Error while capturing service tax in MIRO GL tab

Hi all,
We do not have CIN implemented in our systems .
So inorder to capture service tax we enter them at the time of invoice posting in MIRO directly in the G/L tab against the various GL codes for service tax
But this is leading the system to calculate the tax on even on unplanned del.costs that are entered against the service entry and the figures change as as a result against the GLs
Is there any solution to stop the system to recalculate the tax and pick up what we have entered against the GLs?

Hello Biswajit,
We have a practice of posting the service tax amount directly to the service tax GL accounts at the time IR through the GL tab that appears in MIRO.
We do this just for the reason that CIN is not implemented.
The reconcilation is also done manually.

I have created S3 as interim tax code and S4 as final tax code. I assigned S4 to S3 as a target tax code. Entries are perfectly flowing.
But when i do service tax program for, session is created properly. When i run it in SM35, for gived error
"Tax code S4 may only contain one assignment line"
I have given routine 166 in OBQ3 for ECess and SHEC.
I tells me to do following procedure:
Use a different tax code.
For direct postings to a tax account, you might have to define a separate tax code for which only one line with a percentage rate other than zero is active in percentage rate maintenance. All other lines must be inactive.
Please help me.

There is one interim service tax code (for normal services) - S1. Final service tax code S2 is created assigned to S1 as target tax code.
Entry passed:
Exp A/c.. Dr                                   500000
Service Tax Basic (deferred)       50000
Service Tax ECS (deferred)         1000
Service Tax SHEC (deferred)       500
   To Vendor A/c                                        551500
For this service tax program (new) is working fine.
For the GTA scenario where service tax is not charged in invoice but we have to pay to government, in that case i have created one interim tax code G1 and i have assigned final tax code S2.
Entry passed for GTA (invoice raised by transporter is Rs. 500000):
Exp A/c.. Dr                                   515000
   To Service Tax Basic (deferred)       50000
   To Service Tax ECS (deferred)         1000
   To Service Tax SHEC (deferred)       500
   To Vendor A/c                                   500000
But when i execute the program i can see three line items (for basic, interim and SHEC)
But when i run the session, it gives error:
Tax code S2 may only contain one assignment line.
I AM UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND, WHY ITS GIVING ERROR FOR GTA SERVICE TAX TRANSFER

Error while chaning W. Tax in AP

Dear Experts,
I am getting an error while changing W. TAx in A/P invoice i.e. A/P Invoice - Document Total , Field cannot be updated (ODBC -1029)' [Message 131-183]. As A/P is OPEN & has not yet been paid. Help required please.
Whereas other APs are having no problem while changing W. Tax.
Can somebody please guide.

Yeah right Gordon, it seems logical to me. As after making the payment (against invoice), the W.Tax should not be changed. But if invoice is open it (W. Tax) can be changed. Likewise 95 % of my (open) invoice's W. Tax can be changed. Few are giving problem.

Error while loading service JCo RFC Provider

When I click on the "JCo RFC Provider" node under services in Visual administrator, I get an error:

You have to use the correct Visual Admin version:
if your netweaver is 6.40 use VA 6.40 ... and for 7.00 the same, VA 7.00
(you get them from OS where netweaver is installed)
other possiblity: use Administrator login and check if it works, then correct your permissions (mostyl 'Administrators' group is missing)

Error while loading service Document Services Configuration (NW 7.0 SP13)

I'm in the process of configuring the Adobe Document Services. Now I've received the Certificate + Credentials from SAP which I requested as described in Note 736902. I try to install them according to the Adobe Document Services Configuration Guide which I've downloaded from https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/webcontent/uuid/90355269-4d89-2a10-0bb9-f388704f1dcd. [original link is broken] I've copied the pfx File to /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/TrustManagerService/trust/credentials.
Then I started Visual Administrator and opened Server <x> → Services → Document Services Configuration. Here I get this Error returned:
Error while loading service Document Services Configuration
com.sap.engine.services.adminadapter.exception.AdminException: com/adobe/ads/service/configuration/swing/CredentialTabUI
Does anyone has a hint how I can resolve this problem?

I am facing an error while testing Service enabled Application module.I have followed the documentation avaialble in this link

All the supporting jar files are included in the calling application, but still I am getting class not found exception.
Error is as follows…

We have added custom fields in the service application. these custom fields with Z-structure & data elements are included in BSP structure CRMT_BSP_SRV_OIC_SRCHRES in development system.But the same Z structure & custom fields are exist in the production system but not included in BSP Structue CRMT_BSP_SRV_OIC_SRCHRES.
This may be the reason resulting this ABAP dump error in PCUI while creating Service order.
How these Z structures can be included in the BSP Structure CRMT_BSP_SRV_OIC_SRCHRES in production system?
Helpful answers would be rewrded max points as it is high priority issue.

