While creating Subcontracting challan in J1IF01Im getting error " Deficit of 3.2000000000000002E+00 in RG23ABED".
Any suggestion in this regard is very helpful.

Hi,
You are referring the material challan, which is not posted for Sub-Contracting PO. Pl. check your Material document number. Also pl. check that plant is same in material document & s/c Challan.
Excise values are not appearing in the S/C Excise Challan, because you are sending the excisable material to your sub-contractor without paying any excise duty. When you reverse & recredit the S/C Challan, it will show the Excise Amounts.

Error while creating remittance challan for TDS

Hey guys,
Im trying to Create Remittance Challans for TDS. I have created a Business Place and Section Code and assigned it to the Company Code. Also in the invoice document display the line items have business place. But when i try to Create Remittance Challans, i get an error as follows:
Business Place for document could not be determined
Am i missing some configuration? Can anyone guide me..its urgent!!

Create business place J_IN_BUSINESSPLACE
Define section code SIMG_ORFB_V_SECCODE Here you can assign section code to the business place.
Activated extended withholding tax for your company code.
Maintain Number Groups and SAPscript Forms J_1IEWT_CERT
Check once all these even the problem is remain tell me what configuration u did for this.
If section code is there business place is not there then create one substitution specifying that if business area is this then the section code is this.
After done this go to any document where there is no business place and section code go for change mode and just save it then system will give you a message that changes have been made. Previously i did the same for this condition

SPRO-> IMG-> Materials Management-> Consumption-Based Planning-> Plant Parameters-> Carry Out Overall Maintenance of Plant Parameters.
Is creation of plant is sufficient for subcontracting procurement?
I created a subcontracting PO in this plant.
Is it necessary to have MRP views to be maintained in material master , for subcontracting procurement cycle?
I will be obliged if you answer my queries

Error While Creating Remittance Challan

Dear All
I have made down payment to a Vendor of Rs. 10,000 .TDS @11.33 was deducted on the Down Payment. Then he raised an invoice of Rs. 100,000. Again TDS was deducted on the Rs. 90,000 balance amount.
Now when I am Cretaing Remittance Challan for him I am getting the following error.''
No unpaid tax lines exist for the given selection criteria.Message no. 8I702
Diagnosis
The corresponding withholding tax line &1& is not present in WITH_ITEM table.
System Response
For withholding tax recovered from the vendor, tax line is present in table BSIS, but the corresponding entry is missing in table WITH_ITEM , which is necessary for challan updation. Check the entries.
Procedure
check entries in table WITH_ITEM for the open tax items chosen for clearing.

The following may be the one of the cause please check all.
1. Check section code & Bussuniss place at document level in BSEG. if the section code is not updated at document level u can not update the section code and bussiness place for Direct FI invoices from J1INPP as it is meant only for MM invoices. u has to reverse the invoice and repost it. or else develop a BDC/program/query which can update the section code.
2. Check the repient type at vendor master, and also check wheather the recipent type was changed after posting document it ussullay occurs. the possible solution is again the same reverse the document and repost it.
Check these two things first and let me know it the problem still persists.

I am getting an Error while creating PO in operation subcontracting.When I'm trying to convert the purchase requisition for the operation in the routing into a Purchase order it gives me the error "Not possible to determine any components".Please guide me why I am getting this error. I have already assigned the component to the operation in the routing. I also have this component in stock. But no Idea why I'm getting this error

please check ,
Assign a recursive BOM for the material for which you want to create the purchase order .ie. create a BOM of mat say X having a component X and marking the indicator recursive ticked.
Please create the BOM which is valid much before the date of creating a purchase requisition .
And proceed for the creation of subcontract purchase requisition.
Please Revert back, if the problem is solved.

For remittance challan business place is reqd. field. I worked on the same issue in my previos project
Business Place: Business place represents your TDS circle. It is mainly to show the Tax deduction account TAN number of the deductor which is mentioned in the TDS certificate. Both these things are important from your TDS certificate point of view.
spro>FA>****>wht>ewht>basic settings>india-->define business places.
If u can give business place in J1INCHLN then automatically create the challan based on the creteria.

Hi Kirran,
Please see if you have defined a status scheme and assigned it to the recipe type. Before defining a status scheme, you must complete the one time IMG activity 'Collect Object Types and Assigned Attributes' under Recipe Development > Status Management. Then in the next node you define individual statuses and a scheme with transitions. For each status, you must define 'field value' for the field RCP_USAGE which is nothing but a value from Recipe Purposes customizing.

I have got an error while creating a PO with an Internal Order. I am trying to post this PO against an Internal Order. The error message says that:
User status BUDG is active (ORD 10034). When I click the perform assistant, it says that according to this status, transaction 'Material purchase order' is not allowed.
Can somebody plss help me in this regards, I will assign points.

What you enter in the Cost element master data is only for defaulting the cost center or order when you use that GL account.
When you see a message transction requires an account assignment, you can enter the relevant cost center for which the cost is incurred.
For your information, If an order has been marked as statistical, you can find it in KO02 change order > Control data. there may be check box saying statistical. If it is not available, then, you can't make it statistical until, you make that field available for change for the order type. Usually orders of a particular type can be made as statistical, by providing a model order to the order type. In the model order you specify that it will be statistical.

As I am using the trial version so I have isnatlled all the products Workbench, Server and the application server in the same machine. My System has 2GB Ram.

Getting error while creating the variable of Schema Element type

Hi everybody,
For creating a variable of schema element type I am doing the following steps...
Select 'Variables' after right clicking on bpel process. IN this window, go to 'Create VAriable' then select 'Element' type. Now in Type Choose, I expanded the my imported schema files. And selected a element type, then click ok to create this variable... I am getting the message...
IN ORDER TO SAVE IMPORTED WSDL/SCHEMA FILES, YOU MUST HAVE A PARTNER LINK LOCATED UNDER THE CURRENT PROJECT DIRECTORY.
What is mean by that.
I have imported the schema files in project. AFter that I have imported them into the WSDL also. Now why I am getting error while creating the variable. However I can create variable directly in .BPEL file then everything is fine. And it is working also. But what is mean with the above error? Why I am not able to create variable through GUI?

I have this same problem this morning, and I was going crazy, until I found this webpage on the internet:

The idea is that the jdeveloper is not very good working with directories with spaces on the directory name. If you move all your work to a directory without spaces, it will work smoothly. At least, it had worked for me.

Error while creating a Development plan template

Hi Gurus,
I am facing errors while creating Development Plan Template.
This is how it goes :
When i click on Define Forms for Talent Assessment --> a wizard pops up & i select Development Plan :
In first step, I am giving Title,Integration with SAP Learning Solution (check) & a rating scale.
Now after clicking next, I am adding 2 development areas :
1) Training
2) Mentoring,
now as soon as I'm clicking on End Configuration, It displays 2 errors & 1 warning message :
error1 : Element Appraisal Template 'XXXXX' contains errors.Cannot change status.
error2 : Value type 000000XXX of value class Q does not exists
Warning 1 : You have maintained a description that is not displayed.
In PHAP_CATALOG, when I'm trying to manually release the Criterion Group (VB) or Appraisal template (VA), it does not allow me to do it.
Kindly let me know how to proceed further.

Even though it gives the error,the new RTF template is uploaded and it is reflected when I query the template again.
But when I run the Concurent program and see the output,the output still shows me the old template.
