The problem is with your data source replication.
Activate your data source & replication too.
Activate your transfer atructure through RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL .
If not so, Activate your transfer rule manually.

Procedure
Define the PSA in the source system.

Change Transfer method to PSA in Transfer rules and then activate. If PSA is selected, you will not face this error.

Error while activating update rule in Inventory

I was working with migration of datasource 2LIS_03_BF from 3.x to 7.0 in MM module.
Recieved an error while activating update rule 0RT_C17 2LIS_03_BF in Inventory module.
When I checked the routine ,it shows the following error.
Errror:E:The Dictionary structure or table "/BI0/PMAT_SALES" is either not active or does not exist.
I am not usre how to resolve this.
Kindly reply asap.

1. Activate the master data infoobject for 0MAT_SALES at info object level of RSA1
2. Replicate and Activate the data source once again by using the program > SE38 : RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL
3. Then try to migrate you datasource and activate you update rules.

we have upgraded BW3.1 to BI 7.0, we are getting error while activating transfer structure for 0mat_sales_attr and 0mat_sales_text.
Error is Error while creating table 'EDISEGMENT' entry '/BIC/CIOD0MAT_SALES_TEXT'
Message no. EA201
Diagnosis
An attempt was made to create the entry '/BIC/CIOD0MAT_SALES_ATTR' in table 'EDISEGMENT'. The attempt failed.
System Response
The operation was canceled.
Procedure
Please check whether the relevant entry already exists
I have tried report RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL also, but no success.
I have checked table and entry is there. i have checked we31 for segment there also segment is existing.

I am finding the following error while activating 0CUSTOMER_TEXT in BI 7
1. Transfer structure 0CUSTOMER_TEXT_BA does not exist and
2. Data element for TXTMD could not be created.
Can you please suggest me how to resolve these issues ?

did you replicate ur 0CUSTOMER_TEXT as 7.0 datasource, then you need to use transformations and not transfer rules. if you dont want to use 7.0 Ds, then go to RSDS and recover the datasource to 3.x(menu options). then you can use 3.x dataflow.

Hi,
Usually this occurs when even the SOURCE SYSTEM is not configured properly. Recently I had the same issue. If the source system is newly configured, meaning other tran structures / rules are working fine then don't go over this process.
1. Drop the Source System
2. Re-Create the Source System.
3. For other than PC Files, "Replicate the DataSources" in the Source System.
4. Try mapping the transfer rules / structure and activate it.
Also check the SAP Note no :147195

I mean same datasource comming from two R/3 instances and connecting to one infosource.

there is an OSS Note (120446) related to your problem, but it seems related to a very old release (what's yours ?)
Anyway, it suggests:
"the transfer method in the transfer rules must be set to TRFC with ODS"

Error while migrating transfer rules

When migrating <b>2LIS_02_SCL</b> transfer rules to transforamtions I got a shotdump "ASSERTION_FAILED in 'CL_RSTRAN_TEMPLATE->CREATE_ROUTINE" for this I have implemented Snote : 986199 after this when I am migrating transforamtions are getting created but showing syntax errors (for this transfer rules there are standard routines ) .Can anyone help me to sort out this issue.

unfortunately not all transfer rules can be migrated automatically.The migration of the business content transformation is done on customer project base. This means some of the adjustments needs to be done manually.
Please adjust the rules to the ABAP OO compliance.

Error while installing transfer rules for 0PM_C03 from Business content

Hi All,
When i try to install the transfer rules for the Infocube 0PM_C03 from the Business Content, i get the following error:
"Mapping between 2LIS_17_I3HDR 2LIS_17_ORDER is inconsistent".
Here 2LIS_17_ORDER is the Infosource, and 2LIS_17_I3HDR is the datasource.
Also, kindly let me know how can the Infosource and the datasource have different names, like in the case for this Cube.

