When I am creating a Maint Plan, I am getting error
No packages have yet been assigned to the maintenance item 143
Message no. IP364
How do I solve this??

While creating Task List, for all operations u have to maintain the maintenance packages. According to the Maint. Pack only it will schedule the operations and release the order for the particulaer interval...
under operation tab
left side bottom conner... click it and you cna assign...

There is no std config to acheive this. Please use IPRM0004 Maintenance plan/item: Customer check for "Save" to accomplish the same.

Error while creating a Planned Order

Hi SAP Experts,
I have an error encountered while creating a Planned Order which is "Mode linkage problem with mode number".
Diagnosis:
An application program called an LCA routine and the following error occurred:
An order has at least one condition with mode linkage with the same mode number. The activities of this condition must have compatible modes. The modes are compatible when each mode of one activity has a mode for the other activity with the same mode number. The first activity that violates the condition is given in the return code table in ABAP.
Please enlighthen me what is this error and what should be done to this error.

Check the PPM or PDS being used in the Planned Order.
Most likely you have a Setup Activity followed by Produce Activity. However the Mode (i.e. Resource) used in the two activities are different. The same Mode needs to be used both in Setup and corresponding Produce activity.

This is due to the configuration error,
Just use T.Code OP50
Create an entry for task list type "Q" with material type "ZROH" and save,
Then try creating a Quality Inspection Plan, it will work

Error while creating manual planned order in apo

Dear expert
While I am creating manual planned order i am getting error as message /sapapo/rrp251
Every thing is correct BOM and PV's no error after consistency check and it getting succesfully transffered to APO and it is also visible in APO
But while creating manual planned orders planned order are not getting generated I am using BLock planning with PPDS
Please help How to resolve it

The error message /SAPAPO/RRP251 - Error occurred while creating order means While creating an order, the system encountered problems, such as, for example, no available components or components that are available late, orders that could not be scheduled, and so on.
I think system attempted to solve the availability problems by using alternative procurement options. This was not successful. The order could not be created. Check the exceptional situations in the planning protocol, under Goto -> Planning log, and deal with the causes of the exceptional situations if this is possible or necessary.

Error while creating Maintenance order

Hi,
While creating Maintenance order with any order type (PM01,PM02 & PM03) & entering material in component Tab, the system is giving this Error 'Entry does not exist,check your entry'
The used material is already maintained in the Material Master with all necessary information.
Kindly suggest the best possible solution for this problem.

    Input values must be defined in Table MARA. The value or values ' ' are
    not specified in this table.
Procedure
    Check whether the input is correct and correct if necessary.
Procedure for System Administration
    If this is not an incorrect entry, check the system settings and change
    them if necessary.
    If there is a connection to the Customizing system, you can maintain the
    system settings by choosing Maintain entries (F5)

Kindly tell me how to check whether the cost sheet is maintained as integrated planning for this year. i have check in my customised setting from the following menu path controlling -> General Controlling ->Maintain version->Maintain setting for each fiscal year (version maintained is plan/actual version). It means you are sending down the same characteristic to an external system like LIMS more then once.
I believe this is a warning. Not a hard error but I'm not 100%sure.

I suspect that this is caused by an "incorrect" datasource definition when you create a new one.
I noticed that when I created an Essbase DB through the Essbase Enterprise Admin Service, it only allowed me to create one for localhost, not my server name EVEN if when the "Manage Data Source" validated the connection.
This points to one of the myriad of apps inconsistently trying to resolve a server name.
So, in EAS, see if you can connect to your local Essbase install and if successful, use the exact same params for you Workspace Application.

I created a maintenance plan.I scheduled the order and i saved.
Now when i tried to see the schedule i am getting a message

Error When Creating Maintenance Plan

Hi, recently I upgraded to sql server 2008 R2 from sql 2008, everything went OK and my server is up and running since 10 days.
This evening I wanted to modify a maintenance plan that backs up all DBs which I run on command, I started to get "MSSQL server management Studion is unable to load this document: SSIS object name is invalid. More specific errors would have been raised explaining
the exact naming problem".
I tried creating a new one, directly and using the wizard, I get a dialogbox error :

It turns out that the unregistered COM in dts.dll located in
in command line chnge directory to this path C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Binn
run the following from the command line:
REGSVR32.EXE dts.dll
disconnect from management studio and reconnect, it shld work now

I have 2 tables
zemp and zdept and also i have defined foriegn key relationship between this two tables using a comman field DEPTNO. when i trying to create Maintenance View, its showing the following error

Hi sri,
First open se11 and go for views and select maintainence views and copy then it shows screen asking table name here first its enough if u specify one table and go for relationships then you can have pop up showing that what are the tables having relations wiht your basic table if it shows that 2 tables then it is correct if not something wrong in when you assigned foregin key to the table.

Errors while creating Inspection plan using BAPI_INSPECTIONPLAN_CREATE

Hi All,
I am writing an upload tool for inspection plans. In this program I use bapi: BAPI_INSPECTIONPLAN_CREATE.
I made an extraction of a excisting inspection plan with SXDA_TOOLS which uses the same bapi and filled the bapi structures with the similar data. Now I am getting strange messeges in the return structure as below.
1. Material is not maintained for plant NNNN. But the material is mainained for that plant.
2. Consistency check not successful when creating operation
3. Inspection characteristic cannot be uniquely assigned to one operation

Error while creating a planning connection in FR

Hi John,
I was creating a database connection to Planning from FR studio and encountered the following error
Error connecting to database connection TestPln: Error: Error getting CSS support information for driver [com.hyperion.ap.hsp.HspAdmDriver]
My Plnning and FR are on the same server.
Version is 11.1.1.3.0.956.
Please suggest

Has it ever worked? If it did and nothing has changed then it is worth restarting the services.
Anyway it is worth having a look on Oracle Support as there a few documents on there with the same type of issue.
