Error while creating "Transformation" in BI 7.0

Hello Guys
I am getting the following error when I am creating a transformation between a Datasource and an Infosource in BI 7.0
" Syntax error in GP_ERR_RSTRAN_MASTER_TMPL, row 1,644 (-> long text)"
When I go into the program: GP_ERR_RSTRAN_MASTER_TMPL, here is the error:
CODE:

 CLEAR l_s_chavl_t.
 l_s_chavl_t-fieldnm = 'UNIT'.

ERROR MESSAGE:
Program GP_ERR_RSTRAN_MASTER_TMPL
The data object "I__S_TG_1" does not have a component called "UNIT".

Could you please help me in sloving the below two points in BI.
1. While creating transformation from Data source to infosource in BI, it was throwing error 'Active version of emulated 3.x DataSource XXXXXXX cannot be displayed'. The source system here is another BW 3.5 system. Please help how to create transformation for this.
2. While adding no-cumulative key figure to infosource it gave error ' non-cumulative key figures can't be added to infosource'. Is there any way to add these type key figures to infosource.

Hi,
Check the DataSource is in which version, i mean is it in 3.x or 7. Because we can create the transformations if and only if the DataSource is in 7 version. If it is in 3.x, it will allow u to create Transfer rules. So first migrate the DataSource form 3.x to 7 suing tcode RSDS.
Non-cumulative keyfigures are loaded directly from datasource to data target. System not allows u to maintain at InfoSource level ( I am not sure about this, confirm once).

Hi Bhusan,
You have to activate your datasoure to make it as an ACTIVE version.
SO in RSA1>Modelling>Datasouces--> find your datasource name and activate it first.
Then create your transformation and continue with other steps.

I have assigned the price as Fixed currecy to 'USD'
i`don't think we have to add the currency field in flat file structure
i m getting the following error
Rule 4 (target field: ZRA_PRICE): Field NETPRICE must be assigned to an InfoObject
Rule (target field: ZRA_PRICE): No source unit assigned

Check if you have Direct Assignment set up after the mapping.
RClick - Rule Details - Direct Assignment - Have it mapped.
Rule (target field: ZRA_PRICE): No source unit assigned
How did you define ZRA_PRICE, with currency USD or 0LOC_CURRCY or ??
Just recheck ...and have the 0CURRENCY set to constant to USD in the Target...it need not exist in the Source.

Error while creating transformation from DSO to InfoCube

Hi Gurus,
When i am creating tranformation from DSO to InfoCube getting an error, " The unit/currency 'Source Currency 0CURRENCY ' with the value 'space' is assigned to the key figure 'Source Key Fig. ZAMT_PLC ' with the value
'8.50 ' "
ZAMT_PLC is created with 0CURRENCY.
On checking we found that there is no value stored for Currency field in table level itself. Now in this case how do we avoid this error.
I want to know why is this we need to have value for 0Currency field???

Hello Anup,
If you load a key figure which has a unit assigned to it,
then for every records where the key figure has a valid value
(value 0) the corresponding unit has to be delivered as well.
Additionally please check note 1366474 regarding the RSTRAN 312
error message:
"The corrections contained in Note 1165168 are incomplete.
Depending on the sequence during loading, the system may not issue error
message RSTRAN 312 even though data regarding the assigned unit or
currency "space" is incorrect."
This means actually, that the system should have issued the RSTRAN312
error message even before the upgrade, but for some reason this
check found no issues in some constellations. This means furthermore
that your system behaved incorrectly in the past, that this
error message was not triggered if you loaded key figures without
any unit.
I'm sorry to tell you, but the system behaves and works as designed
as it should be even before the correction from note 1366474.
Please change your transformations for key figures which
have a unit assigned, that the unit field is filled correctly.
with the corresponding units, otherwise the system will abort
the processing of the data with the above mentioned error
message.

