I am getting the below error while activating Activate Global Funds Management Functions (PSM-FM) in Funds Management.
Aktivierung des Haushaltsmanagements ist nicht erlaubt
Message no. ZZ003

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. But can you clarify me why we need to delete the row Z_LEAVE in SE11 for FMISPS table. Because here ABAPER is objecting to do this as they feel there may be some impact if we delete this.

When I am activating the Fund management function (PSM-FM) in ECC 6 version, I am getting the error " Activation of Household management not permitted)
Moreover, when I am activating Fund management in the following IMG path
Path: - SPRO- Public sector management Funds management government Actual and Commitment Update/Integration Activate/Deactivate Funds Management
When tried to activate Funds management the system throws the message "Read Access only". Message number SV044.
I am not able to do any configrational changes in this customization step.
Kindly advise.

I am also facing the same problem. Has anyone found the solution for this? I have gone through all the relevant actions for activating FM.
The steps i took are :
a) Create a Funds management area
b) Assign the FM Area to company code
c) Activate Global FM Function
d) Activate Global FM Budgetory control check
e) To a FM area assign the currency,Budget profile,Fund profile ,Fiscal year variant
f) The master data to be created
1. Fund centre
2. Commitment item
Funds are not relevant at my scenario so it is not relevant.
g) Made budget entry for a FM area at Fund centre,Fund,Commitment item level.
h) Created derivation rules for the posting.
i) Assign Commitment item to GL accounts
j) After checking the postings, I tried to activate FM.
At this point the FM is giving me the same error:- Read Access Only
Please Help

Issue when activing Global Funds Management Function(PSM-FM)

Hi Peers,
I tried to active Global Funds Management Function(PSM-FM) in IMG. A message "Aktivierung des Haushaltsmanagements ist nicht erlaubt" poped up. And I also only have read access to Active/Deactive Funds Management but SU53 shows authorization check is ok.
What should I do for next? Thanks

Hi,
I am facing the same issue regarding "Read Access Only" to the activation of Funds Management under Actual and Commitment Update/Integration.
I've checked the component activation and found that
1) ES-PS is activated under SPRO
2) IS-PS is checked under BF11, but the checkbox status is greyed, so that it's impossible to change it.
I've tried to delete the IS-PS entry and re-insert it...the action was successful but the issue remained...
Any clues?

Error while activating Queue XBTR* in Manage Queues in TCODE sxmb_adm

Hello Experts,
SAP PI is sending the data to ECC through inbound proxy in PI SXMB_MONI it is showing Black colur flag as it is through but in R3 SXMB_MONI messages are in green colur flag showing it is in scheduled state.Data is in quues in SMQ2.
While i try to activate queues in SXMB_ADM it throwing as Error while activating Queue XBTR*
XBTR Queue is in SMQ2.

Check if the queue XBTR* is already registered in your SAP R3 server.
You have to do it first, if not already done.

Error while settlement of WBS - Funds Management

Hi,
We have maintain derivation rule as - WBS to Fund Center. This Fund center is DUMMY because we need not want to control WBS through Funds Management.
There is always one Cost center in each WBS. while settling this WBS we are getting error as -
Asset ABC 000127000000 0000: no subnumber with FM assignment DUMMY / /
Message no. AW851
ABC - Company code
000127000000 - asset number
DUMMY - Fund center

Error while maintaing Current budget-funds Management

Hi ,
In Production system when go to create current budget using tcode-FR50 for Fund Center and commitment Item system is giving error of "budget exceed " with some amount and not allowing to maintain the budget.
In fund center hierarchy i have checked fund centers are properly maintained but what is the reason of this error im not understanding.If anybody came across the same kind of error then give solution.

Global Funds Management - Error on activation

I am trying to activate Global Funds Management functions. However, I notice a very strange situation. After activating it, when I try to post a FI Document, system is saying "Enter a leading ledger". I had already defined leading and non-leading ledgers in the New GL. If I deactivate the Global Fund Management functions again, I am able to post the document and the same error message is not appearing.

Please tell me about your system condition. Is your ecc 6.0 also implement Public Sector component, and the relevant consultant already activated public sector management component in SPRO? Usually de-activate leading ledger 0L cause by activated this component.
It is the behavior system once Global PSM -FM activated it create new total table FMGLFLEXT, and customer free to use either FAGLEFLEXT or FMGLFLEXT.
If you want to use/activate again 0L then you can programt via SE38. Run the program FMGL_CHANGE_APPL_IN_LEDGER.
Leading ledger 0L will come back again.

hi there....
make sure that the Processing type in Attributes tab is 'Normal function module'. Also chk the general data, it must be having some name in the Program Name and include name column.try checking the program names in se38, if the program is of type include or not. you can also chk by writting a program call the function module and test it
I hope this will solve the query. in my case, SAPLZ123 is the program name and LZ123U28 is the include name.
or
Its common prob with Function module.
Goto SE80->Give Function group name->Right click on it->Activate.

Activate / Deactivate Funds Management

Hi,
I am getting issue in posting my MIRO entries for 2014, and I have activated the BCS part from 1st Apr 2015. System is giving the error of "FI 311 No Commitment Items entered in item xxxxxx"
I have posted few transactions in Mar 2015 through FB60 which were posted perfectly, few service entries were also posted which were entered after FM activation. In the year 2015 revenue invoices were also posted perfectly.
But there are these MIRO invoices where service entries were entered and released before activation of funds management. Now this has halted our ending process serverly. Consultants are working on the issue, but time is running out.
Meanwhile, can the below be the solution
I want to know, with this scenario can I deactivate Funds management and also deactivate "update" will this step enable me to post the pending MIRO documents where I am getting issue (Error FI311). I will stop posting for Apr 2015. Once these documents get posted I will again activate the Funds management and activate the "Update"

That's ok, but... did you think or test in QA system, the system behavior before FM is activated?
Because in MM flow, you can't ignore the data history flow.
I mean, you have:
PR - PO - MIGO/MIRO
Suppose that you activated FM/BCS between PO and MIRO.
How do you expect the system react?
I think you must convert historical data to fill FM objects.

