Error while cancelling a migrated PO

Hello All,
We are trying to cancel a migrated PO. While cancelling, we are getting an error Document control failed due to error in [DOCMGR-CANCEL] with a return code of [OTHER].
I referred the note Master Note of Fixes for Error - Document control failed due to error in [DOCMGR-CANCEL] with a return code of [OTHER] (Doc ID 1482447.1)
As per point no 4 in this note I checked the PO Document Approval Manager.
The Note says
*3.Verify the number of target processes should be equal to the number of running processors.*
which is equal in our case.
Also, in the Status column, you should see 'Activate concurrent Manager'. That means the manager is running or active.
In our case the Status column is blank. This is the only difference that I find in the resolution steps provided in the note.
Can this be the cause for our problem? Because we are not facing this issue for all the POs.

    i am getting following error while cancelling material document
    You cannot cancel GR, since inspection lot is already partly posted
    Message no. QA046
    Diagnosis
    You are attempting to reverse a goods receipt although quantity postings have already been made from the inspection lot. This means that stock for the goods receipt has already been transferred and, for this reason, a cancelation of the document is no longer possible.
    Procedure
    Ensure that the postings in QM (within the usage decision transactions) are carried out.

    You can't do cancellation here just because you have given some lot/qty to QI:
    2 ways:
    1. Don't do cancellation, make returns for the rest of the qty...
    2. Take back the qty in the Unrestrcited stock back and then try to do cancellations...

    Hi,
    Am migrating from 11.5.9 to 11.5.10.2
    while running the OATM utility $FND_TOP/bin/fndtsmig.pl it prompts for the connecting string and as soon as I give my database name(i.e connecting string) it is exiting with error as
    Unable to get the host of the database from <SID>
    And am trying to run it with the user as applmgr. Where am I wrong.....??

  • Error While canceling a invoice document in MR8M

    Dear All,
              While canceling a MIRO document in MR8M one error is coming as "Inconsistent temporary document number assignment" Message no. F5726.
              This error is coming now in a production server which has been running from last 6 months.
    Diagnosis
    Temporary document number '$$1' has been assigned to items in company code '1000'. However, the same temporary number ('$$1') is also used for periods '07' and '08'.
    System Response
    Items with the same values for company code, fiscal year, period, document type and other accounting header data must have the same temporary number in the accounting interface.
    Procedure
    This is a system error in the calling application.
    If the document number assignment is internal, the temporary document number can be copied with its initial value.
    If the document number assignment is external, you must follow the rules laid down for the accounting component.
               Awaiting suggestions.

    while checking, there will be no error. but while posting, this type of error is comming.

      in MM03, i saw there is 3 fields for ' per unit price ' in ACCOUNTING1.
    which price it is taking as material price?
    In test server, i tried to cancel a document having info record price = $ 2 and
    material price = $ 230 sgd .it is cancelled.i am getting 3 price in accounting1 of MM03.
    those are
    Company code currency-$230 sgd
    Hard currency----
    $230 sgd
    Index-based currency----$0.12 usd
    i am able to cancel this document in test server though it is having different price  at info & material level.
    from the above 3 fields, which field it is taking for material price?
    at every time we, will give the material price, the info price should be automatically updated.what is the need to change the info price?
    plz give a clear idea.i am having confusion.

    I am trying to cancell the billing document with VF02 but while cancelling with VF02 i am getting error "For object RF_BELEG MS20, number range interval 62 does not exist FBN1", here MS20 is our company code then in FBN1 i have checke number range for 62 fiscal year 2009, but number range is properly maintain thier.
    what can be the problem, the document is made today itself and i am cancelling on same day

    KIndly check the number ranges  maintained  according to the fiscial year 2009 in FBN1
    or  any one has changed the number series  for the interval and kindly the number range interval maintained in the accounting document type  in t code OBA7

    Hi Ayaan,
    You need to set the indicator against the movement type 102 under the following path :
    SPRO>Materials Management>Inventory Management and Physical Inventory>Goods Receipt>For GR-Based IV, Reversal of GR Despite Invoice
    Once set , try reversing the material document . This will work .

