Error while approving time sheet "Internal Error Occurred"

1) Time Sheet entry done for an employee b/w 3rd-5th Oct 2011, while approving it through T code - CATS_APPR_LITE, its giving the error " INTERNAL ERROR OCCURRED" !!!
When the error is expanded, the below details have come up.
Internal error occurred
Message no. LR030
Diagnosis
The system has detected an internal program error which should not have occurred in a normal program run.
Procedure
To safeguard your data, notify the SAP hotline.
2) Please let us know, is there any other procedure or way to approve the time sheets ???

check in the portal if the ID's exist
Also, check if the manager has authorization's in the portal for the objects

Error while uploading time sheet

Dear Consultant,
We have negative time management system. We do not run payroll on SAP but have Time Management System. We upload Timesheets in SAP using CAT2. While uploading Timesheets we got error as
" SUBMIT authorization GVAL required for program RGUGBR00".
What could be the reason?

Error while approving time through CAPS

Hi Experts,
We have an issue where the user is migrating from old (4.6C) system to new (ECC6.0) system
The migration is happening in phases.
There are some employees moved during June 2008. Who have still unapproved hrs left during (old system) March 2008 to May 2008 the hours are non productive hours and are need manual approval of the manager.
Now the manager wants to approve those records through CAPS transaction in old system. When he executes CAPS system says no data found (but there are unapproved hours when checked in CADO)
and when click on back arrow gets the following error message
"Personnel numbers skipped by the database driver"
"Reason 1: insuffcient authorization, no. skipped personnel nos: 1"
When we have investigated the same and found that approver has got all the necessary authentrization to approve. He got CATS administrator authorisation.
But the same when he tries to approve records for September 2008 migrated he can approve the same.
I herd that there is some grace period for approving the old records. Do any one has idea on grace period.

Error while approving time - Portal crashes or hangs up

Hello,
We have this one end user who approves time for a lot of people (>150). When trying to approve time as this user, portal crashes or hangs up. This user has approximately 5000 individual items combined that user needs to approve
Steps
1) Click on "Time to be approved" in MSS - PASS
2) A screen pops up and after about 7 minutes or so, user gets time to be approved for each employee by week. - PASS
3) User will then click on "Review" button at the bottom of the pop -up.
4) The individual item screen that shows time for each day where user can approve or reject is not coming up. Browser basically crashes or just hangs up.
Any ideas or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

It seems like this user may be approving time not as a supervisor but more as an HR payroll/personnel type of person. If this is the case and they are not really the supervisor of >150 people, I would recommend having the user run the report for approval in the backend (CAPS or CAT4 transaction).
If they insist on approving through MSS or if they really are a casual user/supervisor, then it seems they will need more PC memory to handle that much processing.
Also, we partitioned the CATSDB table and the approval reports runs in seconds now instead of minutes. We partitioned by year. This may help you also but doubtful since they are trying to approve so many employees at once.

Hi Dsr,
Use transaction code OB58->Highlight the Fin. Stmt. version you want to Change and click on the Display icon.->Next, click on the "Fin.Statement items" icon on the application tool bar. You can then expand and carry out your update as appropriate.
If you do not have the prerequisite authorisations, you wouldn't be able to do this.

Are you trying to call any database program units ?
try to compile the database program units which you are trying to call in the Forms.

Error while updating time sheet with BAPI_CATIMESHEETMGR_INSERT

Hi Gurus,
We are uploading data from 3rd party software to SAP with Z program.
In this Z program using BAPI_CATIMESHEETMGR_INSERT.
While updating data manually with CAT2 or with BAPI, data is entered properly without any problem but while using the bapi in Z program error message " Version 0 is not set up for controlling area" is coming .
Hence Version 0 is already active for the controlling area for fiscal year 2010.
Please help me to resolve the issue.

Error while approving work item

Hi All,
I am getting error while approving a claim request; error is:
error while inserting claim record xxxxxxx in cluster for employee xxxxxxxx
This does not happen always, some time I am able to approve and sometime i got the error.
I am using same set of user ids and same perspnal nos; does this thing matters and causing this issue or this should not cause this problem.

Hi Honey,
Could you please check note number: 1374072 which is for the PY-IN-PS. I don't think that this warning message that you are seeing is applicable to the UWL or generated from the UWL component. Error messages like this are usually generated from the ABAP system and more specifically from the application area. Another hint would be to check ST22 to see if there is a short dump occuring in the backend system.
According to the note, this error will be thrown when:
"Error on Approver Screen stating "Error while inserting claim
record <Reference Number> in cluster for employee <Employee
Number>". This happens only when the approver tries approving the
request almost immediately after the employee has submitted the
request."

" Error while sending message: 500 Internal Server Error" RNIF Adapter

Hi,
I have configured B2B integration as   Sender : RNIF adapter & Receiver: XI Adapter.
I am able to test the configuration successfully in ESR and ID. But, whille testing with RWB using same test data, i am getting the following error:
Error while sending message: 500 Internal Server Errot.
     Could you anybody help me, what could be the reason? Even i am not getting any error messages in SXMB_MONI.

-Is the 500 internal SErver Error in RWB is only for this issue and the message is successfully processed in SXMB_MONI?
   Could be the PI Service User :PIAFUSER(Adapter framework user) login crendential issue or run out time error.
Try taking the payload from sxmb_moni and enter it in RWB > Adater engine> Test Message Tab > give proper sender interface information , enter payload and try sending message.   check what is behaviour

SOAP Receiver- Error While Sending Message: 500 Internal Server Error

Hello,
Our scenario: IDoc to SOAP
I have added a third party system in the SLD and have used the same in my ID configuration.
An idoc will be triggered from R/3, which will received in PI, PI will transform the IDoc into SOAP message for the third party system.
I have tested the scenario in ID from Interface Determination and its successful.
But when i try to try to test it from RWB, using Test Message in Adapter Engine, I get an error,
"Error while sending message:500 Internal server error"
If we test it using a testing software like SOAP UI, it works fine but from PI we get the error mentioned above.

Since the IDOC adapter resides on the ABAP stack, you can use this URL instead (it will be sent to the integration engine as Venkata suggested)

Also check your firewall settings from PI to the third-party system.