Getting Error Message while creating transformations

While creating transformation for char customer no in the rule type for constant , getting an error message source parameter 0001 is not being used.

while I am Extrating Data From Flat File I encountered this Error.
I am working on ECC 6.0 , BI 7.0.
I am trying this one in IDES, it is newly installed server.
For Flat File Extraction I follwed the Steps
1) I created Data source -
let us assume I have created a Flat File with 3 fields
SNO SNAME MARKS
File is located in workstation
Data source created successfull , I have checked in preview.
2) I have created 2 key Figures, 1 characteristic
3) I have created Infocube
here I have some doubt
while I am creating Infocube, the look and Feel is very different to 3.XX
when i try to create in 3.XX , we can see the Tabs for Kef figs,chars,Time chars and we assign chars to Dimenstions.
when i am creating Infocube in BI 7.0 , I don't Find such a Tabs and how I am assign the chars to Dimension
I created Like this
select
Info Area -
> create Info cube -
given name of the cube and create (F5).
the Info cube window displayed on the Right side
Then I did like this
select
key Figures -
> Info object Direct Input
Then I inserted my two key figures SNO,MARKS
--- continue (F5)
Dimension 1 -
> Info object Direct Input
I inserted the 1 char SNAME
--- continue (F5)
Then I saved the Info cube
Info cube saved successfull and activated successfull
Is it Right way For create InfoCube ?
4) I created Transfomation for the Data source
Data source -
> create Transfomation
I have given
Object Type : InfoCube
Name :YSTU - i selected which I already created.
It automaticall taken these parameters
Obejct Type : DataSource
Data source : YSTU
source system :PC_FILE
create Transformation (Enter)
I got the Error
Cannot generate proposal
Message no. RSTRAN017
Then I try to activate, I got the Error.
Error while activating transformation
Message no. RSTRAN510
Before I post this , I had searched in Previous SDN post for this Error , But I can't understand the solution.
I have lot of doubts like Basis Guy need to install any Patch or
I did mistake any where.
Help me to Find the solution...

and i created Info Package too for the Data source , created successfully.
I am struck on Final step creating DTP
when I am creating DTP
Data Transfer Proc : here I need to give the Dtp name ex: YDTP
DTP Type : Standard (Can be sheduled)
Target of DTP
Object Type : Info cube
Name : YSTU (This is my Cube Name)
Source of DTP
Object Type : Data source (It automatically Taken)
Data source : This is Disabled
Source system: This is Disabled

I got the message ?
Specify Name of source
and courser is in Data Transfer Proc

Hi Satya,
Trying logging off the system and log in again and try to activate Data source Infoobject and transformation again and try creating DTP by selecting Selecting the source system by pressing F4. I hope it should work.
I don't find any specific problem or any patch problem with the error you are getting.

I think you are trying to activate the transformation.
Have you tried to generate proposal?
I think you will get the following error message :
Cannot generate proposal
Message no. RSTRAN017
the system would never generate a proposal . u need to map the fields manually in the transformations... after u map it ... check the mapping and activate it ...
Due to this when you are going to activate the transformation it is throwing this error message.
If this works kindly assign me some points.

Hi Kirran,
Please see if you have defined a status scheme and assigned it to the recipe type. Before defining a status scheme, you must complete the one time IMG activity 'Collect Object Types and Assigned Attributes' under Recipe Development > Status Management. Then in the next node you define individual statuses and a scheme with transitions. For each status, you must define 'field value' for the field RCP_USAGE which is nothing but a value from Recipe Purposes customizing.

Error while creating a PO

I have got an error while creating a PO with an Internal Order. I am trying to post this PO against an Internal Order. The error message says that:
User status BUDG is active (ORD 10034). When I click the perform assistant, it says that according to this status, transaction 'Material purchase order' is not allowed.
Can somebody plss help me in this regards, I will assign points.

What you enter in the Cost element master data is only for defaulting the cost center or order when you use that GL account.
When you see a message transction requires an account assignment, you can enter the relevant cost center for which the cost is incurred.
For your information, If an order has been marked as statistical, you can find it in KO02 change order > Control data. there may be check box saying statistical. If it is not available, then, you can't make it statistical until, you make that field available for change for the order type. Usually orders of a particular type can be made as statistical, by providing a model order to the order type. In the model order you specify that it will be statistical.

It look two ways either you dont have permission to write any new thing to that domain.properties file or might file is got corrupted.
Please check for the permission to that file.
