Error while installing Agent using Agent Push Method

Hi All,
I have installed Oracle EM Grid 10.2.0.1 on Linux 4 (Enterprise). I have moved my repository database to another host. Grid(oms,repo db,agent) is working fine. But i am trying to install one agent in remote host using Agent push method. I am getting the error

I verified SSH connectivity,TZ...
In remote host, 2 oracle application instances are running and repository DB. I have created one directory in repository db location and installing in that directory. This error is coming in Install Stage. I checked the oracle inventory permission and other 2 instance installed directory permission. Inventory owner is oracle. Oracle EBS mount point owner is root. But it is having read, write permission.
Is this a bug? Will this resolve after applying 10.2.0.5 patch.
Please let me know a solution for this.

I suggest trying to install a different version to confirm the error. Do you have SELinux enabled? It can cause weird errors. You can check the syslog /var/adm/messages to see if there were any SELinux errors.

Error while installing Equipment using IE4N

Hi All,
I am working in ECC 6.0, in which when I am using T Code IE4N (Dismantling/Installation of eqpt.) for installation of equipment. When I am trying to do this system issues a error:
At least one error was reported by the installation check routines
Message no. IEN130
Diagnosis
At least one message with a serious error has been reported while performing the different checks and validations for the equipment installation.
System Response
The installation process is aborted. The system cannot save your entries.
Procedure
Open the application log and verify all error messages. You can either try to correct the error, if possible, or activate the "Forced Installation Mode" to overrule the check results. In either case, save your entries again to restart the installation process.
When I checked further, system allows me to do force installation of equipment.
Is there any problem in doing force installation / dismantling?
How to overcome this, I mean doing installation without forcibly.
If anyone has any information on this config control settings, kindly furnish details. It would be of great help to me.

Hi
IE4N involves lot of input details, such as Ref order, material Reservation, Movement type, Storage location, Plant etc. Also if it is a serialised material then those details also needs to be given as input. If there is any discrepency in those details, then system will show error. Check the error log and find the root cause. If you do forced installation, it may create problems in the future especially for MM and FICO.
If you can give complete error log, we can figure out the root cause.

Hi,
After finshing of installation with that warning msg , u need to run the SMDSetup script manually in the server as like below.
1. Open a prompt command and navigate to the script folder inside of the agent path: usr/sap/<SID_AGT>/SMDAXX/script
2. Run the smdsetup script as the following examples:

- smdsetup managingconf hostname:"sapms://solman.full.qual.host.name" port:"81XX" user:"SMD_ADMIN" pwd:"XXXXXXXX"

Error while executing agent. ORABPEL-05006

Hi:
I have a bpel process waiting until a DbAdapter (with one Wait Activity) reads a record on database, but the problem is :
- The record is in the database
- The DbAdapter read it but the process don´t continue.
- If the process is monitored by the Bpel Console it seems like it is waiting for the expiration of the wait activity, but the expiration time is reached.
When i restart the OC4J_BPEL the process that was waiting , continues.
i was looking the log file of the oc4j and it throws the following exception, could anybody help me??

Sshd error while deploying agent to remote host

Hi,
Am getting the following error while deploying agent to remote host.
SSH Setup failed on nodes: localhost. SSH setup failed because of any of the following reasons:
sshd has gone down while doing SSH setup.
The platform of the provided hosts may be incorrect. Please verify it.
Fix above problems and Continue OR do manual ssh setup running command: "<OMS_HOME>/sysman/prov/resources/scripts/sshUserSetupNT.sh -hosts "user-pc" -user karthick -localPlatformGrp win -asUser SYSTEM [-asUserGrp root] -sshLocalDir \.ssh -homeDir $HOME". Check the log file at <OMS_HOME>\sysman\prov\agentpush\2011-08-18_10-45-16-AM\logs\sshSetup2011-08-18_11-19-21-AM.log for more information.
I tried the following from both the host and working fine.

