  • Error while Activating / running Bex queries/reports

    Hello
I have following ERRORs while activating / running BEx reports/queries.
    1. While Activating BEx reports, I keel getting following ERRORS
Object directory entry R3TR ELEM E341OIR6G715GUMGN0MRXP3MA does not exist
    Error when activating element BX7FOOKQB4588RROCBTC2YVZN
BEx transport request 'BIDK901352' is not available or not suitable
    2. While running the BEx report/query in Bex Analyzer, I'm getting ERROR in entering the parameters, its NOT allowing / giving me option to select the parameters, for example for 0COSTCENTER, it is NOT displaying list costcenters to select before I can RUN that particular report.
    3. How can I trouble shoot ERRORs related to BEx and Portal connectivity.
    4. How would I setup the Variants for a Bex query/report ? Are these Variants for per user basis / per report basis. Can I have each variant for particular users OR all users must select their own variant each time when they RUN the report ?
Thanks, Sorry I have asked multiple questions, in jst one thread.

Goto SE03 -->Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks  option , select the object type and execute it will give all the transports it has collected before ..
Also you can use transport connection in RSA1 and select the query and find out all the objects in query locked by what request etc ..
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • Error in generating Run time version of the KB Object of a VC Product

    Hi All
There is a VC Product which needs to be transported to the CRM server via Middleware.
Hence I need to create a Knowledge Base (KB Object) and generate a Run-Time version of the same.
I am getting an error while generating the Run Time version. The description of the error is as follows:
Object characteristic COSTING_LOT_SIZE is supported in IPC scnearios 3,5
    and
Object characteristic PRICE_LIST is not supported in IPC scnearios.
The exceptions raised are STPO-MENGE (Component Quantity) and SDCOM-VKOND (Variant Condition)
Please provide your inputs and suggestions in this regard.
P.S: Once I generate the run time version successfully, the CRM Middleware Consultant needs to download the VC Product to CRM.
    Thanks in Advance
    Regards
    Chaitanya

    Hi Mike,
It likely is the viewer causing the problem. 2008 now has cascading parameters and the activex viewer does not support them.
All I can suggest is you try CR XI R2 which you can upgrade for free, you have to contact CIC to get a keycode to deploy your app, and test again.
R2 is out of support now so no fixes available...

    Hi,
    please do the following check:
    1. Enter the following URL in your web browser:
    http://<server>:<port>/AdobeDocumentServices/Config
where <server> is the name of the J2EE engine where the Adobe document services are installed and <port> is the port of the J2EE engine.
Note that the entries in the URL are case-sensitive.
    2. The web page of the web service AdobeDocumentServices is displayed. Choose Test.
    3. Choose rpdata(test.…) .
    4. Choose the Send button without entering any parameters.
    5. Enter the user name and password as given in the configuration steps(as in configuration guide- User:ADSUser) .
    6. Choose Submit.
If the configuration is correct, you get the information about the Version number in the response area.
Please confirm the ADS version and WAS information.
    thanks,
    kris

  • Installer Error of LabView Run Time Engine 6.0.2 "premature"

I cannot Install the LabView Run Time Engine on a Computer which runs on Windows 2000.
The Installation breaks on start with the Error Message: "Installation ended premature, because of an Error!"
Does anyone know what to do is ?
    Thanks for Help

It's rather difficult to guess why since the error does not give any more information, but there are a few things you can try. First, if you are installing from a CD, try downloading the installer to your desktop first and then run it. CD-ROMs can sometimes run slower that the installer and this can cause problems. Also, check to see what other NI software may have been installed on this machine and determine if any of it could conflict with the 6.0.2 Run-Time Engine. Just possibilities but hopefully they can get you going!

