Error while generating Text to Speech in XP

Hi,
I'm getting an error when I try to generate Text to Speech from within Speech Management in Captivate 5 running on Win XP sp3 (swedish).
When i click on Generate Audio I get the error: "Error occurred while generating Text to Speech Audio for Slide 1."
Error occurrs when using the Loquendo and Neospeech voices. Microsoft Sam works though...
Same installation on Windows 7 works just fine, all of the voices generates audio file without error. Unfortunately our clients are only allowed to run XP...
What am I doing wrong?

- What is the text that are you trying to convert to speech? Does that contain any non-english character?
- Is your project an upgraded one from an earlier Captivate version?
- Create a new project in Captivate 5 and insert single slide. Use this text - "This is adobe captivate" and try to convert it to speech using neo speech/loquendo voices. Does this work properly?

I guess the generated layout is automatically saved as attachment. Can any one suggest how to disable the option of automatic saving as attachment

Hi,
if you want to keep the automatic saving as attachment you might check note 599680.
The saving is done normally in method TextGeneration in the underlying Business Object, e.g. BOSALESDOCGEN, BOACTIVITY or BOSERVICETRANSACTION. There you will find the according code lines in the end.

Hi,
When i'm printing a report through my Bex Analysis ,i come with an error saying that error while generating the pdf .plz help me
java.lang.exception:incorect content type found "text/html"

Try checking the config document <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/37/504b8cbc2848a494facfdc09a359b1/frameset.htm"> here</a> and see if that doesn't help you.

Error while generating form 16 in portal - Screen output without connection

Dear Gurus,
We are facing error while generating form 16 through portal and getting the below error in portal.
Screen output without connection to user. error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
When we checked for dumps in R/3 the following dump is coming:
DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND with error message :
Message class : FPRUNX
Message number: 102: No job started.
Then we tried to execute the form 16 through R/3 itself using tcode PC00_M40_F16 after putting in the relevant values in the selection screen and then press on PRINT FORM button, but surprisingly the system logs out without giving any error or dump.
We tried doing it repeatedly and once in these attempts we got an error saying Initialization of font server module failed.
We are not getting clue as to why this is happening. <<Text removed>>

This might be the problem of Adobe Acrobat Reader. what is the version of Adobe you are using ?? If it 9.0, then uninstall it and reinstall 8.0 and then check .
Could you please check your installed SAPGUI component? If component 'Engineering Client Viewer' is installed, please uninstall
it. And try to call same transaction again.

the tables i have inserted are VBAK, VBAP, VBEP, LIKP, LIPS
below is the List.

Hi ,
From what you are saying, i am guessing there could be difference in field types used and in dictionary.
Try this.
1.Go to SQ02
2.Change query area (Standard / Global) in Environment --> Query areas depending on where your infoset is.
3. Select your Infoset.
4. Goto --> More functions --> Check and generate / consistency check --> Adjust.
or Try this.
1. Select your infoset.
2. Change
3. Goto --> Global properties --> see if "no automatic text recognition" is checked in options tab.
If you still having problems, give me more detail on how have you joined tables, have you used any extra fields, or have you done any coding in Infoset, I may be able to help you.

OCR generates error while generating output

I have trouble finding solutions for the following issue.
When I run OCR text recognition as a normal user, it ends up generating an Unknown Error, while generating output.
If I do the same thing as an administrator everything goes well.
I tried to find which steps OCR takes and in what locations, temperary content is being processed.
I suspect there is an acces violation involved.
Does anyone know a way around this error?

How many cost centres are you putting in the role? Do you have cost centre set as an org level?
From your User Name I assume that you are at the BBC...Do you still use a program to populate the cost centres in the role based on the cost centre group names? If so it is possible that you are trying to put too many cost centres in the field and the the profile will not generate because of this (we had it back in 2001 when I was working there).
Do you have the technical error message details?

Can anyone please tell if I need to make any configuration changes as the same logic works perfectly fine on production but not on test.

I have applied the consolidated JRI fixes - patch 17191279 .
Then, when generating Jar, received keypass is tampered error.
re-generated the key using $ adjkey -initialize.
Now, its working fine.

Hello ,
When we execute Query in the Portal there is a 'Print version' button.
When you select it, it opens up print dialog and click OK
It is supposed to send 'pdf' stream to Web browser client on end user but it is not able to generate the pdf .

The same is running fine in the Q Environment .But in Production we are getting this error .

I think this is an ADS error. This is a reason why pdf's are not working. We had the same issue.

Error while generating HTML

Hi,
I have a design studio application I want to share publicly on BI Launch Pad for my company. The dashboard/application made in design studio works fine locally and on BI Platform public folder (through my login credentials).
However, when other people from the company try to view this DS application, it throws "Error while generating HTML"
The root cause is:
The initial exception which caused the request to fail was:
Index: 0, Size: 0
Any clue why such a thing might be happening?

What version of BI4x/patch?
Looks like this error has been shown before on older versions of the BI Platform - see Error HTML in Mobile BI App, not in local (version 1.4)
