Error while calling webservice on ECC 5.0
Hi
I have a webservice exposed on a ECC5.0 - the webservice is available for runtime.
But when I call it with a single input parameter - from a test SOAP test client- I get the following error as the SOAP response
What could this be/mean ? Please help.
<soap-env:Envelope xmlns:soap-env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
<soap-env:Body>
<soap-env:Fault>
<faultcode>soap-env:Server</faultcode>
<faultstring xml:lang="en">Error during XML => ABAP conversion (; error ID: ; ( ))</faultstring>
</soap-env:Fault>
</soap-env:Body>
</soap-env:Envelope>
Means theres an error in XML/ABAP conversion probably due a syntax error...

Juan

Error while calling WebService inside ISchedulerTask.
Hi,
Env: NW 2004s
I have a requirement of calling webservice frequently. I developed a portal project with scheduler, where the application gives a runtime error while calling/reading the property file (which is generated during the webservice proxy generation, without it webservice call is impossible).
I have varified the ear file which contains all the required class files and config files including property file.
fyi:
portalapp.xml file looks like this.
+
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<application>
<application-config>
<property name="SharingReference" value="usermanagement, knowledgemanagement, landscape, htmlb, exportalJCOclient, exportal"/>

<service name="RFServiceWrapper">
<service-config>
<property name="className" value="com.sap.netweaver.rf.wrapper.RFServiceWrapper"/>
<property name="startup" value="true"/>
</service-config>
</service>
</services>
</application>

Any input will be highly appreciated.

Can somebody throw a light on this error and how to overcome it.
Thanking You

Import WSDL and Use soapui or xmlspy and try to send the request and see the response. Make sure your WSDL URL is valid one too. After testing update more informaton on this. -

Content-Type: application/xml
...check for the content type of the message that is sent ot the WS.....with the above mentioned content-type going to the WS currently...WS is not able to parse the req and hence the error....in other words wrong format being being passed.

Mapping error while calling WebService
Hi,
I tried implementing the Credit Limit check Web service example and was getting the following error
PARSE_APPLICATION_DATA Error during XML => ABAP conversion (Response Message; error ID: CX_ST_GROUP_MISSING_CASE; (/1SAI/TXS00000000000000000006 XML Bytepos.: 346 XML Path: CreditLimitCheck_DunsResponse(1) Error Text: Element 'Status' fehlt))
Has anybody come across this error if so were you able to resolve it, looking forward to an early solution.
Regards,
AniruddhaKarst,
I looked at the messages in SXMB_MONI and it says that the message has been recieved successfully, it also shows that the response recieved has the status field.
the scenario is to call a webservice get data and send that data to an R3 aplication using ABAP Proxy, could this error be a result of some conversion that is happening at the proxy interface.

Error while calling webservice created in XI
Hi to All,
I have created a Scenario in which i hav to create a webservice and that webservice hav to consume in JAVA.
So created a scenario in which sender is SOAP and Receiver is RFC Adapter as i have to send some information to RFC and get the response from RFC.
I have configured the Soap Sender and RFC Communication channels properly, then i have choosen "to define the web service" and have given the URL as:
http://incsr4:8000/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:BS_WS_RFC:CC_IMAP_SOAP
where incsr4 is server name, BS_WS_RFC is Sender Service Name and CC_IMAP_SOAP is Sender Communication Channel.
When i am coping the URL which i got in the webservice and pasted in the Browser it is giving this message....
Message Servlet is in Status OK
Status information:
Servlet com.sap.aii.af.mp.soap.web.MessageServlet (Version $Id: //tc/xi/645_VAL_REL/src/_adapters/_soap/java/com/sap/aii/af/mp/soap/web/MessageServlet.java#7 $) bound to /MessageServlet

Lookupname for remoteModuleProcessorLookupName: null
ModuleProcessorClass not instantiated
ModuleProcessorLocal is Instance of com.sap.aii.af.mp.processor.ModuleProcessorLocalLocalObjectImpl0

And if i am testing this wsdl in ALTOVA , it is giving this error:
HTTP error: could not post file.
'XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:BS_WS_RFC:CC_IMAP_SOAP&version=3.0&Sender.Service=BS_WS_RFC&Interface=http%3A%2F%2Fincture.imap.com%5EMI_OBS_IMAP_SOAP
on server incsr4(500)

when i am using this Url:
http://incsr4:8000/XISOAPAdapter/HelperServlet?action=FindChannel&channel=:BS_WS_RFC:CC_IMAP_SOAP
to check the communication channel I am getting the right response as below.
<s:ChannelInfo>
<channelID>a5f01758461f3aab820f30cfef57937d</channelID>
<name>CC_IMAP_SOAP</name>
<type>st:SOAP</type>

Did the request reach XI? If yes,
What is the status of the Sender SOAP adapter? Any error in MONI?
if no message is in XI, then check if the user id has the role of SAP_XI_APPL_USER.