Transport Error while moving Transfer rules - RS_ISMP_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) ISMP ( )

Strucked up with an issue while transporting the Transfer rules that are created for an UPFILE source system.
Transport is included with list of Data source Replica, Transfer rules, Transfer structure and Info Package.
My data Source : ZVPRCRDT for an UPFILE
Below is my error screen :
Tried to resolve the error by moving the Data source Replica as an individual Transport.
Still see the same error and my data source is active in the current system.
Looking for a resolution to find out the root cause.
Any help is appreciated...

My Source System UPFILE is in active mode.
Unsure why system is throwing error as source system assignement was inconsistency.
All fields are mapped perfect with one-one relation.
Worked by reassigning the UPFILE - source system to the data source but still i m seeing the same error : Data Source doesnt exist in source system of version A.
Transported the DS alone to Quality initially where i m unable to find the transported data source in my quality(target). DO i need to perform replicate meta data ...something like that in quality so that imported data sources will get refreshed?
If so can you let me know the approach.

Error while Activating update rule in BW

Hi,
I am getting an ABAP dump while activating an update rule. The rule is from DSO to cube.
"MESSAGE_TYPE_X" " "
"%_T020N1" or "%_T020N1"
"INSTANTIATE"
I have added some new fields in a DSO. The rule is from DSO to cube. While activating it, I am getting this ABAP dump. There are few other rules from this DSO to other DSO which got activated but this one is causing dump.
Any ideas/suggestions on this would be really helpful.

Check if your Cube , DSO and UR's are active. If not reactivate them. Ideally you could recreate the UR's and check the status by running the extraction.
I would also recommend to use elimination method to check if any particular field is creating an issue. While recreating the UR's , create them for a few fields - active - check extraction - this will also let you know if the issue is within any oif the rules.

ABAP Runtime error while activating Update rules.

Actually we are in NW 2004's SP9.
While activating the update rules of cube "0PY_PPC01" it is going to ABAP runtime error. It is giving the key words like "MESSAGE_TYPE_X"
"%_T005K2" or "INSTANTIATE". And i apply NOTEs also i am unable to fix it.
Can any one give correct NOTE number that can fix it or any suggestions.

Hello,
The problem you are reporting could be that you are using the Transfer
Method 'IDOC' for the affected transfer rule(s). You should use the
'PSA' transfer method (rather than the 'IDOC' method), as the IDOC
method is very old.
If so, please change the transfer method in the affected transfer rules
to 'PSA', then try to activate the transfer structure again. This should
solve the problem, in which case, please let us know by clicking on the
'Close' button.
If the problem persists please create the report that is relevant for your system release
as per the SAP note 493422 and execute the report in your system, the report can be
created in se38, please talk to your basis team if you have problems creating the report.

BI Content Error when activating transfer rule / SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC

when i want to iinstall the transfer rule /CRMBW/OLTP_OPPORTUNITY_ITEM
from Data Source /CRMBW/OLTP_OPPORTUNITY_ITEM to InfoSource
/CRMBW/OPPORTUNITY_I (all Business Content Objects) Iam facing the following situation:
1. When I use "Simulate Installation" i get the warning for all of the fields: Field APP_SERVER is not supported by DataSource /CRMBW/OLTP_OPPORTUNITY_ITEM in source system SLOGICOCRM. Transfer rules were deleted however, delivered.
2. When I use "Installation" i get a dump of the following type:
    Runtime Errors         SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC
    Except.                     CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
    Error in the ABAP Application Program
    The current ABAP program "CL_RSAR_FORMULAS==============CP" had to be
     terminated because it had come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
    More details of the dump are:
    Trigger Location of Exception
    Program                                 CL_RSAR_FORMULAS==============CP
    Include                                 CL_RSAR_FORMULAS==============CM00E

The problem is, i can not map the transfer rule by myself because the the transfer structure contains some important Routines and Formulas which are missing in thereports and i dont know the source code they are using.
