Error while importing Financial Reporting in Workspace

Hi,
When I try to import Financial reports through workspace, it is throwing an error saying "Required application module *reporting.HRImport* is not configured."
Can anybody help to resolve this issue?

Error when Open Financial report in workspace

Hi,all:
I open the Financial report in workspace,it prompts an error windows.Waring message as follow:

I confer this warning window,then it prompt another window which contains fields like the username,password ect.I input the same password as the password in the Database Connection Manager,then it runs well.and when i open another report it will not prompt the waring window,but if i log out the workspace ,and re-login,and open a financial report it will prompt the waring window and i have to input the password again.and the password is just the same as i have configued in the database connection management.
I have configued the Database Connection Management which as follow:
Open Workspace, choose Explore
In the File/menu choose Tools/Database Connection Manager
Make sure for the reports that this has the correct server, password, user ID.
I think the operation above is corect.
So,how to run the financial report smothly without input the password in the workspace?where need i to configue?

Hi Everyone,
Although I don't know the exact essbase environment of yours, I did resolve this problem by externalizing the users in Essbase on the server where the financial reports are pointing to.
So in my case, I have two servers, one is called EssServer, where essbase is installed and used as the server for financial report to retrieve data. The other server is called ReportServer, where Financial Report is built and running. So all the financial reports work fine in the studio in ReportServer.
But when I tried to view the report in Workspace in ReportServer, I got the login error as reported by user11314608. Then I went to the EssServer, externalize the users there and the problem is solved.

HTTP 500 error while opening pdf report in Workspace

Hi all,
i have a HFM - FDM - Financial Reporting 11.1.1.3 installation at a custommer that is working fine.
Except for the fact that when i open a report (doesn't matter if it's from the studio or workspace) in pdf it gives an HTTP 500 internal server error.
I can open the report in HTML withous any problems.
I really don't have a clue where to search. Has anyone a suggestion?

The above registry fix worked for me, however, I wanted to clarify the registry key to edit, since I think the poster above me forgot one of the folders:
Regedit - > HKLM -> SOFTWARE -> Hyperion solutions -> HReports -> JVM ->JVM option 2 -> default is -xmx256m

Wrror while running financial report in workspace

Hi,
The following error is keep coming and obstructing the financial report output in workspace.

I am able to open the report layout in FR studio from my local system but cant do the same in FR report server getting an error "Failed to Connect to the server".

Workspace - Error when trying to import Financial Reports

I am trying to import some Financial Reports, but when I goto Navigate>Explore, then I right click on the folder where I want the reports and then click Imort>Financial Reports, I get this error message;
"Your Financial Reporting Web Server is unable to locat the report server epm.southbay.local:8299. Please contact your administrator. (5514)"
Also, when trying to log into Financial Reporting Studio I use the server name and port 8200, but its gives me an error message of;
"You are not authorized to use this functionality. Contact your administrator"
I have check the provisioning and I have all provisions assigned to me.
How can I log into the Financial Reporting Studio and import financial reports in Workspace?

Solution:
1) Right click on certresponse.crt
2) Rename to certresponse.p7r3) Right Click on certresponse.p7r -> Open
4) Select the file with your domain name
5) Right Click -> All Tasks -> Export
6) Then import this in to the J2EE Key Store

Proxy error while running the financial report in workspace.

We are using the Hyperion financial reporting 9.3.1 with Essbase as a data source.
While running a report in workspace, we are getting the 'Proxy error' meassage, which is following-

We are using Microsoft Internet explorer 6.0. I am not sure about the 'proxy' (As we don't have any proxy setting in Tool--> Internet options--> connection--> LAN setting). We are accessing the Workspace and FR studio via Citrix application. How can I check the proxy.
Also, I noticed one more point, Report has prompt for seleting 'Account hierarchy'.If we run the report only for one account hierarchy, report is returning the data but while running for multiple account hierarchy, it is throwing the 'Proxy error' as memtioned above.
Please help us on this.

After this configuration error, everything is ok in the worskpace except Financial Reporting elements.
After this configuration error, every configuration fails, I'm obliged to uninstall all the components of this server (Workspace Web and Financial Reporting).
This issue comes from the configuration of Financial Reporting in Workspace Web : Financial reporting is available from worskpaces of servers B and C.

maintain ports in xi system with naming convention <SAP(system id of R/3 )>EX: SAPSR3,and assign proper RFC destination to it...and in the same way do it in R/3 system
Check note 838560 for "RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE "
and Depending on what database you use check the database logs.

