Error while creating Sale Order
Hi,
When I am creating a Cash Sale Order using VA01, I am getting the below error after SAVE
'Express document "Update was terminated" received from author', document number is showing up but not getting saved.
This error is coming up in testing system and not in development system. Can some one please help me to know why this error comes up?

'Express document "Update was terminated" received from author', i have seen this error before.I encountered this error in CRM when i was developing a Zprogram that creates a sales order in CRM and the only solution at that time was, i corrected the Zprogram as it was missing some data in the logic.
Second time i saw the error was when i was trying to create charactreistics for VC material in CT04 in ECC.
and at that time there was a broken connection of RFC between CRM and ECC systems and once the RFC and Middleware paramters are corercted b/w the 2 systems the error dissaperaed.
So in your case....... what i am thinking is there must me some change in the settings b/w testing and dev systems.
just check for configuration setings.

Error while creating sales order
while creating sales order for a particular plant there is error coming
NO NUMBER RANGE FOR DOC TYPE ZOS1VXBAK-AUARTSILD
PLANTXVBAK-VKBUR.
Intailly I have check the no series we have internal no series for all plant,the
number series which start 195000001, only one plant the giving the above error, rest all plant it is as applicable above series.

This is regarding number ranges defining and assigning tips which you can follow as below:
Whenever there is a new Sales Org being created, you will be required to maintain Number Ranges for Sales Documents which are allowed for your New Sales Area.
Number Ranges can be maintained Internally by the system, however it can be maintained externally also if you customize it accordingly.
In Standard SAP the Transaction code for Maintaiing Number ranges externally is VN01.
Defining - The same can be reached through in IMG as : Sales & Distribution>Sales>Sales Document Header-->Define Number Ranges for Sales Documents.
Here you provide the system a specific Number range as follows:
Number range Key Start Number range End Number Range+Current Number
For Example: If you want to propose the following Number Range
*1 9000076000 9000076999 0
The Current Number field will be kept zero as you are proposing new number range and no sales documents have been created on it , Obviously..
*1 is a Unique Two digit Alphanumeric Key, while proposing your key, you should ensure that it should not be there in the system as existing.
If you propose a key that is there in the system or if the Number Range (Start and End Series) is there in the system already, the system will throw a message that Interval already already exists. So choose a key that is unique, and which is not there in the system.
Here , by making this , you are assigning a Key to a Number Range Series.
All the symbols can be used along with numbers from 0 to 9 and Alphabets from A to Z and in any order. For example: !1, ^A, BB,Z*,M2.........
Assigning - In Assigning, you assign the particular Sales Document to the Number Range you have already proposed as above.
The Assigning Part is done as follows:
The Two digit Alpha Numeric Key is maintained or Assigned to the respective Sales Document type in V0V8.
This can also be reached in IMG by:
Sales & Distribution>Sales>Sales Document Header-->Define Sales Document Types
Locate the particular Sales Doc Type, and double click on it to display it configuration. Here you put the Two Digit Number key in the Field- "Number range External Assignment"
Besides this:
If a new Shipping Point is created then Delivery Number ranges are required to be maintained.
Similarly,
If a new Plant is created then Billing Number Ranges are required to be maintained.

We also face one more error such as
" Incorrect index structure for table XMVERF_POS/0000224110/000040 ".

i am getting 'not able to save' message while i am creating sales order.
how should i proceed to know where is the problem???
i tried debugging but it is taking lots of time, is there any other way i can know the reason for this error in standard code.
there is no wrong data entry while creating sales order.
i just want to know what are the ways to know where is the problem in the standard code.

try too create a sales order after that check transaction code ST22 U WILL FIND AN SHORT DUMP then check in the source code extract an pointer will be visible where the error is coming and it will also show the program name , please read the dump analysis care fully

I think you have both Variant configuration and BOM.
Pls ensure the following.
1. BOM masterdata is maintained for the variants
2. Variant configuration is configured correctly
Configuration profile is created for the material
Knowledge base object and run time version are available
3. Maintain materials as not relevant for delivery or dont give delivery quantity as 0
Once you are sure that these are in proper shape, you can start creating order. The problem wont come.

