Error while creating Info Package

Hi,
I am new to SAP-BW .Could anyone help me in fixing the following error .
I have created an Info source for characteristic data and then trying to create a Infopackage to load master data , I have used the characteristic Material Number(IO-MAT) in this case .
When creating the Info Package I got two data sources in the pop up , Material number (Master data)IO_MAT_ATTR and Material number (Texts) IO_MAT_TEXT .
I was able to load data from a flat file into Data Source Material Number (Master data) But when I was trying to follow the same procedure and load the data for 'Material number(Texts) IO_MAT_TEXT' it gives me the following error .
Select the Language field in the source system -> Long Text
I am not able to figure out and proceed further. Pls help me out.

I have another question..I was able to fix the error regarding info package but unable to load the data..(data load is being failed)
In the DataSource/Transfer Structure I have LANGU , /BIC/ZB4_MAT (Material Number infoobject which i created) and TXTSH Fields ..
the flat file which i used has Language, MaterialNumber,description pattern alone..
(eg . E , M001,cookie ) and when i try to load this data..and check in the Monitor - Administration Workbench..it shows as unsuccessful..
The following error msg :
Error message when processing in the Business Warehouse
Diagnosis
An error occurred in the SAP BW when processing the data. The error is documented in an error message.
System response
A caller 01, 02 or equal to or greater than 20 contains an error meesage.
I could'nt see the long text of Help information...
could you help me out in figuring out this..

I have replicated the data source 0fi_gl_10 into sap bw but while creating info package i am getting error " The DataSource 0FI_GL_10(E01CLNT200) does not exist in object version A". IS the manual activation always should be done for that ?

Hi,
Please check if the veriosn of DataSource is A or not. Sometimes it shows as active but if you open the datasource then it might be in modified version only. Do activate it manually, it will serve your purpose to create a infopackge.

Info object may be a maximum of 000060 digits...... what would be the error?

Hi,
The maximum length supported by one CHAR type infoobject is 60. Check whether you have assigned more.
If you have to load more length ( more than 60) split the total thing into different infoobjects. Create different infoobjects and split the total thing into them - like 1st 60 char in 1st infoobject, char 61-120 in 2nd infoobject and so on. Then you can again concatenate them.

Update mode options while creating info package

Hi all .
while creating info package in update tab we have different radio buttons as
FULL UPDATE,DELTA UPDATE,INTIALIZE DELTA PROCESS. could you pls explain this optons.

Hi Sami,
We have two update modes 1)Full update 2)Init Load(to enable delta)
Full Load --->Master data Load
Init Load----->Transaction data Load.
Full Update-To load Historical Data.
Init-This is done to enable the Delta Upload.
Delta will be done only if the Init has happened.
For deltas they are Data source specific which are delta enabled.
1. Full Load (Extracts whole data available in source)
2. Initialization (without data transfer): Enables only delta and no data.
3. Initialization with data: Extracts whole data from source and enables delta.
4. Delta: Extracts only modified or new data.
Above modes works for Master as well as Transaction also.

Error while creating Info Spoke....

Hi,
I am facing one problem while creating Info Spoke.I have 4 DSO which included in one Infoset & that infoset incluede in one Multiprovider. I want to creat info spoke on this Multiprovider.But when i changed the tab or at time of save & activate it gaves me error as "InfoObject ZCGNCRM2___F100 is not available in version A". I checked this info-obj.its already in active version. I reactivate it.I reactivate infoset & multiprovider also.But still exist this error.
Please suggest me any solutuion.

Check this info object is included in any of your DSO or Info set and Multi provider.If yes check all are active or not.
activate the info object once again using program RSDG_IOBJ_ACTIVATE and activate your Info spoke

Error while creating a package

When I am creating a package which has 3 procedures(x,y,z) I am getting an error saying "Subprogram or Cursor "y" is declared in a package specification and must be defined in the package body. I have put the code in the package body script but I keep getting this error. Please Help.

Surely we will if you can paste the code and the error that you get. Remember to paste the code between[b] [pre] and [/pre] tags to retain the format.

Error while activating info package.

Dear all,
While creating and activating the infopackage, system throws the message"Table /BIC/B0001524000 is too long (>004030)"
What could be cause for this error.How to analyse and correct the error.

If your infosource is too long containing too many infoobjects or lengthy infoobjects you will get this error. To correct this you have to reduce the length of infoobjects used in the infosource or remove unwanted infoobjects in the infosource.
Then this error will not appear.This is a SAP standard restriction

Error while running info package

I am getting a error while loading the data till PSA.
Transfer structure field not contained in the data source.

Hi,
The error is coming because you added some fields in communication structure which are not available in data source. Probably you have enhanced the data source and you added the enhanced object in communication structure but data source is not replicated to match with enhanced data filed.

ORA-12571 error while creating packages from Windows clients

Hello,
We are facing the ORA-12571 error while creating / replacing packages from Windows Clients connected to a 8.1.7.2.0 db on a Solaris server.
However, there are
1. no errors in connecting and creating transactions from a Sql session
2. no errors in creating / replacing unwrapped/wrapped small (few lines) packages
3. no errors in connecting from a Unix session (remote telnet sessions inclusive).
This happens only when creating wrapped/unwrapped packages, source code of which is greater than 500 kb approx.
Can somebody help me resolve this issue. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Update: I had unintentionally left my custom tablespace in READONLY state after an earlier experiment with transportable tablespaces. After putting the tablespace back into READ WRITE mode and creating a new template, I was successfully able to create a new db from the template.
I'm still a little curious why this procedure wouldn't work properly with a READONLY tablespace, however.

How to check error whilce creating a package

I am getting an error while creating a package, individually query is running ok but in package it is showing an error. is there any way to check the error. I am using in TOAD Quest Scriptrunner

What kind of error you got? A syntactical one or a logical one? Your schema should have following rights to debug package:
GRANT DEBUG CONNECT SESSION,
DEBUG ANY PROCEDURE TO <Your_Schema><i>
I am using in TOAD Quest Scriptrunner</i>

Dump error while creating or double click the info package

Hello experts,
I have actived infocube 0FIAR_C03 in BI content. Ago, The creation infopackage have been deleted in the past , today, I created a infopackage, while I update mode selected u2018initialize delta processu2019, then click save button , the system prompt u2018Deltas already loaded for request REQU_D64R47LDUSZHY9CBIB86WMLFJ init.selection; no 2. initu2019, I canoti save it for my setting. Why is this?
Then I have search cause in SDN, and I have reference OSS Note 852443 to do .
Note 852443 have mention some table: RSSELDONE、RSSDLINIT、RSSDLINITSEL、ROOSPRMSC、ROOSPRMSF.
I have to delete that request of record using se16 in these tables: RSSELDONE、RSSDLINIT、RSSDLINITSEL.
in my BI 7.0 system, ROOSPRMSC、ROOSPRMSF is no any data.
I was no found delta queue in RSA7.
Now . Dump error while creating or double click the info package, how can I change this?
Please let me know the solution.

Dump Error while Creating the Info Package

Hi,
I have created Customized ODS and used Generic data sources.I have loaded full Upload to ODS. Created Info Packages for Init delta and Delta for delta loading. I have ran Full Upload and while I am trying to run Init, I am getting the error.
While I am trying to open the Info Package, I am getting Dump error message.
Dump error Message :
What happened?
    The current application program detected a situation which really
    should not occur. Therefore, a termination with a short dump was
    triggered on purpose by the key word MESSAGE (type X).
While i am trying to Create New Info Package, the systems gives the Dump on the System
Please help on this issue.

Hi,
Actually, when we want to have delta loads in future, then we can just have one infopackage with init delta infopackage, so that when it runs for the first time, it pulls all the records and from next time onwards it will pull the delta records only.
But as you have done the full load with infopackage, now just create a delta infopackage, no need of init delta infopackage, this is the reason, its giving dump.
Hope it has given some insight.

Capacity planning is not possible for this info structure S504
Message no. MA489
Diagnosis
In the planning parameters for info structure S504, no key figure for capacity planning has been entered.
Procedure
If you want to capacity planning to be possible for this info structure, you need to enter a capacity key figure in the planning parameters for the info structure in the Implementation Guide.
The info structure which i used here is created by me. Can any one help me to overcome this error

It's a total mess. You need to read the documentation first.
Create your table separately

end;If you want to create the GTT inside the procedure(should be avoided) then Use EXECUTE IMMEDIATE.
By the way, where are you using the IN parameter ? It' unnecessary.
