Error while executing Test Web Service
Hi,
I get an error while trying to test the web service deployed on Weblogic 10.3.1 through jdeveloper 11.1.1.1.0.
This simple web service is created by following the example in http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/11/cuecards111/j2ee_set_16/ccset16_ALL.html
After deploying the web service, the Test Web service Event in the Enterpise manager results in error. The error is as follows : -
The selected operation processRating could not be invoked.
An exception occured while invoking the webservice operation. Please see logs for more details.

Has anyone encountered this error ?
Thanks.
HI,
RFc is not called becuase:
1. we tried RFC debuggin with proper user. it never stopped at break point.
2. TCODE: sxmb_moni in PI did not show any entry for incoming messages.
The import bindings are proper. We tried using .execute(1) , nothing happened.
We are able execute freely avaliable Web service but not the one exposed from PI.
Hence we feel their is problem between PDF and PI itself.
The user we put in the pop up is SERVICE USER. The PI consultant uses the same user and is able to execute but from PDF we are not able to execute.
We also tried with a DIALOG USER with same roles and authhorizations as the SERVICE USER. BUt still it did not execute.

Error while executing ECC_SALESORDERCRTRC web service
hello,
I am getting error while executing the we service ECC_SALESORDERCRTRC using webservice navigator
XML Serialization Error. Object content does not correspond to Schema restrictions of type [http://sap.com/xi/APPL/SE/Global][BusinessDocumentMessageID.Content].
can any one tell me why am i getting this error ?
thanks in advanceHi Ajantha,
The Message Header node is optional. You can skip the complete Message Header node.
Otherwise you need to generate a unique ID for the message and map this ID to BusinessDocumentMessageID.
Try removing Message Header from your input XML. This should solve the error.

Read timed out error while executing a web service
hi,
i have a remote funtion module which takes around 31 seconds in AAD (developing enviroment) server which has around 4 select queries,the same RFC is taking around 25 mins in AAT (testing environment) due to more data.
Now when i am releasing the respective web service in AAT it is giving read time out error.
Can anybody please tell me if i can increase the Limit of the execution time at ERP end?
or anyother solution?
Edited by: tatavarthi sai lakshmi divya on Mar 28, 2008 11:19 AMHi,
if you execute in foreground ( dialog ) then it's gives you the time out error.
check the value of following parameter using tcode RZ11
rdisp/max_wprun_time
if you want to change the value run tcode RZ10 select instance profile and change the value of parameter then save and activate instance profile.
Restart the sap application server.

Error while executing the web service
Hi All,
I have created a Offline interactive Adobe Form using blog:
BLOG URL: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs;jsessionid=(J2EE3414900)ID0483890350DB20045892361770696350End?blog=/pub/wlg/7588
FIrst I created it, It worked fine. I got thee pop up fot authentication.
Then wrote some logic then tried, It stopped executing.
Then removed all logic. Just the three lines of the code as ahown below:
var cURL = enter the WSDL url generated in the first step;
var service = SOAP.connect(cURL);
xfa.connectionSet.name of your custom data connection.execute(0);
But now, when I click on the button, it does not connect to Web service but throws exception.
I am not understanding what is the error. It throws at the line :
xfa.connectionSet.name of your custom data connection.execute(0);
Your help needed urgently!!!

Hi All,
I am getting a Error while executing a web dynpro application :::

I have checked this error description in ST22 :
What happened?

along
the call hierarchy.
Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not

terminated.
Error analysis
An exception occurred which is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_WDR_RT_EXCEPTION', was not caught
and
therefore caused a runtime error.
The reason for the exception is:

Can u plz help me regarding this error.

Looks to me like you are trying to fire a navigation plug within WDDOMODIFYVIEW. According to the rules of the WD Phase Model this is not allowed. -

ChandanaMake sure that you are using non-xa datasources and in DBAdapter outbound connection pool configuration provide the data source JNDI in "dataSourceName" property instead of "xADataSourceName" property. Update the DBAdapter after changing configuration.

Error while creation of web service model in web dynpro
Hi,
I am getting following error "no services available or local server not accessible" while creation of web service model.
I have already created my web service nad deployed it. It was deployed successfully.
In the web service model creation wizard I am not able to see neither my web service nor any other standard service.
Regards,
Anubha PandeyAre you using the deprecated Web Services model or the new adaptive web services model?

