Error while deleting data from 0BPARTNER!!!!

Hello All,
I'm trying to delete the data from 0bpartner master table.
I went into the contents of 0bpartner..selected the record i want to delete and after i delete the record i saved it, but it is not saving and i'm getting the following message.
InfoObject 0LONGITUDE (version A) is not compunded
Please suggest me if there is any other way to delete the data...

Step1
in the infoobject 0BPARTNER . go to the Business Explorer tab
Step2
Go to Geographical type and set non Geo characteristic and activate the infoobject.
Step3
Now try deleting the data for 0BPARTNER hope you will be able to delete it
why error is poping up ??
LONGITUDE and LATITUDE attributes are used. ALTITUDE, PRECISID and SRCID are reserved for future use.
If you reset the geographical type of a characteristic to Not a Geo-Characteristic, these attributes are deleted in the InfoObject maintenance.
hope you can solve the Issue
in case if you really need those 3 object then you need to make the setting looking at this document below and ten delete the master data(its based on your requirement)

Check if all ODS related objects are consistent and active.

Error while deleting data from a write optimized DSO using a Process Chain?

Dear Bwers,
I am facing a strange error while using process chains to delete data from data target which is a write optimized DSO. The process shows as failed but the data gets deleted in the DSO. The error message is as below. Did anybody have a similar problem? Any suggestions.

"Transfer structure does not exist" while deleting data from a DSO

Hello experts,
while deleting data from a DSO I get the following messages:
@5B\QInformation@     Database table /BIC/AAKIVO1400 was deleted and recreated
@5C\QError@     Transfer structure does not exist
When I try it twice process works without any problems. I get then the following msgs:
@5B\QInformation@     InfoCube / DataStore object "AKIVO14" contains no data (yet)
@5B\QInformation@     Database table /BIC/AAKIVO1400 was deleted and recreated
So I think the first deletion works but ended with errors. What could be the reason?

Please check if data from new and chage log table is also deleted.
For the error message : Do you have 3.5 flow ? Check your transfer structure , if it is active and then again try to right click and delete data from DSO.

I am getting the below error while loading data from Data source to the cube.
Record 1 :Time conversion from 0CALDAY to 0FISCPER (fiscal year ) failed with value 20070331
Wht am i suppose to do?

Hi
Simply map 0calday to 0fiscper(you already done it)..You might have forgotten to map fiscal year variant in update rules....if it comes from souce,just map it..if it won't comes from source...make it as constant in update rules and give value..
If your business is April to March make it as 'V3'
If your business is January to Decemeber make it as 'K4'..
activate your update rules delete old data and upload again....

Try to simulate the process.That can give you exact error location.
It seems like while updating few records may be no in the format of the field in which it is updated.

It would appear that you external table definition and the external data file data do not match up. Post a few input records so someone can duplicate the problem and determine the fix.

DB Connect Load - "Unknow error while uploading data from the DB Table"

Hi Experts,
We have our BI7 system connected to Oracle DB based third party tool. The loads are performing quite well in DEV environment.
I would like to know, how we transport DB Connect datasources to Quality systems? Any different process to be followed for DB Connect datasources?
At present the connections between BI Quality and the third party quality systems are established. We transported the DataSource from BI DEV system to BI quality system, but on trigerring an infopackage we are not able to perform loads. It prompts - "Unknow error while uploading data from the DB Table".
Also on comparing the DataSources in DEV system and Quality system there are no fields in "Proposal" tab of datasource in Quality system. Also I cannot change or activate Datasource in Quality system as we dont have change access in quality.
Please advice.

Sorry for bumping an old thread ....
Did this issue get ever get resolved?
I am facing the same one. The loads work successfully in Dev. The transport for DBConnect DS also moved in successfully.
One strange this is that DB User for dev did not automatically change to db user from quality when I transported the DBConnect datasource. DBCon DS still shows me the DB User from Dev in Quality system
I get "Unknown Error" whenever I trigger the data package.

Please check to ping the BI server IP 10.1.45.35 from your XI server , in case its working you can check telnet to SAP standard port like 3201/3601/3301/3901 etc.
It seems to be connectivity issue only.
Make sure your both the systems are up and running.
Revert back after checking above stuff.

Error while updating data from DataStore object

Hi,
Currently we are upgrading BW3.5 to BI7.0 for technical only,
we found and errors during process chain run in further processing step. This step is basically a delta loading from DSO to Cube.
The error message are:
Error while updating data from DataStore object 0GLS_INV
Message no. RSMPC146
Job terminated in source system --> Request set to red
Message no. RSM078
That's all no further errors message can be explained clearly here from system.
I have applied SAP note 1152453 and reactivate the datasource, infosource, and data target.
Still no help here!?
Please advise if you encountered these errors before.

Error while loading data from a file on application server

Hi all,
Facing an error while loading data from a flat file.
Error 'The argument '##yyyymmdd;@##' cannot be interpreted as a number ' while assigning character.
I changed the format of date fields (tried with number,general,date(International))in the xls. But i still get the same error.Did check all the data types in Data source all the fields are dats.

one more note is i have some of the fields as NULL in this field

Diagnosis
The application program for the extraction of the data was called using update mode "Full Upload". However, this is not supported by the InfoSource.

The data extraction is terminated.
Procedure
Check for relevant OSS Notes, or send a problem message of your own.

I have no experience with IS Retail data sources. But as message clearly say this DS is not suppose to be ran in Full mode.
Try to switch you DTPs/Infopackages to Delta mode.
While to checking extraction in source system, within TA RSA3 = Extractor checker, kindly switch Update mode field to Delta.

Error While extracting data from FIAA and FIAP

Hi Gurus,
I am facing error while extracting data from R/3 Source. 0FIAA, 0FIAP datasources. I am getting the same error repeatedly. No data will come BW. When I checked in RSA3 I can extract records.
Ther Error is as follows:
Request still running
Diagnosis
No errors could be found. The current process has probably not finished yet.
System response
The ALE inbox of the SAP BW is identical to the ALE outbox of the source system
and/or
the maximum wait time for this request has not yet run out
and/or
the batch job in the source system has not yet ended.
Current status
No Idocs arrived from the source system.

Have you already checked what happened in the source system ?
You should verify if a job is running in sm37, or if there is no dump runtime errors due to the extraction in st22.
It could be a clue of what happened in R/3.

Error while loading data from 0FI_TX_4 to ODS

Dear Friends,
One of our proccess chain getting error since a week, every day with same error while loading data from R3 data source 0FI_TX_4 to ODS.
Short dump is raised in R3 system.
"DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR" CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DBC
"SAPLBWFIR" or "LBWFIRU13"
"BWFIR_READ_BSET_CPUDT_DATA"
ORA-01555
The number of records are below 10000 only.
All other chains are OK.
we have already searched SDN and Notes...and applied below solution, but still no use
Increase the size of all the roll back segments
Increase number of REDO logs
Decrease the number of records per data packet
Any more suggessions please ??

How are you telling that no. of records are below 10000 .Have you checked the no.of records in PSA???
Now ,I tell you something which I had done for this error .I increased the Package size such that whole data gets transferred in single data package.Please make the package size as large as possible so that all the data can be processed in single package.
I know you have read so many threads on the same but what I am suggesting is what I have done and successfully rectified this issue.