I am creating sales order with reference using function module SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE , while creating i am getting error
Document doesn't have document category even thougth i am passing document category in header as well as item lavel.
In VBUK table there is no value for VGTYP.
Can you please help me how to resolve it.

Error while creating Sales Order Through BAPI
Hi Friends,
i am creating a RFC where i have to create sales order .
I am using bapi
BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2
for same and entering values to it.
I got the following return messages:
S V4 233 SALES_HEADER_IN has been processed successfully
S V4 233 SALES_ITEM_IN has been processed successfully
S V1 311 BDN Order 3112800903 has been saved
But when I go to transaction VA03 and enter the number i get the following error:
SD document 3112800903 is not in the database or has been archived
Can any one know how to resolve this error.I am also using BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT with wait = 'X'.

Try to check the return message once.
SD document 3112800903 is not in the database or has been archived
You will get this message if the sales document is deleted from the database .The BAPI 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE' is used to delete salesorder.Check whether anyone has deleted it
Also, sometimes it may take few seconds to update the sales order in the database when using BAPI. Check the transaction after some time.

Just check whether the material - in MM - material type whether the Qty and value update has been ticked.
What order type you are using and what is the item category you are using?

Error while creating sales order for material with another DIVISION
Hello Friends,
I have a problem with my sales order creation.
I have defined a new sales area 0010 / 10 / 01. I have the sales order type assigned to this sales area. (in VOV8 for the sales order type, in the 'General Control' the 'item division' is flagged.
Now, I have created the sold to party XYZ with all the partner functions defaulted same as the sold to party for the sales area 0010 / 10 / 01.
NOW, I have the material ABC with the DIVISION 10 in the basic data. I have extended the material to my sales org & dist. channel & plant.
Now, while creating the sales order for my sales area 0010 / 10 / 01 , I enter the sold to party XYZ - it is OK. But when I enter the material ABC, I get the error - "SHIP TO PARTY IS NOT DEFINED FOR SALES AREA 0010 / 10 / 10"
Please help to resolve the issue.

Common division for Material Master data will not work
Because in the material master Division is a field not an organizational unit
Means when you create MMR you will give sales org, DC, Plant as organizational units and then enter but not division
Division is a field maintained in basic data and sales org data 1
This is the reason in t code you will find in t code VOR2 Common division only customer and conditions but not materials
But in t code VOR1 Common DC ,customer conditions and materials all there are available (you can check these t codes)
Coming to your issue Item div is clecked in your order type
This means the division in MMR has the priority or control for that order type
Your header division is 01 ( taken from customers sales area) and item division is 10 (taken from MMR as per your post)
So it differs
To process this order with Item div is clecked in your order type you need to extend your Sold to party ABC to the sales area 0010/10/10 (the sales area where the division of the material falls)
or alternatively
There should be a customer say DEF created in sales area 0010/10/10 who will be a ship to party ( your error is also the same)
for your ABC that is sold to party in sales area 0010/10/01 where the order is registered
Hope yopu are getting it
ABC in sales area 0010/10/01 will have or should have ship to paty DEF in sales area 0010/10/10
or
ABC should operate in in sales area 0010/10/10 too
If item division is not ticked then these are not necessary as the header division 01 will be valid for all items and syatem will not look MMR at all for division

How to check it.

The material entered is not allowed for the transaction because the listing is missing.
Procedure
Check your entries. If they are correct, check whether the listing is complete.

Material listing (and exclusion) lets you control which materials specific customers may (or may not) buy. For example, if you create a material listing for a specific customer, the customer can only order products from that list. You can also create a master record for material exclusion for a particular customer. Then the customer can not order excluded materials from you.
Material listing applies to two partner functions in Sales & Distribution: the sold-to party and the payer.
In the standard version of the SAP System, when the sold-to party and payer are different, the material listing check is as follows:
· If the sold-to party has a material listing, the system only checks this listing (no other check takes place).
If there is no listing for the sold-to party, but a listing has been created for the payer, the system automatically checks the payers listing.
· If no material listing data exists for either the sold-to party or payer, then the customer may order any material.

Dear Experts, I got a trouble with invoice process. We are using workflow to release payment block, so that the status of the MIRO can be changed from "P Payment Request" to "Free for Payment". The problem is the status cannot be changed to "Free for