Error while completing a web service
Hi,
I have create a RFC, now to use that as a web service I have done the stpes for creating a web service as given in the link
sap technical link tutorial, web service create
when I click on complete button system is giving a messge as Error during activation of web service.
what configuration required for this we have ECC6 system.
regards,
zafar
Edited by: zkarnalkar on Dec 3, 2010 11:13 AMI guess that would depend on the error you're receiving - what is it? I've never seen a generation error for a service provider when following the few steps required, but you could debug the activation if the message isn't clear. Service consumer errors happen all the time and are generally related to WSDL file compatibility.

Error while creating adaptive web service model
Hi All,
There is a requirement where the webdynpro application is deployed in backend system while the web service is created in the front end system. We need to connect to this web service and execute it in our webdynpro application to get response. For this we have created Logical Destination in backend system that points to the web service in the front end system.
The web service, when tested directly through Web Services Navigator, works fine.
Here, while creating an Adaptive Web Service Model in the webdynpro application, after giving name, package, destination name etc when I enter wsdl url and click on Next I am getting an error as u201CError in downloading the WSDL fileu201D.
The error log says u201Ccom.sap.tc.webdynpro.model.webservice.exception.WSModelRuntimeException:Exception on creation of service metadata for WSDL URLu201D.
Even if I try to create model with url only by selecting u201CNo Logical Destinationsu201D, error remains the same.
What may be the reason for this and possible solution?
Appreciate an early response.

It seems that through the IVR the web service is not even reached. I discovered this by inserting an external break point in the CRM Function Module which is called by the web service.
Can anybody help me in resolving this error? I'm working on BCM 7 SP 6.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
SwapnaHi Swapna,
from your screenshot it seems that you actually try to call the service in your Data Source Expression field. You should set path to the WSDL file here actually - this could be either URL to SAP or to filesystem, as Anton suggested (this could be faster). Have you created endpoint binding for your service in transaction SOAMANAGER? If yes, then simply download the corresponding WSDL with binding or copy the URL which leads to it. But also test whether you are able to retrieve the WSDL without logging into SAP (close all browser windows and then open a new one otherwise session ID from other browser windows can be reused).
If you have to give username and password, then setup anonymous alias in transaction SICF, for example.
Pleas, check my previous post on the same subject here: Re: BCM7 IVR : SOAP request for client identification in CRM .
Maybe it could help.

Dawood. -
Error while implementing a web service in web dynpro application
HI All,
I am trying to use a webservice in a web dynpro application.
Web service description:- This is a very simple application which takes two String inputs and when submitted displays the string in the concatenated form.
Web dynpro:- I used this web service in the web dynpro as an adaptive web service model.
The Layout design consists of two input fields which are mapped to the request fields
ex : - Request_Add.Add.S1 and Request_Add.Add.S2
A text area to display the response:- Request_Add.Response.AddResponse.Response
And a button which invokes the execute method
public void onActionWebserviceCall(com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.api.IWDCustomEvent wdEvent )
//@@begin onActionWebserviceCall(ServerEvent)
wdThis.wdGetWebserviceCompController().executeRequest_Add();
//@@end
When I am trying to run the application I am getting error:-
Exception on execution of web service with WSDL URL 'http://<Host>:<Port>/EjbWebservice/Config1?wsdl' with operation 'add' in interface 'EjbWebserviceVi_Document'
Kindly reply.
Thanks
NehaHi,
Yes I have tested the web service in Navigator . The WSDL is also properly generated.
I have not publish the web service in UDDI but as per my understanding this is not necessary. please correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: cannot create QName from "null" or "" String).)
The same jar and same code works fine when called from a standalone java program.
I am not using or creating QName anywhere in my script. The only place where QName is used is in the generated java class and there it is created from the correct namespace URL
Can anyone please help me out in figuring out what is the issue?This is the stack trace of the error:

Please help me how to solve this issue.
Thanks in advance
SivaYour business logic has to be implemented by using OIM APIS. oimclient.jar..
you can then expose these business functions accordingly using a webservice or rest ...
for business logic refer:-
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E27559_01/dev.1112/e27150/apis.htm#OMDEV734
You will basicsally have to deal with UserManager class for managing users.
java API:
