Error while calling Strored procedure in HR Module

Hi,
I have a composite which picks up a file and use that data to call API's in HR module and do some database lookups. I have done development in one instance and done with testing. So, in the same SOA instance, we want to test the composite against a different oracle database instance. So connection factories for oracle apps and database adpater have been created. I wrote the config plan, replaced the JNDi names for both the adapters and deployed the composite to the same SOA instance. I am getting this error at runtime...
Exception occured when binding was invoked. Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'CreateUSEmp' failed due to: Stored procedure invocation error. Error while trying to prepare and execute the APPS.XX_BPEL_CREATEUSEMP.HR_EMPLOYEE_API$CREATE_US_EMP API. An error occurred while preparing and executing the APPS.XX_BPEL_CREATEUSEMP.HR_EMPLOYEE_API$CREATE_US_EMP API. Cause: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PLS-00201: identifier 'APPS.XX_BPEL_CREATEUSEMP' must be declared ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PL/SQL: Statement ignored Check to ensure that the API is defined in the database and that the parameters match the signature of the API. This exception is considered not retriable, likely due to a modelling mistake. Actually, in the next instance, the API is there and also it has the same signature in both the database instances, the user credentials used in creating the datasource has access to the package in the oracle database instance... Can somebody please help me with the solution, what is causing the error here...

Cause: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PLS-00201: identifier 'APPS.XX_BPEL_CREATEUSEMP' must be declared ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PL/SQL: Statement ignored Check to ensure that the API is defined in the database and that the parameters match the signature of the API.This has nothing to do with the connection pool you have created (as the BPEL process connects to the new database), and most likely it is something to do with the API/Package you are using. Please double check the code of the package (make sure it is valid and it is identical to the one you have in the other instance).

Error while calling a procedure from ESB

Hi,
I am calling a procedure from ESB using DB adapter. and in the routing rules i am mapping the i/p values for schema to procedure input variables using mappings(transformation) but the values are going as null to the procedure call.
Please help me out.

This is likely being caused by a problem that we've seen a number of times. You'll have namespace issues and problems with NULLs if your JDev is 10.1.3.1 and SOA is 10.1.3.3 (or vice-versa). You MUST synchronize JDev 10.1.3.3 (or higher) with SOA 10.1.3.3 (or higher). It doesn't matter if you mix 10.1.3.3 and 10.1.3.4. You just need to get away from 10.1.3.1.

This is likely being caused by a problem that we've seen a number of times. You'll have namespace issues and problems with NULLs if your JDev is 10.1.3.1 and SOA is 10.1.3.3 (or vice-versa). You MUST synchronize JDev 10.1.3.3 (or higher) with SOA 10.1.3.3 (or higher). It doesn't matter if you mix 10.1.3.3 and 10.1.3.4. You just need to get away from 10.1.3.1.

I created JCA DBAdapter in Jdeveloper for calling remote stored procedure which contains cursors as OUT parameters.
I'm getting below exception when i try to call the database via BPEL/OSB.the same remote procedure call is working on Invoking with WLI .

You need to open all the cursors in the PLSQL ie., cursors should be initialized in your PLSQL package. JCA DB Adapter tries to open the cursor without checking whether its there or not..If you cant change the PLSQL package, raise a SR with Oracle for a patch.This would be considered as Enhancement Request.

Error while calling an procedure using an external table with C#.

I am developping a scheduler application with Visual Studio 2010 (C#) to start my PL/SQL procedures.
Everything works fine with every procedure but one who is reading the content of an external table.
Strange thing is when i launch the same procedure with Toad, i have no problem, but when i launch it with my C# code :

I'm having the same problem help me to correct . I have mentioned below as what error i got.

What happened?
 Error in the ABAP Application Program
 The current ABAP program "ZDLROUTSTANDING_COPY" had to be terminated because it
 has
 come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis
 An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
 The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_TYPE', was
 not caught in
 procedure "PDF" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
 Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
 exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
 The reason for the exception is:
 In the function "/1BCDWB/SF00000080", the STRUCTURE parameter "IT_WORKS_SF" is
 typed in such a way
 that only actual parameters are allowed, which are compatible in Unicode
 with respect to the fragment view. However, the specified actual
 parameter "SFTWORKS" has an incompatible fragment view.

Oracle JBDC error while calling the store procedure

HI All,
I am get one strange error while calling a store procedure which has two parameter in and out.
I am pass the correct XML file which reaches the RDB and then PI receives a exception error message saying:
oracle.rdb.jdbc.common.RdbException: Closed Resultset
where as no error log is availble in RBD for the same.
Can anybody tell me what can be the cause of the error.
Let me know if you requires more information on this.

But I am not able to understand you. I am calling a store procedure not a table. and we not doing anything in the store procedure except return one constant value in Out parameter.

Type error while calling function module with in FOX formula

Hi,
I am getting following error while calling function module from FOX Formula:
"Types of parameter DAY_IN () and variable J_CALDAY(D) are inconsistent"
Following is the code:
DATA    I_CALDAY       TYPE 0CALDAY.
DATA    N_CALDAY       TYPE 0CALDAY.
DATA    KYF              TYPE KEYFIGURE_NAME.
FOREACH   I_CALDAY, KYF.
   CALL FUNCTION SLS_MISC_GET_LAST_DAY_OF_MONTH
      EXPORTING
         DAY_IN = I_CALDAY
      IMPORTING
         LAST_DAY_OF_MONTH = N_CALDAY.
    {KYF, N_CALDAY} = {KYF, L_CALDAY}.
ENDFOR.
Import parameter DAY_IN is of type sy-datum (that inturn is data element SYDATUM of data type DATS - same as 0CALDAY). Not sure why error is being thrown. Any idea? Thanks.

I think It will not identify ,though you have (data element SYDATUM of data type DATS - same as 0CALDAY).Check it out by assigning it through a variable of type D.
Data I_CALDAY TYPE D.

Error while calling RFC when using BSP Web Interface

Hi,
we have a problem with the Authorization when we use an Web Interface for BSP. We have assigned all roles to the user which were mentioned in the SAP standard documentation:

R_STS_SUP

but we still get the error message: "Error while calling RFC".
When using a user with SAP_ALL, it works.
What can we do?

Actually that's surprising - because BSP (Business Server Pages) and RFC (Remote Function Call) are not related; they use totally different transport protocols (http vs. RFC). Even if an BSP application is calling a function module remotely (acting as RFC client) no authorizations for S_RFC are required - in the calling system (but in the called system, i.e. the RFC server).
Since assigning SAP_ALL seems to "cure" the problem, it seems to be an authorization issue, indeed. In that case it makes sense to use the authorization trace (ST01 - notice: that's specific to one single ABAP application server; you might have to activate the trace on multiple instances) to find out which authorizations are checked / demanded.
