Error while creating CVC manually in SCM 7.0

Hi Experts,
We have recently upgraded to SCM 7.0 sandbox and while creating a new CVC manually in this , we are getting the following strange error:
Internal Error /SAPAPO/SCMB_PSTRU_PLOB_TEMPL=>RAISE_EXCEPTION_FRO
Message no. /SAPAPO/SCMB_PSTRU000
We have run the CONS CHECK for POS and PA both and reinitialised the planning area as well but no success.
Your advice in this regards would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
SAUMIL SHAH

Hi SAUMIL SHAH
It looks like POS TEMPLATE coding seems to has problem.
For each POS, there are special programs are generated from tempalte coding.
I guess current coding that your POS has seems to have problem.
to regenerate the code, I recommend you to re-activate pos.
go to /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN -> display pos ->select activate. (by conducting addtional activation,
generated coding might be fixed).
Best Regards
Keiji

• Error while creating CVC in background in SCM 7.0

Hi Experts,
I'm running creation of CVC in background, but the job is getting cancelled. In job log I can find below error messages.
Message Text : Internal Error /SAPAPO/SCMB_PSTRU_PLOB_TEMPL=>RAISE_EXCEPTION_FRO
Message class : /SAPAPO/SCMB_PSTRU
Message No :000
We have run the CONS CHECK for POS
Your advice in this regards would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Manasa

Hi Manasa,
What is your source for creation of CVC? Are you trying to create CVCs from infocube?
Could you try out the following to identify the root cause?
In the create CVC (/sapapo/mc62) variant, uncheck the check boxes for all the 3 checks at bottom of the variant, and also uncheck the "adjust time series objects" checkbox.
Come to "selection condition", and select one or few CVCs from your source (Infocube, or flat file, whatever).
Then try to run the job, which should only create one or few CVCs as per your selection criteria.
If you are able to create CVCs in this way, that could mean that you might be having some issue during some check or generation of time series. Delete the created CVCs and again try to create them by activating the checks one by one.
If the above helps in identification of the issue, then it might be possible to attack and resolve the issue e.g. special character, etc.
PS: You could also try the "load to worklist" option to try to identify the CVC having issue. There you can specify one or few CVCs to be created in one go, and this might help in identifying if there is an issue with a certain CVC.
Thanks - Pawan

• Error while creating a Development plan template

Hi Gurus,
I am facing errors while creating Development Plan Template.
This is how it goes :
When i click on Define Forms for Talent Assessment --> a wizard pops up & i select Development Plan :
In first step, I am giving Title,Integration with SAP Learning Solution (check) & a rating scale.
Now after clicking next, I am adding 2 development areas :
1) Training
2) Mentoring,
now as soon as I'm clicking on End Configuration, It displays 2 errors & 1 warning message :
error1 : Element Appraisal Template 'XXXXX' contains errors.Cannot change status.
error2 : Value type 000000XXX of value class Q does not exists
Warning 1 : You have maintained a description that is not displayed.
In PHAP_CATALOG, when I'm trying to manually release the Criterion Group (VB) or Appraisal template (VA), it does not allow me to do it.
Kindly let me know how to proceed further.
Regards
bharti

Hi,
Even though it gives the error, the new RTF template is uploaded and it is reflected when I query the template again.
But when I run the Concurent program and see the output, the output still shows me the old template.

• Error while creating a new asset in BCC.

Getting below errors while creating a new asset(catalog/category) through BCC. I have imported the required data from CIM and install.bat from BIZUI.

atg.web.viewmapping.ItemMappingException: Invalid Mapping Mode: AssetManager.default
[Flex Messaging] 12/05/2013 14:50:45.486 [ERROR] [Message.Remoting] Error processing remote invocation: atg.flex.service.RemoteOperationException: java.lang.NullPointerException
Kindly suggest...

