Error while activating any object

Hi Everyone,
I m have strange problem with bi sever.
When ever i try to activate any object in system goes in debugging mode.
Can any one tell y dis happening.
did i activated some setting ???

Hi,
I think Some one Swithced on Break Point.
In Debugging mode take that program name and go to SE38 Click on Brek Point icon it will remove break point.
Please let me know whether it works or not.

There are only 3 info objects which i have created it and activated, only those i am pulling in the new ods but its throwing the same error what ever i do changes.
Is this issue is related to any authorization concerned?

Let we try this way. I'm sure you might have some existing mapping objects in IR.
Try to change that object(Description give some name) and activate again the object.
Reply your results whether you are getting the same error.
One sec before changing the object just test the mapping and change the object.

Hi Suresh,
have a look at the integration builder start jsp. There is a Link "Administration". On this page, on the left side, you can click on "lock overview" and check if your object is locked. Then you can remove this lock.

Error while activating ODS Object

Hi,
I have loaded the data from R/3 to a ODS Object and the activation of ODS failed due to the following errors as shown below..
-Value '20060 ' of characteristic 0CALQUARTER is not plausible
-Error when assigning SID (details in long text)
-Activation of data records from ODS object ZODS_02 terminated
-Error getting SID for ODS object ZODS_02
I could see that Calendar Quarter as 20060 in PSA. How should i get rid of this error. Any idea would be appreciated.

you are getting this calender qurter from SAP right... check in RSA3 fro the your Datasource. if you are getting same value like '20060'. you can do one thing... you can set 'No Update' in Transfer Rules. you can write a routine in Update Rules for populating the data for calender Week.
you can call some standard function modules or you can write a small routine. If you want to write a routine check this thread...Re: Date to Quarter
Possibilites:
1. updtae rules
2. if RSA3(PSA) shows the value of the Quarter as '20050', if it is custom extractor(Generic using FM) you can change this.
3. If it is Standard Extractor or Generic Extractor (using either view/table or Infoset) you can enhance this. you can do the same thing in SAP Side.

Error while activating DataStore Object

Hi Experts,
I am using standard DataStore Object(0FIGL_O02), but while scheduling the laod for it its giving me error:
"DataStore 0FIGL_O02 built incorrectly; cannot update request REQU_432B1OBKPHR2X8JKALGN0UZLE(617)"
My DataStore Object is active, but when i am trying to actiavte it again its going for dump but all the other ODS are working fine, does anyone faced the same problem?

After activating the data in ECC rsa5 and replicating it in BW rsa1, when i am trying to activate the infoobjects in object types i get the following error.
*DataSource 0RF_ARTHIER_ACT does not exist in source system DVMCLNT110 of version A *

Hi Rohit,
you can activate the datasource by using 'RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL'program
Please follow bellow steps:
1.Goto SE38>give the Program>click on Execute.
2. Give the technical name of Datasource and Execute.
Note: there is one check box, first execute with that checkbox checked and see, if that didnt work, uncheck the checkbox and execute, hope this should solve your problem.
3. Replicate the Datasouce in BI side.
4. Activate the relavent Objects indevedulally.

Hi Rajesh,
I believe you had created an SWCV that is enabled for Backward Compatibility 'Uses NW04/NW04s MI application' and created a Data Object in this SWCV. Ideally, when the SWCV is enabled for Backward Compatibility, the Data Objects should be created by importing the text file as Data Objects from a MI 7.0 server. Since you have not done that way, you are getting this error.
I would suggest that you create a new SWCV and do not check the option 'Uses NW04/NW04s MI application'. Now create the Data Object again and try to activate it and you should be able to activate it.