            I have enhanced service application using transaction EEWB to add new custom fields. these fields are there in Z structure created by the system in production system. All the transports are moved to target system. Problem is that Z structure( contains custom fields) created while doing EEWB is not included in BSP structure.
I f transports are missed to move to target system, Is there any other alternative to solve this problem?

Deplyment error while using service reference

Hi All,
I'm facing similar error where I get the following error when i try to run the application.
Following error i get when i try to deploy

Status of dependent component: STATUS_MISSING. Hint: Is the component deployed correctly on the engine?
I have added this in Sharing references but yet it doesn't help me. I'm using ICacheService in my code.
This **URGENT** Deplyment error while using service reference i was following but could not arrive at any result

The things I have done so far:
1. Deployed the custom library and refered in library references. Its the same name as it is Visual Admin
2. Added Cache API Jar file as external Jar file; added the Sharing reference and also all the steps mentioned in the following link:
Webdynpro DC and J2EE DC
3. The DC builds properly but fails at deployment
My question is there any way that I can manually start the service.
I find the application in Server >> Services >> Deploy is with invalid kind of symbol (neither blue checked symbol / red cross symbol). How do I restore the application

like (ICacheService)WDPortalUtils.getServiceReferences("com.sap.compatibility50.cache.cache"). is this right

unfortunately, the key storage service still throws the error:

Capturing service tax categories during FB60/MIRO

This is with reference to the service tax categories, which is required during monthly return in India.
To the best of my knowledge, SAP does not have any standard solution to capture these servie tax categories during transaction entry till date.
There are almost 102 categories defined by Govt of India for different kind of services. These categories are need to cature during transaction and will used later in filling return.
I am trying to find a filed which is available in FB60/MIRO and FBL3N so that what transaction recorded in service tax payble GL, will have trace of services.
Please suggest which filed i should use in FB60 or MIRO, which will have F4 help and also appear in FBL3N.

Hi DD,
We have solved a similar problem using text keys. Under SPRO GL Accounting -> Business transactions -> GL Account postings -> Carry out and check document settings -> Define texts for line items, define keys for service tax categories like ST1, ST2 with descriptions. These can be selected from F4 help and entered by the user during invoice entry. You can see them in FBL3N, filter and sub-total it.

As we do for excise in RG23A I & II capture and post in MIGO
how we capture the service tax(claimable) ; so is there any other procudure.

Service tax register has to be maintained seperately manually, giving details of credit availment and utilisation of credit against the excise duty payment. The format is defined by Central Government.
Service Tax credit is availment of credit on the service tax amount paid to the service providers. This can be availed after the service tax amount is paid to the service providers. The amount of service tax credit that can be availed is accumulated in a clearing account at the time of MIRO. The accounting entry will be
Service Tax Clearing a/c Dr
To Vendor
When the service tax amount is paid to the vendor, the service tax credit can be availed in the books of accounts. The entry at that time will be
Service Tax credit A/c Dr
To Service Tax clearing a/c
This service tax credit so availed can be utilised for the payment of excise duty and the accounting entry will be
Excise Duty Payable A/C Dr
To Service Tax credit A/c

Error while posting with Tax code

Dear All,
I am getting the following error while i am trying to post with a tax code. Can someone tell me what could be the issue?
Customization for RIL j_1iindcus missing in table
Message no. 8I303
Diagnosis
The customization details have not been maintained for this company
Procedure
Please use the localization IMG or Global settings
to maintain the company settings

Dear Suresh,
If you are using versions below 4.7 execute T_Code J1IT, go to India Localization Menu->Global Settings->Company Settings and add an entry for your Company Code and save.
If you are on higher versions use the following path:
SPRO --> Logistics - General --> Tax on Goods Movement --> India --> Basic Settings --> Maintain Company Code Settings.
This should solve the issue.

Please help me for resolving below error..
While saving service sales order error is coming as-
Invalid account assignment category...
Detailed Error-
"Assign components to a/c assignment category & Account Assigmnet Category not defined.
In customisining a/c assgnment cate for ser & mainta order .In standard define the following values for the order category 30.A/c Asd type general F,
A/c *** type Project Q,A/c assigment type Sales Order E,Sales Doc Project D".
