Error While Deleting Data From ODS

Hi all,
We are getting short dump while deleting data from a perticular ODS.
Part of short dump is--
trigger Location of Runtime Error

   Module Name                             RSAR_TRANSTRUCTURE_ACTIVATE
help is desperately required

try to activate InfoSource and later delete data.
Check if all ODS related objects are consistent and active.
also pls attached the whole dump for more clarity if this does not work.

When i'm loading the data from ods to further ods, i'm facing an error while activating the data saying that 0ref_doc_no consists of invalid characters.Also it is saying that Error when assigning SID.
I'm unable to see the long text for further information.

Hi vijay bhaskar,
first go to RSA1 -> go to datasource -> search for the data source with name "8<old DSO>". Go to dispaly and click on PSA button on top. Now you can see PSA data request. in the bottom left you select error records and display. now you will see all the error records. go through each and every records and see what is the special characteristic in that record and copy that special character in notepad. After collecting all the special characters in notepad, goto RSKC -> paste all the special characteristics from note pad. execute it.
Now, go back to PSA, delete the request from PSA. Schedure the infopackage to load the data. Now, will not see any error like special characteristics.

Error while deleting data from a write optimized DSO using a Process Chain?

Dear Bwers,
I am facing a strange error while using process chains to delete data from data target which is a write optimized DSO. The process shows as failed but the data gets deleted in the DSO. The error message is as below. Did anybody have a similar problem? Any suggestions.

Error while uploading data from ODS to Cube

Hi All,
Will you please help out this issue.As this is a priority high issue,please reply if you know the answers.
I am facing an error while loading the data from ODS to CUBE,the error
is
1.Name is not in the namespace for generated BW Metaobjects
2.Error 18 in the update
And this error is occuring only in quality server.

make sure that the Data source is replicated and tranfer rules r active.
And also check whether the all transport requests r imported properly.

Error while loading data from ODS to IC.

Hi Experts,
             I am trying to load data from ODS to IC using Initial load. I failed first time. Then when I am trying to schedule it again I am getting a error message. I deleted the intial request. Even after that, I am getting the following message. Am I missing something?
Delete init. request
REQU_BQQCBQV5ZK9YEBB416C8QXXLC before running
init. again with same selection
Also can any one provide me a document that contians the lenght of all teh technames? I know I can find it out by looking into each one of the Tech Names. But I would be nice if anyone of you can provide me a document.

Hi,
By reading the error:
No transfer structure for InfoSource 8ZYNA_ODS and source system B3TCLNT800
I think the problem is actually with a Datamart. You can try to regenerate the export datasource and activate it.
Also, you can try to activate only the transfer structure again using the report "RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL".

I am trying to load data from ODS to Cube but its giving error.
I am getting following error
An error occurred while executing a transformation rule:
The exact error message is:
The argument 'Result dependent booking' cannot be interpreted as a
number
The error was triggered at the following point in the program:

System Response
     Processing the data record has been terminated.
Procedure
      The following additional information is included in the higher-level
     node of the monitor:
     o   Transformation ID
     o   Data record number of the source record
     o   Number and name of the rule which produced the error
Procedure for System Administration.
How to resolve this error, it will be great help if anyone post the steps

Error While Loading data from ODS to Infocube

I am trying to load data from ODS to Infocube thru Update ODS data into data target. My requirement was to take a small subset of fields from ODS and design IC and load the data.
My load fails at Extraction process as I get 0 records from total number of records sent in each package. Please let me know if you need more information.
Please advise.

Yellow for 25000 Records sent(0 records received)

Green Light for Data Selection Ended

Error while loading data from ODS to CUBE.

Hi friends,
When l am loading data from ODS to Cube with help of data mart, I am getting error in QA system , IN DM system ,every thing went well.IF i see the detail tab in monitor under Processing .
Its is showing like this .
Transfer Rules : Missing Massage.
Update PSA : missing massage.
Processing end : missing message.
I have checked the coding in update rules, everything is ok.
Plz any inputs.

Might means that IDocs flow is not defined properly in your QA system for myself-SourceSystem.

Error while extracting data from ODS using Infospokes - URGENT

Hi all,
I am extracting data from an ODS using infospokes and nothing fancy, no selection criteria but I am getting an error message saying
Syntax error in row3(-> long text) Msg id = "RG" and msgno is 102
Any ideas on how I can see what is the exact error and how to debug this?

I found one OSS note suitable to your mesg. So just check out OSS note # 671097. I hope this note will be some help to you. If not go and chk in the OSS you can find some more.

Symptom
Error message RG102: 'Syntax error in &1, row &2 (-> long text)' appears in the request log of an InfoSpoke.
Reason and Prerequisites
The data source is an ODS object and the extraction mode is 'delta'. The cause of the error message is that the ODS extractor is unable to select the request ID (InfoObject 0REQUID) from the change log of the ODS object. However, the request ID is mistakenly provided in the field list of the ODS object on the InfoSpoke maintenance screen. --
Solution
Delete the 0REQUID InfoObject from the field list of the InfoSpoke and activate the InfoSpoke. As of the patch mentioned below, the request ID in the template tab is no longer provided.
BW 3.0B
Import Support Package 16 for 3.0B (BW3.0B Patch 17 or SAPKW30B16) into your BW system. The Support Package will be available once note 571699 with the short text "SAPBWNews BW 3.0B Support Package 16", which describes this Support Package in more detail, has been released for customers.
BW 3.1 Content
Import Support Package 10 for 3.1 Content (BW3.10 Patch 11 or SAPKW31010) into your BW system. The Support Package will be available once note 571747 with the short text "SAPBWNews BW 3.1 Content Support Package 10" has been released for customers.
To provide information in advance, the notes mentioned above may already be available before the Support Package is released. In this case, however, the short text still contains the words "preliminary version".