Transport Error RSO 252 while collecting any object in RSA1

I am having weired issue while collecting any objects in my BI dev system. It gives me error as below. I tried to look these objects in meta data repostiroty but it has been deleted already in Dev and QA system. My objects are not using or have links with these objects as coming as Error messages.
I also looked in tables rsaabap, RSAROUTT and RSTRANFIELD but there are not such entry . I also checked OSS note 1157803 but we are already on that.
Error as Below -

Diagnosis
You wanted to generate an object with the name Object '0SU9V7HTBXK9EKJA7GEFCPFG6BOJ6SIX' (in transport request TRFN) of type 'Routine' (TLOGO). This is, however, not available in the BW Repository database. It does not exist in the requested version A. If the version is 'D' then it is possible that an error arose during the delivery or installation. If the version is 'A' then the Object was either not created or not activated.
System Response
The object was not taken into account in the next stage of processing.
Any help would be appriciated.

Try to find out these objects using SE03. 'Search for objects in Transport Requests', and check what happened to those objects/requests.

Error while activating transformation ---- Message no. RSTRAN510

while I am Extrating Data From Flat File I encountered this Error.
I am working on ECC 6.0 , BI 7.0.
I am trying this one in IDES, it is newly installed server.
For Flat File Extraction I follwed the Steps
1) I created Data source -
let us assume I have created a Flat File with 3 fields
SNO SNAME MARKS
File is located in workstation
Data source created successfull , I have checked in preview.
2) I have created 2 key Figures, 1 characteristic
3) I have created Infocube
here I have some doubt
while I am creating Infocube, the look and Feel is very different to 3.XX
when i try to create in 3.XX , we can see the Tabs for Kef figs,chars,Time chars and we assign chars to Dimenstions.
when i am creating Infocube in BI 7.0 , I don't Find such a Tabs and how I am assign the chars to Dimension
I created Like this
select
Info Area -
> create Info cube -
given name of the cube and create (F5).
the Info cube window displayed on the Right side
Then I did like this
select
key Figures -
> Info object Direct Input
Then I inserted my two key figures SNO,MARKS
--- continue (F5)
Dimension 1 -
> Info object Direct Input
I inserted the 1 char SNAME
--- continue (F5)
Then I saved the Info cube
Info cube saved successfull and activated successfull
Is it Right way For create InfoCube ?
4) I created Transfomation for the Data source
Data source -
> create Transfomation
I have given
Object Type : InfoCube
Name :YSTU - i selected which I already created.
It automaticall taken these parameters
Obejct Type : DataSource
Data source : YSTU
source system :PC_FILE
create Transformation (Enter)
I got the Error
Cannot generate proposal
Message no. RSTRAN017
Then I try to activate, I got the Error.
Error while activating transformation
Message no. RSTRAN510
Before I post this , I had searched in Previous SDN post for this Error , But I can't understand the solution.
I have lot of doubts like Basis Guy need to install any Patch or
I did mistake any where.
Help me to Find the solution...

DTP Type : Standard (Can be sheduled)
Target of DTP
Object Type : Info cube
Name : YSTU (This is my Cube Name)
Source of DTP
Object Type : Data source (It automatically Taken)
Data source : This is Disabled
Source system: This is Disabled
continue (Enter)
I got the message ?
Specify Name of source
and courser is in Data Transfer Proc

Error While activating 0Material(BI7)

Dear Gurus,
I am trying to Activate 0Material Infoobject after deleting a Navigation attribute(Classification characteristics) ,the system throws a error " Error while activating Type Info object".And when i navigated to the Detailed error message it says " error : Internal Activation(info object) - error while converting master data tables .Can anyone help me out with this.

Dear gurus,
We posted the error message to SAP and they have replied " while we deleted the attributes from the Info object(0material) it broke the D-Version of the Object and so to Transport the Info object from another Working system to the Problem(Dev)system ,Install and then activate".
1). Does it mean we can install them object in PRODUCTION Server and then transport to the Development.???
2). Now i tried installing 0Material in RSORBCT in Produciton,but gets a message "Cant make any changes in the repository-changes in this client prohibited". Guys could u help us with this??

i am getting folowing error while activation of the mapping object. Checked the cache and updated it .
there are no locks by any user also
Version management was unable to execute the last action because a temporary internal lock has been set. Repeat the action