As u imported data from CIM for production and publishing(assuming u imported for both), There is no need to run BIZUI.bat mannually, CIM runs this.
Coming to ur error:
From the logs it seems that following mapMode is missing, It's OOTB and should have been loaded while Viewmapping repository data load.
<add-item item-descriptor="mapMode" id="AmMmDef">
<set-property name="name"><![CDATA[AssetManager.default]]></set-property>
</add-item>
I think there must have been problems during CIM data for publishing environment loading and because of that viemmapping is not loaded properly.
Refer to this post for initial data load : Re: ATG ENVIRONMENT SETUP ISSUE
Let us know if u didn't load publishing using CIM, there is some manual work required to load some repository.
Thanks,
Nitin.

Now the weird thing is this. He got this error, and the user WAS STILL added to our user lists. This doesn't happen all the time, as in the logs he created a user minutes before this one and he did not receive any errors.
This is just something that we do not want to have happen. Does anyone have any idea of what may have caused this and what I can do to prevent this from happening again.
I cannot find any info on this BEA-423137 error anywhere on the site and I was wondering if someone would be able to help me out.
Thanks,
Garret

Nevermind everyone. I figured out that I can do a manual change and just add the user to one of the groups and everything should be ok. Something happened silently within the system that caused it.

Hi Manasa,
What is your source for creation of CVC?

Hi,
Please check the note 493422. The reports listed in the note
should correct the inconsistencies and afterwards you can re-import the
request and it should then work.

• Error while creating document numbering series via SDK add on

Dear Experts,
We receive the following error while creating the document numbering series through the SDK add on
[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]The incoming tabular data stream (TDS) remote procedure call (RPC) protocol stream is incorrect. Too many parameters were provided in this RPC request. The maximum is 2100.
From the above error message I can suspect the following possibilities
1. The limit for the document numbering must be less or equal to 2100.
2. There is a problem in the coding in SDK where it does not allow more than 2100 lines in the database.
We tried to create manually for the same fiscal year and period indicator disconnecting the add on, the same error occured.
Then we created a seried for a single document with the period indicator for the next fiscal year, it allowed.
After creating the document numbering for the next fiscal year, we were able to create the numbering for the previous year also.
Kindly help us on how to solve the same.
With regards,

Hi
You have, as far as i can determine without seeing the template, defined no Part Appraiser Column (PAPP) in your template. But you have defined a function on the template to automaticly default the part appraisers.
On the Appraisal document persons (appraiser / appraisee) are getting defaulted as part-appraisers although no part appraisal column excist, and therefor 00 Part Appraisers are allowed. This gives the error. Remove the Part Appraisers default functionality from the template and this problem will be solved.
FYI: The reason why this doesn't give a business check error is that the functions to default participants are BAdI's and we have no means of determining wether or not a BAdI implentation will create an inconsistency on the appraisal document.
Also, the reason that it occurs as a S message and not as E or W is because of programming restrictions in combination with messages. All errors on the Appraisal Document will come as 'S' messages.

• "Sales area is not defined" error while creating IBD

Hi All,
We are getting the below error while creating IBD:
Sales area is not defined
No inbound delivery created for the replenishment delivery 0089799561
We are trying to create IBD from OBD.
We have the Z output type ZPED, which is basically same functionality as SPED.
When we trigger the ZPED in OBD, an idoc will be triggered and IBD will be created automatically.
Here in this case, we are getting the error when ZPED is triggered and we are seeing this error from the processing log of that output.
Below is the details of the processing log of failed ZPED:
Object 0089799561
Output type: Stk.Transf.CrteDeliv
Processing log for program /SPE/STO_ID_PROCESSING routine STO_ID_CREATI
Sales area is not defined
No inbound delivery created for the replenishment delivery 0089799561
ZPED is triggered by a batch job in the system but when we are trying to manually trigger it, it got successful.
Please suggest what can be the root cause of it.

First of all, please avoid using abbreviated words which is not encouraged here. Second, what is the Business process that warrants you to create inbound delivery against outbound delivery. Whenever you post here and expect assistance from members, please ensure you provide maximum details with regard to business process and what you had configured so that it will be easy for others to understand.
