Error while creating PO using monitor shopping cart

Hi all,
We are facing one issue while creating the PO in SRM using the monitor shopping cart node. The system is throwing an error message stating that u201CEnter Tax Codeu201D because of this we are not able to proceed further. Can anyone knows why this error message is showing. I debugged the code but I couldnu2019t find out from where this message is triggering. Which BADI / FM is called up at this point giving this error message..?
Any point on this will highly appreciated .

Does your business has practice to enter a tax details in basic data of sc since this below configuration brings the tax settings in shopping for all type of shopping carts
SPRO>Supplier Relationship Management>SRM Server>Cross-Application Basic Settings>Tax Calculation-->Determine System for Tax Calculation - What is the existing settings?
if it so the basic data , you can find tax details otherwise not.
if there is a setting like no tax determination, you need to check the given vendor data whether ERS is flaged or not.
since ERS flag equires tax data.

i have created a sample fm and am passing sample values that i got by debugging the standard portal and badi(bbp_doc_change_badi) together, to create a confirmation.
I am getting the following error in the process,while debugging, in the lt_messages table:
GUID or object type of the reference document is missing
(BBP_PD msg no. 081)
I also tried passing the sample values i got for guid and object type from bbp_pd but that too dint help.
PS : the standard FM am calling in my sample FM is BBP_PD_CONF_CREATE.
Please suggest a solution for this error.

Confirmation can be created against Purchase Order. But I believe you are tyring to create against shopping cart.
Kindly confirm.
So, Please fill the reference object type and guid of PO.

You need to enable the PerformancePoint Service Site Collection Features(PPSMonDatasourceCtype)
on the target site collection. go to site action > site settings> site collections features > and enable it and now try again.

Hello experts,
We have upgraded from SRM 4.0 to SRM 5.0 SRM SRM server 550. In monitor shopping cart using 'created by' to search shopping carts, users could usually enter their username. After the upgrade however users need to enter their empoyee number. So they first use the search functionality (binoculars) to search for their name afterwihich the field will be filled with their employee number. Does anybody know how to change that ? So users will be able to enter their username again to search for their own shopping carts ?

I notice that in the package you used the application user_name=CHUNDUK calls the API pa_project_pub.create_project.
I wonder if you used chunduk as database user to execute the package Or you used APPS to execute the package?
The APi document states that it is a requirement to create a db username as the same name with the application username.
I have been running the problem to execute API 's delete project and try to figure what could be my problem.

Iam trying to create Resource using GDS and it is throwing me error

Error while creating Routing using LSMW

I am trying to create LSMW using Direct Input Method .
My structures are ::
RC271_DS Work center structure for direct input (for datasets)
RC27M_DS Material master view DIRECT INPUT routing for datasets
PLKO_DI_DS Header structure for direct input (for datasets)
PLPO_DI_DS Routing/item structure for direct input (for datasets.
I getting correct data from multiple flat files .
It's converting the data also .
But while executing start direct input method i am getting the followig error ....
You cannot edit the task list object with activity type
Please let me know problem guys .

It means you have to assign the task list type to material type ZPRD. Then it will carry its job:
The path is:
Go To-> SPRO-> IMG Activity-> Production-> Basic Data-> Routing-> General Data---> Define Material Type Assignments. T-Code: OP50

Error while creating BOM using BAPI 'BAPI_BOM_UPLOAD_SAVE'

Hi All,
We are getting an error as 'Data is incomplete' while trying to create BoM using the bapi 'BAPI_BOM_UPLOAD_SAVE', if the item contains Item category as 'T'. But for other item category like 'L' or 'N', the bapi is sucessfull.
The values that we pass to fill the item category 'T' are operation, item_cat, bom_itm_no, COMPON_QTY, FIXED_QTY as 'X', UNMEAS as 'ST', ITEM_TEXT1 and ITEM_TEXT2.
Anyone who has faced same problem or has a solution to the problem, kindly provide a solution.

The error you receive is because of different config for different Item Categories. Find out from the functional team what fields have they kept mandatory for the item category 'T'. You may not be passing one of those fields in the BAPI.
Try creating a BOM manually for item category 'T' and you may figure our which field you are missing.

Did you change any of the text in the lob write statements ?
I believe you get this error if you increase the number of characters without increasing the 1st argument which looks as though it represents the number of characters

Error while creating filter using BD59 and BD64

Hi Friends-
While creating filters for HRMD_A message type using BD59 i have added one field stat2 for segment
E1P0000 and its coming also in BD64 while creating filter group but when i double click on it to give value to it it gives me error ' Inconsistency in ' .
what could be the reason pls let me know ?

Hi,
Try to distribute the model view in BD64 ( Edit->ModelView->Distribute). you can check for technical inconsistencies for message type in Transaction BDM5

I have generated the java client stub from the um_workflowSaveCreateProfile.wsdl file successfully and I have developed one client code to call the web service to create user in Oracle Internet Directory.
I am invoking one workflow for creation of the user which accepts four attributes (sn, cn, uid, userPassword),it is working fine when sn, cn, uid attributes are mandatory only, but if I make userPassord as mandatory, it is showing me error : Not all of the required parameters for this operation were specified.

Hi,
I guess, create workflow does not accept the password attribute while creating user account.
You have to create the account using createprofile web service then update the password using changeprofile web service.
I think this limitation is strategic, if you have password policies enabled, policies are applied to the container of the accounts.
So OAM needs to have the DN of the user account to check if there are any password policies associated with the container during password updates,
which might not be possible while using createProfile web service.

While pulling the MDM catalog to shopping cart, i am getting a error "No logical system for FI is maintained".
i have maintained the org structure..in the attribute i have given the logicla system..but somehow i am getting the error.
Please let me know if you have any solution

Check with your basis team.
"No logical system for FI is maintained".
1)Check in the PPOSA_BBP --Attritubute for the FI and maintain the Logical Backend system
2)for Backend system -SAP R/3 (or) ECC 6.0 you have not maintained the Logical system.
3) check the product category for which GL account is maintained in the Config

Yes, we could resolve the issue.
But we used to get this errror when we set the debugger in
the newly implemented code.
If we remove the debugger, it was working fine.
Solution:
Go to transaction SICF.
If you execute that, a tree structure will appear.
Expand "Default Host".
Default Host>SAP>BC->GUI>SAP-> ITS-> BBPSC02
Go to EDIT mode.
Change GUI configuration as below:
Like other available parameters, add one more parameter called
~GENERATEDYNPRO and make it equal to 1.
i.e. ~GENERATEDYNPRO = 1.
But we tried this solution only when debugger was on.
Please check it in your case also and let me know if it works.
The other solution may be to publish the required template again.But I am not sure about that.