  • Network not found error while cancelling the Home buidling SO

    Hi Friends,
    I am facing a problem while canceling a home building sales order.We have created a sales order and while canceling it, it gives and error as  "HBSMSG   E   82 No network exists for sales order 0000000041". Scenario is not build to order hence no network is created when a sales order is created.
    Pl let me know if i am missing on some customization.

  • Error while cancelling GR material is at Block stock

    Hi,
      I have created a GR for material QM view is maintain , after GR material updated from QM it is rejected,  then we have transfer it in Blocked stock in QA11  now we want to cancel the GR,  but while GR  cancel with MBST or MIGO  the stock type it is shoing as X  i.e quality stock  now in quality stock is 0  because material is at blocked stock.  so while cancelling it is giving error as  Deficit of SL Stck.in qual.insp 5,000 NO : 928 MS10 S101
      how to solve this,

    you have to move the stock first quality only.  once you got the stock in quality you can send the material to vendor with (122) movement type.
    For your reference:
    1. SAP NOTE 175842 needs to be implemeted first.
    2. User Exit QEVA0008 needs to be activated.
    3. Then First of all reverse the UD by transaction QA12, by clicking the Customer Function Tab.
    4. Now the stock can be reversed for the same Lot by running program RQEVAC50 in SE38.
    above procedure you have to do must if amterial belongs to quality.

    Hi,
    Goto the Transaction code FBN1 and maintain the Number range 62 for the Financial year 2009 in your company code
    Check the same is available or not in OBA7 for the Reversal accounting document for your company code
    Please check and revert back

    I Want to cancel a material document which was posted some five months back in current period because already the period is closed and mean time the price of the material also has changed ,now while I am trying to cancel the document system throughs an error that document cannot be posted error in price determination what may be the cause and how to rectify.

    Hi Vijikantha,
       If you are trying to cancel material documents created related to delivery, you can reverse the delivery through VL09. Any material documents for goods receipt can  be cancelled through MBST. If there is a problem with the posting period, please take the help of Finance guy to open the previous period and try to post the document.

    While trying to cancel a commercial invoice through transaction VF11 we are getting the short dump with mesage "ASSERTION_FAILED" (The ASSERT condition was  violated).
    Can someone give suggestions/reasons as to why we are getting this dump and how we can avoid it?

    Hello Bhavin,
    The reason for the short dump your facing while processing the
    transaction VF11 is that the General Ledger View for your document is
    missing. As you have New GL active in your system at the moment the
    return billing transaction expects the general ledger view in form of
    entries in the table FAGLFLEXA, which are missing.
    That's why the assertion dump is occurring.
    I assume that the New GL functionality has been activated subsequently
    in your system. Therefore the general ledger view has not been generated
    for the documents which were posted before the date it was activated.
    Among other also the above mentioned document. You can see that there
    are entries in the FAGLFLEXA only before this date.
    Please consider that it is not possible to activate the NEW GL
    functionality subsequently in the middle of the fiscal year after
    posting have been made (see note 891144 for further detail). In order to
    make sure that the New GL can used and to generate the general ledger
    view for the already posted documents a migration process is needed. The
    migration normally a very complex and extensive process which has to
    licensed by SAP and it is not yet released for customers.
    To correct this please run RGURECGLFLEX report in test mode
    for only this document firstly and to see whether this could create the
    document in the NewGL tables. If yes, run it in update mode and it should
    solve the issue while reversing.
    Please note that this will also update the balance of the accounts
    which are involved in the document accordingly for the respective
    periods in the documents accounts.
    Also please check if note 1023573  is applicable to your system.

    2.The BP is created by me and i need to fill all  the other details, like the fields as EKUN,BUT000,BUT020..
    CAN ANYONE HELP ME TROUBLESHOOT THIS PROBLEM.

    Hi Robert,
    To assign both Telephone Number and Mobile Number to the BP, you will have to populate BUT020 structure twice with the values. For telephone number give TEL_MOBILE = 1 in the first structure and for mobile number give TEL_MOBILE = 3 in the second structure.
    Please update the change indicators in your file. CHIND_TEL should be set as I in both structure, while CHIND_ADDR should be 'I' in the first structure and 'U' in the second structure, or left blank.