Error with Preferences in Financial Reports on workspace

Hi,
I am unable to open Financial Reporting through workspace(File->Preferences->Financial Reports)
Here is the error in popup window
Handler:'com.hyperion.reporting.web.common.HRPrefrsHandler' not found for module with id: reporting HRPrefs
Here my Query is
1. does the issue resolved if we add ip and FR server name in Host file(windows)
or
2. it may be any issue with Firewall or Browser( i'm using IE8 with Hyperion Workspace v11.1.1.1)
Could any one please help me on this..

This means that workspace cannot connect to financial reporting through your web server.
Check that Financial reporting web service is up.
Direct to the JVM
http://svr:8200/hr (svr is where your financial reporting web service is installed)
Through the web server:
http://ohssvr:19000/hr
If the first link does not work check the logs to your financial reporting web service (user_projects\domains search *.log for Financial Reporting)
If the second does not come up, maybe reconfigure your web server using the Oracle Config tool.
Also, make sure you are coming into workspace using port 19000 (through the web and not through the jvm port 45000)

I've seen umarshalling error when there is a difference between the client and server version. Is there a patch applied? I would recommend to uninstall the existing one and install if from Workspace. (this will ensure that you've the correct client version)

Error while importing 10.2.0.3 dumpfile on 11.2.0.1Database

Hi All,
I am getting the below error while importing an 10g dump on an 11g Database.
The command which i am executing is
C:\Users>impdp directory=TEST_DIR parallel=4 dumpfile=TEST_%U.dmp logfile=TEST.log schemas=TEST
The Error is :
ORA-39002: invalid operation
ORA-31694: master table "SYS"."SYS_IMPORT_SCHEMA_01" failed to load/unload
ORA-02354: error in exporting/importing data
ORA-02368: the following file is not valid for this load operation
ORA-02369: internal number in header in file H:\TEST\TEST_03.dmp is not valid
Which means TEST_03.dmp is not valid but when i am executing the same Import by using the below command
C:\Users>impdp directory=TEST_DIR parallel=4 dumpfile=TEST_01.dmp,TEST_02.dmp,TEST_03.dmp,TEST_04.dmp logfile=TEST.log schemas=TEST
Is Throwing an error as
ORA-39001: invalid argument value
ORA-39000: bad dump file specification
ORA-31619: invalid dump file "H:\TEST\TEST_04.dmp"
So i am confused that in previous command it was stating TEST_03.dmp is not valid and in above command it throwing error as TEST_04.dmp is valid.
Can anyone help me why there is such discrepencies in it while i am running the same commands.

Hi,
I would think that all the files are 'bad' in some way but the command is just accessing the files in a different order when run in the two different ways. All the files have to be read at the initial phase of the import.
I think you'll likely find that if you change the order of the files in your second command the bad file will be reported as a different file - oracle often validates things from right to left.
The % option is probably ordering the files in some random sequence and it just so happened that TEST03.dmp was checked first.
The most likely cause of the error is that the files were transferred to the server in the correct ftp mode.

I am facing below error while importing process flow mdls in OWB 11.2.0.3:
ERROR
Informational: MDL1328: PROJECT MTH not imported since the object in MDL file
is the same as the object in the workspace.
Error at line 11: MDL1261: Error importing PROCESS_FLOW_MODULE MTH.MTH_PF.
Detailed Error Message:
MDL1409: Cannot import PROCESS_FLOW_MODULE with physical name <MTH_PF>
because a PROCESS_FLOW_MODULE <MTH_PF> with the same physical name already
exists.
Can someone please let me know on how this can be resolved.

the first information warning message is ok, the 2nd ones should be gone if you use the replace mode

Error while importing the user Records through SCC7

Hi Basis Gurus,
We are doing the post DB Refresh Activities for a Sandbox .
Refresh is done from D21 to S21.
We are stuckup with an error while importing the user Records(scc7).
The exported user records request from D21 is dumped in the trans directory of S38 and imported in to S21 using TP commands at O/S level. The import is done successfully( RC 4 with warnings).
But now when we run SCC7 (post import activities) in the background the process is getting cancelled right in the begining.
Error Occured in SCC3 log
Table logging disabled in program RSCLXCOP by user SAP*"
R/3 Version is 4.6C OS:AIX5.3

I looks like you have incorrect parameters of client copy in the S21 system.
You can change the parameters in S21 system,
by executing report RSCLXCOP (via transaction SE38 or SA38) in S21.
Search parameters that related to table logging/sap*
