Error While Creating Iview?

Hi Everyone,
I Got the error while creating iview in the portal.
Just i went Portal COntent->Folder->New->Iview
500   Internal Server Error
SAP NetWeaver Application Server 7.00/Java AS 7.00
Failed to process request. Please contact your system administrator.

Is this a new installation. Check whether all post installation tasks (like patch upgrade) are completed.
Also try restarting the server.

His another one EP 6.4 worked fine.
and libs i am using appropriated only,

The problematic part is the (first) space character within the parameter
TarTitle=Portal Content Management
You'd have to examine why this is not escaped.

Hi,
I have created a iView of type BEx Web Application iView
the steps are
1st selected SAP NetWeaver BI
then in parameter tab i have provided TEMPLATE=mytemplateid which i have copied from my bi report url.
the bi system is already maintained in portal but when i am trying to preview the iView its getting error.

I have created one Dynpage portal component, in that i would like to utilize collaboration API.

You have to add the following jars apart from the jars you have mentioned
1. kmc.util.core_api.jar
2. umapi.jar
To find jar files

Download and install the JAR Finder. how to is mentioned in this <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/2951">Weblog</a>. see what jar is required by copying the com.sap.ip.BaseException from the error "compilation unit references................." and put the "BaseException" in the jar finder and search. from the given options select the correct jar "com.sap.ip.BaseException" right click and add to the project. You can add all the jars required by this method.

use the BaseException etc the errors you get in NWDS to search for the jar. paste the BaseException and search in jarfinder.

I am trying to create an iview in Portal 6.0 & while creating iview getting following error

12:25:04 - An editor is already open for this object. Use the controls in the editor to change the editing mode.
Can anyone pls guide me in solving this proble ? What could be the reson for this error ? I am logging with administrator.

Hi Smita,
The error shows that Editor is already open in other session for this iview.
Have you checked whether this iview got locked ?
To unlock the iview.Go to System admin->Monitoring->Portal->Object locking
there you can unlock the object.

Hi Kirran,
Please see if you have defined a status scheme and assigned it to the recipe type. Before defining a status scheme, you must complete the one time IMG activity 'Collect Object Types and Assigned Attributes' under Recipe Development > Status Management. Then in the next node you define individual statuses and a scheme with transitions. For each status, you must define 'field value' for the field RCP_USAGE which is nothing but a value from Recipe Purposes customizing.

Error while creating a PO

Hi all,
I have got an error while creating a PO with an Internal Order. I am trying to post this PO against an Internal Order. The error message says that:
User status BUDG is active (ORD 10034). When I click the perform assistant, it says that according to this status, transaction 'Material purchase order' is not allowed.
Can somebody plss help me in this regards, I will assign points.

What you enter in the Cost element master data is only for defaulting the cost center or order when you use that GL account.
When you see a message transction requires an account assignment, you can enter the relevant cost center for which the cost is incurred.
For your information, If an order has been marked as statistical, you can find it in KO02 change order > Control data. there may be check box saying statistical. If it is not available, then, you can't make it statistical until, you make that field available for change for the order type. Usually orders of a particular type can be made as statistical, by providing a model order to the order type. In the model order you specify that it will be statistical.
