Error while creating Account ID

Dear SAP Friends,
While creating an Account ID for a House Bank, I am getting the error saying: <u>Entry in field Bank Acct. No. is longer than 09 characters</u>. My Bank account number is of 12 digits. So where I can change the settings from 09 characters to 12 characters to remove this error.

SAP allows bank account # up to 18 charactors, i don't know why you have the error msg.

Foreign Trade data is incomplete error while creating accounting document:

As per your suggestion (you have given an answer for the same question) I have tried to fill up the following fields:
-Business transaction type for foreign trade
-Export/import procedure for foreign trade
-Commodity code /Import code Number for foreign trade
But the system is not accepting it is showing error message again saying that foreign trade data is incomplete.

You need to maintain this data in customization. Menu path:
Materials Management->Purchasing->Foreign Trade & Customs->Transportation Data->Define Modes of Transport.
This data needs to be maintained aagainst country "IN' if the plant is located in India.

Hi all,
I have got an error while creating a PO with an Internal Order. I am trying to post this PO against an Internal Order. The error message says that:
User status BUDG is active (ORD 10034). When I click the perform assistant, it says that according to this status, transaction 'Material purchase order' is not allowed.
Can somebody plss help me in this regards, I will assign points.

What you enter in the Cost element master data is only for defaulting the cost center or order when you use that GL account.
When you see a message transction requires an account assignment, you can enter the relevant cost center for which the cost is incurred.
For your information, If an order has been marked as statistical, you can find it in KO02 change order > Control data. there may be check box saying statistical. If it is not available, then, you can't make it statistical until, you make that field available for change for the order type. Usually orders of a particular type can be made as statistical, by providing a model order to the order type. In the model order you specify that it will be statistical.

I'm getting the following error while creating a sequence -

oracle xml db was installed on this instance.
Is there a way around it? We want oracle xml db installed but we still want to be able to create and drop sequences!

Error while creating new crosstab using

I am getting the following error while creating a new crosstab object within Swing application. This error has started coming after we applied Oracle patch 9206 on database. The error originates from one of the classes in the olap_api_92.jar.

I suspect that you have either not fully applied the patch or alternatively the patching process did not complete.
If you are using an analytic workspace, connect as OLAPSYS account and run the following commands:
exec CWM2_OLAP_METADATA_REFRESH.MR_REFRESH
exec CWM2_OLAP_METADATA_REFRESH.MR_AC_REFRESH
If this does not resolve the error, and assuming your system worked prior to applying the 9206 patch, then the patch may need to be reapplied.

As you are mentioning Material Type is -HAWA
Hawa material will have Valuation class as -Trading material
If we have Not ticked -Value and Qty updating for the HAWA material type then eventhrough we maintain Accounting Views. -In configuration
We get the error as a account assignment cat mandatory.
Please maintain Qty and Value update Tick then you can create PO

That is an error I would expect with the account running the cmdlet not having local administrator rights to the server.

then go to transaction code OB14 --> enter the FSV --> Check if field status group G006(Material account) is maintained there or not.

Try the following in the ERP backend system:
Standard Hierarchy Inconsistencies
Issue: one Cost Center is repeating in more than one node in Cost Center Standard Hierarchy.
Update from SAP Global support, the following was the email received:
in transaction KSH3 please run both the ambiguity and completeness check(Menu -> Extras -> Check and Help functions).
If you think that your standard hierarchy is inconsistent you can check that as following:
Run transaction Extras -> Hierarchy - Master data -> Test. The result shows you if there are in consistencies. If that is the case run also Extras -> Hierarchy - Master data -> Comparison.
Alternatively, you can run the report 'RKCORRH1' (TN SE38).
Run both the Hierarchy->Master data->test and the
Hierarchy->Master data->comparison.
As stated above inconsistency message showed after Test. Run the comparison and you get a similar message.
Once the above two are run, again when you go to test, the inconsistency disappears.

Please make a try with the following but I am not sure whether it will solve your problem.
Go to FS00, give the G/L account which has the problem and select "Control Data" tab. Here punch as asterisk in the field "Tax category" and save.
Now try to create the excise invoice.

In Cost Elements (Data is Dependent on Controlling Area), please go to extras and check your controlling area while creating the cost element, and make sure if u r creating Primary CE, it has been created as a G/L account and also make sure you use correct CE Category.
