screen icon
Now, it will ask for the file path where you have
to upload the logo
7. Now you can use this logo
To create a logo in SAP printouts just do the following
1. Save a Logo using Imaging, Paint shop Pro or Corel Draw as Tiff file.
2. Run program RSTXLDMC and enter the following parameters
Enter file name C:\COMPLOGO.TIF
UOM CM
Line width for text 132
Text name ZHEX-MACRO-COMPLOGO
Text ID ST
Text language = E
Number of Tiff gray levels (2,4,9) 2
3. Then Create a new window 'COMP' with attributes;
Window COMP description Company Logo
Left margin 7.00 CH window width 10.00 CH
Upper margin LN window height 8.00 LN
Finally in the text element, mention
/: INCLUDE 'ZHEX-MACRO-COMPLOGO' OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE 'E'.
Please note that if object name is not indicated as 'ZHEX... the logo may not be printed!
You will not be able to see the logo in a test print. The same will be printed in actual printout.
SMARTFORM
1) In Smart Forms Editor, In left pane, right Click any Page (say Page1) and select Create -> Window, Give it a name and Description (Say Window1)
2) Right Click on Window (Window 1) and select Create -> Graphics, Give it a name and description
3) In general Attributes, Select Name, get search help (F4) , you will find a list of pictures
4) Select any picture and set its Resolution in DPI
5) Press F9 to open Smart Forms Builder, Select window (Window1) and In Output options window set, size and position of the Logo
6) Set any other parameters if required, save and activate.
7) If there is only 1 Window in the forms, set it as Main Window in general attributes.
8) Use TCode SE78 to upload new pictures and logos.

I got a requirement that converting smartform into pdf file and sending into application server, And uploading the that pdf file into presentation server once a day am geting error when uploading into pdf format from application server .
Error : There was an error while tryinging to parse an image.
Please help me out its urgent.

If you are actually creating a BDC to load data pls be more specific.
Data format incorrect. Tab delimited/ etc
Dates in wrong formats
Currency incorrect formats
Missing screens
Wrong transaction code
File not found,
Missing Mandatory fields,
Screen resoultion.
You should always use refresh for your Bdcdata table.
Loop at internal table.
refresh Bdcdata.

FM GUI_UPLOAD gives PC036 "Error when opening the download file".

Dear all
I'm having a problem with a particular PC.
A program which calls FM GUI_UPLOAD gives the error PC036 "Error when opening the download file".
The file we are trying to upload is a text file, with tab delimiter.
If the same user executes the same program from another PCs, it works fine.
If another user executes the program in the "problematic" PC, it gives the error.
So, the problem is PC-related.
I checked SAP GUI Codepage, and was the same as other PCs.
I cheched regional configuration, and was also the same as other PCs.
The operating system is Windows XP, and the SAP GUI version is 7.10, File version 7100.2.7.3077, Build 967944 , Patch level 7.
SAP version is ECC6.
I searched across forums, SAP note, and the web, but I couldn't find anything.
I would be grateful if someone could give me ideas.

Hello. The user accounts are have same privilegies (like both are "Power users")? Also the file system are the same in both PC NTFS or FAT32 (today i'm find FAT32 in enterprise ) If NTFS may be some Domain politics are not allow to save file correctly, or space are not enough....Try check this first...Regards.

Hi,
There might be two reasons..
1. In your flat file you have data in lower case .. if you want upper case data also just make change in IO to allow lower case data also..
2. Close the flat file while loading data...
