Error while creating datasource in planing. very urgent

while configuring a datasource he gets an error failed to authenticate user admin against NYULDAP .
this error her gets after entering the datasource name as EDPM_EDU in the config utility for confuguring a datasource..
please hellp asap..
i checkd the configuration.log too and found this..

am wondering how then whts the point in knowing the username and pwd if i give edit datasource .

I am facing an error message while creating datasource from table MBEWH
"Invalid extract structure template MBEWH of DataSource "; This operation failed, because the template structure quantity fields or currency fields, for example, field LBKUM refer to a different table.
Can anyone help me that why system is not allowing me to generate generic datasource for table MBEWH to transfer my month wise inventory data.

      This was comming for classification data... when ever you want to extract some classification related data then we can't create generic datasources directly.. for that you need to go with CTBW ( tcode ) and   create one datasource...
   so, you need to check that   related table also.. for that MBEWH table..
    ALL THE CLASSIFICATION RELATED DATASOURCES WE CAN'T CREATE DIRECTLY... JUST LIKE AUSP table also.. liek this..

i also used the weblogic jar to do a db ping.. and it errored out with the above error. however if i db ping from any other app server it works... below is the success response from another server and the command used..

I could not create the datasource on the database table BSIS as it said "Invalid extract structure template BSIS of Datasource". I had suggestions that I should create a view and then create the Datasource on it. So I created the view and tried. But still I am facing an error message while creating datasource from custom Database View ZBSIS_VIEW.

Yes. You need a create a view on tables BSIS, BKPF and T001 as the currency/quantity fields in BSIS have reference fields from the other 2 tables.
In BSIS, in the currency/quantity fields tab, you have some ref tables and fields. You would need to include these tables and join in the view. You would also need to include the ref fields like WAERS, HWAE2, HWAE3, etc in the view. Then you would be able to create the datasource.

While creating an vendor invoice by FB60 . the system is giving me an error message that this account cannot be directly posted to. Its an recon . Account. The user wants me to set it temporarily for some invoices and set back the GL account later on. Could anyon esuggest me. Its urgent please.

the acct 12501550 which is advance payments is an accrual acct which is not a recon a/c
check the gl seetings
in Type and Description tab
make sure its a balance sheet acc
in Control tab
remove the recon. account for acct type , i.e., leave the field blank
generally , the line item display is clicked and sort key are filled.
in Create/bank/interest Tab
check the appropriate FSG and make sure to uncheck the post automatically field.
and try to post it after the changes, it shoud work.

In DB connect we need to use same user name and pswd (used to access DB) for BI also while creating datasource is this the same concept with UD connect?. I have seen lots of posts on this issue in SDN but there are no replies. I have tested RFC connection in SM59 and also RFC destination name its in capital letters. Source system connection is also ok. while creating datasource in extraction tab i got stucked as I am unable to select UD source objects. If you can elaborate more on this thats really helpful, I apprecaite your time and help. I will definetely assign full points if it shows me some way to resolve this.

I was try to create genric extracter where i was getting error
While creating view genric extracter where i am getting error "Entry A ZV_ZFRT does not exist in DD02L - check your entry".
My requirement is need to create extracter which is getting populated from three modules like SD,MM,FI/CO.From these three module i am using several tables and some of the tables don't have relation btween these tables as like foreign key and refrence key.
Which extracter i need to create as given scenario?

Hi,
Rather than writing a program write a function module. Create a structure and include all the necessary fields in the structure. Then in the function module write the logic to extract the values for those fields. While creating the datasource specify the function module and structure name.

I have manually created the Characteristics Group AFS characteristics for categories. Is this will automatically updated or while installing the Add On.

Utilities > API method > add a method
on after adding a function modile name in there, when i click on the tick mark..
