Hi, We are working on SRM 5.0 - Classic scenario.
While creating a SC, we are getting an error mentioned below -

Hi Vikrant,
We got this error long back when we are working with SRM 4.0 with ECC 4.7 as backend and this is how it was resolved.
It says RABAX_STATE error right.
Go to the transaction BS02 in SRM. You will find the status profile something like CMECHR click on it and go to the details and click/select object types .
Then you will find all the object types and a check box before it.
Check for this Shopping Card Header(BBP) object type. If the check box is ticked for this remove it, save and come back and try again. This should be blank ideally.
It worked for us long before.
There is also a OSS note 1034093 u2013Error messages ITS_ERRMSG_EXCEPTION which speaks about the ITS exception messages.

The budget is defined in the SAP Enterprise Buyer System and does not originate from FI/CO.

Here you define the amount, currency and validity of the purchasing budget.
A budget defined here has the highest priority and is called in every case.
§         Role (Transaction PFCG)
As under User (above).
Each user that is assigned to this role has the budget of this role.
This budget is subordinate to the budget assigned to a user.
§         Organizational Plan (Transaction PPOMA_BBP)
Organizational Unit ® Extended Attributes ® Purchase Order Limits ® User Budget:
Here you define the amount, currency and validity of the purchasing budget.
This budget is subordinate to the budget assigned to a user.
If budgets have been defined both for the role and for the useru2019s organizational unit (and none for the user himself), then the budget with the highest value is used.

Attribute error while creating shopping cart in portal

Hi,
We are using SRM 7.0 . While creating shopping cart in portal , I am getting error " the attribute of the user are inconsistent or not defined. See transaction ppoma_bbp "
I have maintained attributes of ACS,BSA,BUK,BWA,CUR,KNT,WGR & WRK . Done attribute check in BBP_ATTR_CHECK, it issued warning message for CAT attribute. All other attributes are Ok.
Could anybody help to resolve this.

Step 1: Check the consistency of the User for Shopping Cart using Transaction BBP_CHECK_CONSISTENCY. THis will give you a snapshot of what is missing in user's attributes for creating a SC.
Step 2. Go to PPOMA_BBP and note down the Position id and CP id of the user. Then check the consistency of these objects using BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE.
It seems the combination of attributes is not in right place for this user

While creating shopping cart, is it possible to enter some text/comment in one of the user defined attribute for the item? In other words I need to define a simple single value chracteristics that is ready for input during shopping cart creation. This comment I need to enter before transferring item to the shopping cart. System is CCM2.0

To make it more clear, here are the steps I am performing:
1. Search for catalog item in a catalog.
2. Select the catalog item.
3. Go to the items detail screen of the selected item.
4. In this screen, I need to enter some additional information. May be an attribute ready for free text input. Here I tried, documents/attachements. But that doesn't serve the purpose.
5. After entering comments, transfer/add the item to shopping cart.
6. Save the shopping cart.
So, step 4 is where I am looking to enter comments.

You would need to define secondary RFC Destination. Follow these steps to the end.
1.Create a secondary RFC user and an authorization in the backend(ECC)
1a)In Transaction SU01, create a new user (on the 'Logon data' tab,
you should select user type 'Dialog' or 'Service').
1b) Call Transaction PFCG for the role maintenance and create your own
role.
1c) In the role, select the 'Authorizations' tab and and choose the
button to change the authorization.
1d) Do not select ANY template on the dialog box.
1e) Choose 'Manual' ; then enter authorization object S_RFC and confirm
the entry.
1f) Expand the authorization object and choose the pencil symbol for
the 'Name of RFC to be protected'.
1g)Choose the pencil symbol for the 'Type of RFC object to be
protected', select the 'Function group' checkbox and save the
change.
1h)Generate and save the authorizations. Then return to the role.
1i)On the 'User' tab, enter the user you have created and carry out a
user comparison.
2. Define an secodary RFC destination in SRM server with the RFC user you have created

Have you check OKB9 transaction in R3 - FI . ?
Here we maintain the Cost center - cost element ?
I guess, This is because the the particular material profit center which is link cost center in OkB9 in R3 FI requires a cost object. The cost object enttry is not maintained can u pls chk this with your local FI person and ask him to maintain the cost object for the cost center. See Material is linked to profit center and which is linked to cost center which in turn is linked to cost object. Then this error is material specific. Ask your SAP FI consultant to maintian the cost object for cost center which is linked ot the profit cente in material masters
To change the deafult G/L account,you need to use the BADI BBP_DETERMINE_ACCT.

Also I have to attach files as we do in Standard SAP shopping cart creation process..
But I see a parameter IT_ATTACH to pass the attachments in the FM - BBP_PD_SC_CREATE..Is that the right one to use? If yes, can you suggest the values to be passed in the same if you have done this before..

Warning to Error Message while creating Shopping cart

Hi,
How to make a warning message to error message while creating a SC against the Cost Center when the cost center is closed in SRM 4.0.
Currently we are running on SRM 4.0 with ECC 5.0 as back end and user are able to raise a SC and POs even the cost center is closed.We want to make it as error message and stop users to create a SC /PO against those closed Cost centers.

Hi Richy,
The cost centre which you have maintained is locked for postings. Try to change the cost center and the warning message should be gone.
If you still want to chnage the message from warning to error,you can do in SPRO-->img->SRM->SRM Server -> Cross app basic settings->message control -> Influence message ctl.
If an entry doesnt exist for this message in SPRO,make an entry in view BBPV_PDMSG (Tranx: SM30).

Currently, I have problem need your help.
I tried to create an shopping cart from catalog. But I don't know how the G_L_ACCT was lost.
The information about account like this:

Dear Melynessa: normally you should not get this error message when flagging "Order as Direct Material" in SRM 7.0.
Please, check in your backend ECC6 if "Value updating" flag has been selected or not for the material type of your SC material ID under the IMG path "Logistic - General --> Material Master --> Basic Settings --> Materual Types --> Define Attributes of Material Types"
If field "Value updating" for material type is not flagged then, when creating a PReq or PO in SAP ECC6, you will get always an error message asking you for an account assignment.
Due to the circumstance above, in SRM, materials ID belonging to non-valuated material types should not be ordered as direct (flag order as direct is available always when you enter a material ID, even when it is non-valuated). If you flag the field "Order as Direct" for a non-valuated material, standard SRM system doesn't issue any error message. So, maybe, there is BAdi in your SRM system checking the "Value updating" for material type and avoiding "Order as Direct Material" flag being selected when it is a non-valuated material