Error while installing Solaris 10 using Solaris CD

I'm getting an error while installing Solaris 10 in an Ultra 10 box.
I have Solaris CDs (Total 4) and I have installed Solaris 10 in a Ultra 250 box , I did not get any problem. That means CDs are fine.
But when I try to boot the CD 1 from bootPROM mode by giving the following command
ok boot cdrom
I get the following error :
rebooting with CD command boot cdrom
boot device : /pci@1f, 0/pci@1 , 1/idi@3/cdrom@2 ,0:f file and args
Cant read disk label
Cant open disk label package
evaluating : boot cdrom
Cant open boot device
Then the box boots up with Solaris 8 which it has now..
Can anyone please help me to solve this issue ?

I have the following error while installing High Availability Database instance
with option system copy-> restore from offline backup.

I tried installing oracle 11g in centos using Tim's tutorial and i all went fine initially i got the oracle 11g installation GUI and i got an error while starting database configuration.
The error was : TNS failed
and i got two options in that dialog box "ignore" and "abort"
after press ignore a few times.the installation finished successfully.
When i opened terminal and typed
sqlplus SYS as SYSDBA
it asked for password
when i gave the password again it showed the error TNS failed
kindly help me solve this.....

Error while installing OEM Grid Control

I am getting error while installing OEM Grid control (with existing database) at OMS Configuration. So, I cancelled the installation and deleted all databases and started the instal again. I am still getting an error at OMS configuration.
I am trying to read through the threads here to see if anyone has solved it. I see a lot of threads on this topic but not sure how you guys resolved it.
Can anyone help here.
In the oracle installer, I see the message : The c:\oraclehomes\agent10g\cfgtoollogs\configToolfailedCommands" script contains all commans that failed, were skipped or cancelled ....
--in this file, all I see is:

go to AOh\bin and run agentca -f and check agent status

Error while installing web tools.

I am currently trying to install E-Commerce and Web CRM on a Windows Vista desktop PC, that we are going to use as a Demo PC for potential customers. It is just a demo, so everything is being installed locally on the Demo PC. I run into an error while installing the Web Tools
After the Default Install and before I precede to the Advanced install, I browse to - localhost/B1webtools - and rather than load up the webtools license key request page, I am getting the following error.
HTTP Error 404.17 - Not Found
The requested content appears to be script and will not be served by the static file handler.
I didn't run into any errors during the default install, and it appeared to function just right.
Does anyone know what would cause this error???

Okay so I changed my Application pool and it solved that error. Now I'm able to get the page that has a link to the request license page, but when I click on that link it gives me this error:

after 50% install.. it says
"Error in writing to file c:\oracle\ora9201\bin\oci.dll
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process"
Apparently I have restarted the workstation and closed all oracle related services in services and no other program is running expect the installer.
Can any one help in resolving the issue. Or can I hit the ignore button and continue installing?

Always install OWB into a new ORACLE_HOME unless the Installation and Configuration Guide states otherwise. This has only happened twice. OWB 9.0.2.62.3 was the last version to allow installation into an existing ORACLE_HOME. Another thing you can do is go to www.sysinternals.com and download the utility LISTDLLs. It is great. From a command prompt, start it with the syntax: listdlls >log.txt
This will output the DLLs in use and which executable is using it. Search for the DLL in the log.txt and scroll up until the double line. The executable name locking the DLL will be above the double line. If you have the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator Service running on the client, it will lock Oracle DLLs. This has been a common issue in the past, going back to the days of Data Mart Suite. This was documented in the Release Notes for it and may still be in the system in a note somewhere. It is in: DMS: Unable To Install; Filesopen/Service Running On Compaq Server Doc ID: Note:1080977.6 and Certain Files which need to be Reinstalled are Being Used Doc ID: Note:117672.1

Error while installing Oracle 10g on Fedora Core 1. After 40% of the Installation is thru, the progress bar is showing 40%, it gives error "Not connected to Oracle" and the installation has to be terminated.
We have tried by using the on-line procedure and changing the required script to make believe it as said.

When I am installing 'SAP NetWeaver Suite'the below error came, can someone help me out on this below error?
MOS-01011 'C:\usr\sap\BWI\SYS\exe\run/sapstartsrv.exe' returned with '-1'.
The J2EE server is up unrunning @ the installing the Netweaver ABAP Instance I got this error.
For the user BWI it has the Administrator previlages i checked so many time but I am unable to get it.
Please help me out the error.
