Error while calling RFC when using BSP Web Interface
Hi,
we have a problem with the Authorization when we use an Web Interface for BSP. We have assigned all roles to the user which were mentioned in the SAP standard documentation:
R_AREA
R_METHOD
R_PACKAGE
R_PARAM
R_PLEVEL
R_PM_NAME
R_PROFILE
R_STS_PT
R_STS_SUP
R_WEBITF
S_RS_ADMWB
S_RS_AUTH
S_RS_COMP
S_RS_COMP1
S_RS_DAS
S_RS_ICUBE
but we still get the error message: "Error while calling RFC".
When using a user with SAP_ALL, it works.
What can we do?
Thx for your time.
JoergActually that's surprising - because BSP (Business Server Pages) and RFC (Remote Function Call) are not related; they use totally different transport protocols (http vs. RFC). Even if an BSP application is calling a function module remotely (acting as RFC client) no authorizations for S_RFC are required - in the calling system (but in the called system, i.e. the RFC server).
Since assigning SAP_ALL seems to "cure" the problem, it seems to be an authorization issue, indeed. In that case it makes sense to use the authorization trace (ST01 - notice: that's specific to one single ABAP application server; you might have to activate the trace on multiple instances) to find out which authorizations are checked / demanded. -

Connection error while performing basic settings SOLMAN 4.0 SP12
Hi All,
We are currently facing a problem while performing Solution Manager 4.0 (SP12) basic configurations through the IMG Wizard. Within the "Initial Configuration Part I" section, an error while connecting to SAP is obtained (This is the full error message "Error creating communication to SAP Service and Support"). After checking at TX SM59, it was noticed that the RFC connections SAP-OSS y SAP-OSS-LIST-O01 (what are supposed to be created in previous steps by copying SAPOSS connection) were no created. We created them both manually (also tested) and everything was ok. We started the Wizard again, and the same error was obtained. However, it was noticed that the SAP-OSS RFC connection had been deleted. The system log shows the following:
00789 - Dialog work process No. 000 - XXXXXX - EQUIPO - 1 - SM_CONFIG_WZ - M_CONFIG_WZ_START - T - Transaction Problem - STSK
The same scenario occurs every time the above wizard is used.
It worth to mention that the SAPOSS connection works fine and also, just to perform a test, I was able to download a note correction through the SNOTE transaction.
Where should I check to see what is causing this connection error? Do I missing a previous configuration step?
Also, would be very helpful for us to get an step by step reference guide for SM configuration. We want to be sure we are no missing or mixed up anything.
Thanks so much for your help.

Why do you start configuration for SP12, although most current version is SolMan 7.0 EhP1 SPS19?
What scenarios / functions are you planning to use?

Poojak1) Wrong format, you wont get much support loading OLAP cubes in here I think.
2) Has your CSV file been anywhere near excel by chance the conversion of 20071113121100 to 2.00711E+13 looks very much like what I see when Excel has an invalid number mask / precision specified for a cell.
*** We are using EBS. File was already generated by consultants through SQL query. Getting error while loading though Informatica. Target table is setup as date datatype and source is String(19).
Expression in Informatica is setup as below.

Error while importing RFC schema
Hello Friends,
I am getting the following error while importing the RFC schema in Integration repository from SAP which is on ECC version.
The error I am getting is:
Unable to establish connection to R/3 system 10.238.52.79 (system=03, client=250) Troubleshooting tips:
Is the target system online?
Check the connection data (note that server names and groups are case-sensitive)
Tips for administrators (see the configuration guide for more details):
Does the user have the required authorizations in the target system?
Is the target system configured correctly in "etc/services"?
I checked the target system configuraion as well as user authorization. All the connection parameters are also correct.
Does anybody have idea about the solution to this problem?
Regards,
Nitin.I had this problem before. I had to make an entry with SAPGW03 in my services file on the XI server. the entry should look like
sapgw03 3303
That resolved my problem. If you are working with a XI server on Windowns the file is located in <WINDOWS_DIR>\system32\driver\etc\ directory.

Thanks in Advance,
APLet's start with the basics...
1) You state that you are getting an error. What error do you get? Is this an Oracle error (i.e. ORA-xxxxx)? If so, please include the error number and the error message as well as the triggering statement. Or is the problem that rows are getting written to the reject file and errors are being written to the log file? If so, what record(s) are being rejected and what are the reasons given in the log file? Or perhaps the problem is something else?
2) You state that you are quite sure that the problem relates to the hilighted code. What makes you quite sure of this?

Regrads,
KulwantHi
verify the receiver agreement and also check it out whether receiver message interface is configured properly or not?
or
open ID and goto tools tab in that click on
test configuration by providing your Business service and interface details along with the payload it displays the error message.

Getting error while connect ucm through JAX-WS protocal
HI All ,
please help me to come out form this problem.
I have written the following code in my servlet and when I am trying to call the servlet I am getting following error.
I tried to access 'http://localhost:16200/cs/idcnativews/IdcWebRequestPort?WSDL' urs but I am unable to access it through browser.
Even I went to weblogic console deployment where these webservicess are deployed in mystem when tired to chage the ws plocy for ws I am getting messeg like*This page lists the policy files that are attached to the endpoints and operations of this Web service. The operations are listed below the endpoint; click on the + sign to view them. Click on the endpoint or operation name to attach a policy file. For example, you can specify that the policy file applies only for inbound (request) SOAP messages, and so on.*
You must start the Web Service to be able to view its associated WS-Policy file.
my servlet code is :+
// create the manager
IdcClientManager manager = new IdcClientManager();
// build a client that will communicate using the JAXWS protocol
JaxWSClient jaxwsClient = (JaxWSClient)manager.createClient("http://localhost:16200/cs/idcnativews");
JaxWSClientConfig jaxwsConfig = jaxwsClient.getConfig();
/// set the property
jaxwsConfig.setServerInstanceName("http://localhost:16200/cs/");
jaxwsConfig.setJpsConfigFile("config/fmwconfig/jps-config.xml");
IdcContext userContext = new IdcContext("weblogic");
// create an identity with a password
IdcContext userPasswordContext = new IdcContext("weblogic", "Accenture123");
// get the binder
DataBinder serverBinder = jaxwsClient.createBinder();
// populate the binder with the parameters
serverBinder.putLocal ("IdcService", "GET_SEARCH_RESULTS");
serverBinder.putLocal ("QueryText", "");
serverBinder.putLocal ("ResultCount", "20");
// execute the request
ServiceResponse cmsResponse = jaxwsClient.sendRequest(userContext, serverBinder);
// get the binder
serverBinder = cmsResponse.getResponseAsBinder();
DataResultSet resultSet = serverBinder.getResultSet ("SearchResults");

Thanks in advance,
KishoreThe Site Studio designer that you are using to connect to content sever is not compatible with the SiteStudio component that you have installed.
Install the designer that is inside the site studio component zip and try.