Error while deleting data from 0BPARTNER!!!!

Hello All,
I'm trying to delete the data from 0bpartner master table.
I went into the contents of 0bpartner..selected the record i want to delete and after i delete the record i saved it, but it is not saving and i'm getting the following message.
InfoObject 0LONGITUDE (version A) is not compunded
Please suggest me if there is any other way to delete the data...

Step1
in the infoobject 0BPARTNER . go to the Business Explorer tab
Step2
Go to Geographical type and set non Geo characteristic and activate the infoobject.
Step3
Now try deleting the data for 0BPARTNER hope you will be able to delete it
why error is poping up ??
LONGITUDE and LATITUDE attributes are used. ALTITUDE, PRECISID and SRCID are reserved for future use.
If you reset the geographical type of a characteristic to Not a Geo-Characteristic, these attributes are deleted in the InfoObject maintenance.

in case if you really need those 3 object then you need to make the setting looking at this document below and ten delete the master data(its based on your requirement)

I am loading masterdata from ODS to infoobject as data target, I am getting an error message as

Diagnosis
An error occurred in the source system.
System response
Caller 09 contains an error message.
Further analysis:
The error occurred in Service API .
Refer to the error message.
DataSource 80BP_ID does not have the same status as the source system in the Business Information Warehouse.
The time stamp in the source system is 09.08.2006 10:17:24.
The time stamp in the BW system is 15.03.2006 16:44:34.
But we are getting Data till ODS, when we manually load from ODS to infoobject this error is coming up.
Please help in resolving this,

The generated objects are export datasources based on the ODS objects. These are automatically generated because ODS objects are a key component to a data model or datawarehouse strategy where their role is to stage the data for consolidation or harmonization purposes. The generated datasource helps you to load data into further data targets. The use of a cube as an export datasource is not as common, and so the datasource is not automatically generated for them.

Iam getting Following Error while Uploading data from ODS to Data Target
a) Error in Source System.
b)DataSource 80MKT_DS01 has to be replicated (time stamp, see long text)
Message no. R3016
Diagnosis
DataSource 80MKT_DS01 does not have the status of the source system in the Business Information Warehouse.
The time stamp in the source system is 21.06.2005 07:31:33.
The time stamp in the BW system is 27.11.2004 17:41:45.

This generally occurs when you change the data source or enhance the data source or the coonections to the datasoiurse are broken. To resdolve thius sort of errors just
1. Check for the coonect between the sourse & target systems
2 . Replicate the data sourcses.
3. Acivated TR,UR,& the rest of the flow But check in the source system if the structre is modified & is so do the changes in the IS , TR,UR correspondingly & the try to load .Hoppe it allows you to load .

Try to simulate the process.That can give you exact error location.
It seems like while updating few records may be no in the format of the field in which it is updated.

Error while loading data from 0FI_TX_4 to ODS

Dear Friends,
One of our proccess chain getting error since a week, every day with same error while loading data from R3 data source 0FI_TX_4 to ODS.
Short dump is raised in R3 system.
"DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR" CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DBC
"SAPLBWFIR" or "LBWFIRU13"
"BWFIR_READ_BSET_CPUDT_DATA"
ORA-01555
The number of records are below 10000 only.
All other chains are OK.
we have already searched SDN and Notes...and applied below solution, but still no use
Increase the size of all the roll back segments
Increase number of REDO logs
Decrease the number of records per data packet
Any more suggessions please ??

How are you telling that no. of records are below 10000 .Have you checked the no.of records in PSA???
Now ,I tell you something which I had done for this error .I increased the Package size such that whole data gets transferred in single data package.Please make the package size as large as possible so that all the data can be processed in single package.
I know you have read so many threads on the same but what I am suggesting is what I have done and successfully rectified this issue.

Error while loading data to ODS

Hello BW folks ,
I am getting an error while loading data to ODS from R/3 data source.
The error message is " Error in PSA".
We have deleted yesterday data from PSA for the related infosource/data source successfully .
Since then this error is occuring. Previously data upload was successful.
In Detail tab of monitor we are getting error message in Request option ( red Mark )
and the same request is not going to R/3 .
The related Job itself is not present in R/3 .
This looks very strange and new to me .
Could anyone help me in rectifying this issue ?

Thanks for reply.
I tried to replicate the data source once again and activate the transfer rules in BW Production by running program in SE38 = RS_TRANS* activate all tranfer sturctures , then I got an error message that one infoobject is added to transfer rules in BW Production .
But interestingly the same Transfer rules do not have this infoobject in BW Development server . So I create once again a request for Transfer rules in Dev and transported it to BW production.
and This solved the problem
The error message in Monitor was " Error in PSA " and then request itself was not going to R/3 . But the real issue was with Transfer rules. So after rectifying it we have solved the problem of data upload.