  • Error 1920 installing run-time 2010

    Hello all,
I am trying to install the CVI 2010 Run-time Engine I downloaded from this page on a Windows 7 Professional machine.
When the installer is trying to start services, after a *loooong* timeout I receive the error:
Error 1920. Service "Lockout Citadel Server" failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
The user I am connected on is the machine administrator.
After clicking Abort the installer starts rolling back the installation and after another *loooong* time I receve another error:
NI Logos 5.2.1 Installation has failed. Continue?.
Tested on 2 different brand new boxes with the same results.
Now the question is: how can I install the run-time engine on a Win7 system?
Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

Hello nick, thanks for looking into this.
I have been performing some tests and at last succeeded in installing the RTE: it seems the problem lies on the privileges the installer is run.
In my tests I created a distribution for the complete application on my development machine and tried installing it on the target one, but received the error "This program needs to be executed with high privileges" or something like this (I'm on an italian version of Win7, and this is an answer to one of your questions).
But why, since I am using an administrator user? (another answer for you )
To be short, the context menu for the distribution installer is this one:
and if I select "Run as administrator" the procedure ends up without errors. Simply double-clicking the program does not run it this way.
I have next tested on the second machine: the RTE installer terminates without errors if run in the same way.
I do not want to uninstall the RTE on those machines and try to get an installation log, but we are waiting another new machine in the next days so I will be able to make some test more in that moment. It will be localized in English: if the problem really lies on privileges hopefully this will make no difference.
If this is the correct path, probably the best solution could be to upgrade the RTE installer so that it issues the privileges message too.
Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

  • FR Report Throwing error while being run from workspace.

While trying to run FR from HFM workspace, its not opening up and instead following error message pops up:
5200: Error executing query: Not enough storage is available to complete this operation.
Please guide me what can be possible reason and how to proceed?
    Thanks in advance,

Increase Virtual memory of the system from which you are running reports.
You can achieve the same by going to Computer -> Properties -> Advanced System Settings.
Check this page : How to increase virtual memory size in Windows 7
Hope this avoids your issue in future.
    Thanks,
    Santy.

  • Error while mapping two times nested table

    Hi,
I have a Product table which has nested ProductSubcategory in it.
ProductSubcategory nested table also has nested table ProductCategory inside it.
So there is a nested table inside nested table.
I designed a dimension on warehoue builder and while mapping, i got "ORA-22913: must specify table name for nested table column or attribute" error.
I mapped nested tables before with using varray iterator and expand object, but they were nested once. Is there any solution for mapping two or more time nested tables?
Now i exracted tables and i continuou working but, i wondered is there any way.
Creation codes are below. Thanx :)
    CREATE TABLE PRODUCT
(     PRODUCTID NUMBER NOT NULL ,
         ProductSubcategory ProductSubcategory,
         MODIFIEDDATE DATE NOT NULL)
NESTED TABLE ProductSubcategory STORE AS ProductSubcategory_TABLE
    ( NESTED TABLE ProductCategoryId STORE AS ProductCategory_TABLE);
CREATE TYPE TYPE_ProductSubcategory AS OBJECT (
         ProductSubcategoryID number ,
         ProductCategoryId ProductCategory ,
         Name Varchar(50) ,
         rowguid varchar2(100) ,
         ModifiedDate date );
CREATE TYPE TYPE_ProductCategory AS OBJECT (
         ProductCategoryID number ,
         Name Varchar(50) ,
         rowguid varchar2(100) ,
         ModifiedDate date );

    Hi,
I agree with u...I am not sure of the environment the user has so i put forth all the 3 option that crossed my mind that time....thats why i said he has to choose what best suits him/her...
Also if the database is huge and we create physical temp tables (option 2 and ur idea) its like having redundant data in the database which is also a problem....So ist upto the user to actually evaluate the situation and come up with what best suits him/her...

    BharathHi,
I understand your opinion. But I am not sure that the user have enough experience to choose the best option by his one. And about the redundant data: because of this I wrote that he should truncate the tables after the last mapping which loads all data into the real target table.

  • Keychain error while setting up Time Machine

I'm trying to back up my computer onto a time capsule using time machine. When I try to configure a back up disk, it prompts me for my time capsule password. After entering the correct password, it displays the following error message: Keychain error -25299 occurred while creating a System Keychain entry for the username “<USERNAME>” and URL “<LOCATION OF BACK UP DISK>”. I have verified and repaired the Keychain Access, and no errors were found.

I had the same problem. WD does indeed support Time Machine set up on the WD World.
The acrobat file walking you through the 15 second set up [hurrah] can be found here: http://www.wdc.com/wdproducts/updates/?family=mbworld [click on the user guide link to download].
My problem was that I was trying to login using my user name rather than the wd_backup that is required via Time Machine.... did not read the set up instructions very carefully.