Error while activating transformation ---- Message no. RSTRAN510

while I am Extrating Data From Flat File I encountered this Error.
I am working on ECC 6.0 , BI 7.0.
I am trying this one in IDES, it is newly installed server.
For Flat File Extraction I follwed the Steps
1) I created Data source -
let us assume I have created a Flat File with 3 fields
SNO SNAME MARKS
File is located in workstation
Data source created successfull , I have checked in preview.
2) I have created 2 key Figures, 1 characteristic
3) I have created Infocube
here I have some doubt
while I am creating Infocube, the look and Feel is very different to 3.XX
when i try to create in 3.XX , we can see the Tabs for Kef figs,chars,Time chars and we assign chars to Dimenstions.
when i am creating Infocube in BI 7.0 , I don't Find such a Tabs and how I am assign the chars to Dimension
I created Like this
select
Info Area -
> create Info cube -
given name of the cube and create (F5).
the Info cube window displayed on the Right side
Then I did like this
select
key Figures -
> Info object Direct Input
Then I inserted my two key figures SNO,MARKS
--- continue (F5)
Dimension 1 -
> Info object Direct Input
I inserted the 1 char SNAME
--- continue (F5)
Then I saved the Info cube
Info cube saved successfull and activated successfull
Is it Right way For create InfoCube ?
4) I created Transfomation for the Data source
Data source -
> create Transfomation
I have given
Object Type : InfoCube
Name :YSTU - i selected which I already created.
It automaticall taken these parameters
Obejct Type : DataSource
Data source : YSTU
source system :PC_FILE
create Transformation (Enter)
I got the Error
Cannot generate proposal
Message no. RSTRAN017
Then I try to activate, I got the Error.
Error while activating transformation
Message no. RSTRAN510
Before I post this , I had searched in Previous SDN post for this Error , But I can't understand the solution.
I have lot of doubts like Basis Guy need to install any Patch or
I did mistake any where.
Help me to Find the solution...

Error while activating all inactive infoobjects in DEV

Im trying to activate all inactive infoobject by using program RSDG_IBOJ_ACTIVATE. But it says the following error
System error in lock management
Message no. AD025
Diagnosis
A system error has occurred in the lock management function.
The system was unable to determine whether a lock entry existed for the selected object.
System Response
The selected object could not be locked.
Only display mode can be used.
Procedure
Make a note of the error code and inform your system administrator.
why it is like this
how can i activate all inactive infoobjects in development server.

Hi,
It seems objects are locked in transport request. Check the 'object directory entry' for the object and find out the transport request/task under which objects are locked. Remove the objects from TR or release the request and then try to activate.

Error while activating transformation

Hi Experts,
I need to activate a transformation between a cube and DSO.
But I am getting an error message while activating the Transformation the messages are as followed.
1. Error when writing routines
   Message Number. RSAA561
2. Error while activating transformation
    Message Number. RSTRAN510
3. Error activating transformation.
   Message number. RSO404
I have checked the transformation and each field is mapped to correct field and there are no routines its just 1:1 mapping can any body tell how to check the error on basis of Message Number as there is no other information available when we are displaying the error.

Error while activating DSO

Hi,
I am getting an error while activating the DSO. I am able to load the data but this occurs when I try to activate the data. I get the follwing error message
"Value "09020751987.44 " from characteristic 0REF_DOC_NO contains an error at position 15
Message no. BRAIN290
Diagnosis
Characters that have a hexadecimal display between HEX00 and HEX1F are not permitted in characteristic values. The character at position 15 is one of these characters. The value is therefore not permitted.
Note that these characters cannot be displayed and are therefore displayed as '#'. The actual character '#' has the hexadecimal display HEX23.
Procedure
Check the origin of the characteristic value. If possible, change the characteristic value in the source.
Incorrect source text in update routines and transfer routines can also cause this problem."

Hi Tanu,
this is an error in the data loaded. If you have used PSA, then try searching for the packet containing this record using the change log table, by request id. (This step is to precisely find the position of the record in PSA).
Now delete the request from the DSO and correct the data in PSA. The issue could be a tab or a space in the reference document feild and then save the data. Reconstruct this packet from PSA and then try activating.
Subsequently let the data team/ user know about the correction in the source system as well, in order to avoid any future failures.
This should correct the issue.

I am trying to Activate 0Material Infoobject after deleting a Navigation attribute(Classification characteristics) ,the system throws a error " Error while activating Type Info object".And when i navigated to the Detailed error message it says " error : Internal Activation(info object) - error while converting master data tables .Can anyone help me out with this.

Dear gurus,
We posted the error message to SAP and they have replied " while we deleted the attributes from the Info object(0material) it broke the D-Version of the Object and so to Transport the Info object from another Working system to the Problem(Dev)system ,Install and then activate".
1). Does it mean we can install them object in PRODUCTION Server and then transport to the Development.???
2). Now i tried installing 0Material in RSORBCT in Produciton,but gets a message "Cant make any changes in the repository-changes in this client prohibited". Guys could u help us with this??
