Error while installing quicktime and/or Itunes, please help.

Okay, it all started when I tried to update Itunes, while installing the new Itunes an error came, so I had to uninstall it all and reinstall. However, now whenever I try to reinstall quicktime, it gives this error.
The path uninstall quicktime for the map contains an invalid character.
However, it doesn't even specifiy which map, anyone has an idea how to solve this problem?

It could be that when your original quicktime was removed it was not removed completely. I would try to install QT again then look for it in Add/Remove programmes. Try to repair if you get given the option, or if not try removing again.
Then, download the standalone QT to your desktop. Switch off antivirus and spy software and try a fresh install of QT. See if it works then.

Error while playing an audio file. Please help!

Hi all,
I'm trying to transfer an audio file from server to client and play it after transferring the whole file. But the play command opens up the player and gives me the error saying the file is corrupted. I see that some of the lines in the copied file are missing when compared with the original file. I couldnt understand why this is happening in a TCP connection. Can anyone please help me with this.

I think you are trying to activate the transformation.
Have you tried to generate proposal?
I think you will get the following error message :
Cannot generate proposal
Message no. RSTRAN017
the system would never generate a proposal . u need to map the fields manually in the transformations... after u map it ... check the mapping and activate it ...
Due to this when you are going to activate the transformation it is throwing this error message.
If this works kindly assign me some points.

Ipod mini and new itunes please help

i got my computer cleaned so it wiped out everything but i asked the people to save itunes they said the songs are still there i just have to download the softwhere but i dont have the disk... and i had the old version of itunes. what do i do to gownload the old itunes if i dont have a disk to get my songs up? and then how do i transfer them to the new verison of itunes and/or do i even need the new verison sence i have an ipod mini 6 GB and i have about 550 songs on it with an adio book please help me

That's consistent with disk/file damage on the PC.
Try running a disk check over the C drive. There's instructions in the following document. (Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.)

Does the Disk Check find/repair any errors? If so, can you get the QuickTime install to go through properly afterwards?

Error while installing Informatica 8.6.1 - Require Help

Hi,
I'm trying to install Informatica 8.6.1 in Solaris SPARC 64-bit machine.
The installation fails with the following error when trying to create domains.

Error while running adcfgclone on database tier please help me

I am doing cloning through cold backup and i face some errors..here is my logfile.....please suggest me some solution...

Error while SOAP Client Request , can u please Help me ?

The following Error I am getting While the Java Guys trying ti call the Webservice , which i have defined in X I .

My scenario is like I want via web service I need to pass request to RFC and get the response back . This calling webservice is external java application .
Can u please tell me What steps i have to do in XI ?
I have to do synchronous Interface between RFC and webservice right ?
First I have done this scenario by designing IR and in Configuration I have used SOAP Sender and RFC Receiver adapter . Using Synchronous Interface
Using Tools -- > Define WebService . I have Defined that as WebService . I has creatd the WSDL File for me.
I have given the SWDL file and the URL like the following
http://xidev:8021/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:BS_DISTANCE_CHECK_SOAP:CC_DistanceCheck_SOAP_Sender
If i copy and paste this URL in my pc .It is showing the Message Servlet Status OK . and some informations also it is giving .
But the java guys try to use this URL in their web service calling module it is not working .
The way what i have done is corret ? or something i have to do ?
What input i have to give to Java Guys to call the webservice ?

I have tested in AltovaXML Spy it is working

I don't think the code you are using will work with SFTP/SSH server. The code you are using is for FTP which is a different protocol.

Getting an "Internal Error" while trying to export.. Please Help??????

I am using Windows 7 with photoshop cs5 on a PC. When i try and export an image to my canon printer I get a popup telling me that an "internal error has occured". What is wierd is everything was fine before and have used it a bunch of times then all of a sudden it stopped. I have tryed to unistall photoshop then reinstall and everything. I am trying to export to a canon plugin so i can print from photoshop. Any one have any ideas on how to fix this problem. I am extremely frustrated. Thanks

Yes that is all that pops up. Its really weird. When i export it gets about half way on the progress bar then a little box pops up saying " An Internal Error..." I don't remember all the words but it is less than 5 words. Never thought it could be the plugin. How do you delete a plug in that was installed on photoshop? Thanks

Error while trying to save page edits, please help!

I am using SharePoint online 365 and when I try to make an edit to a page, I am getting this error message after hitting the save button.
I had previously attempted at deleting the two lines of text in the HTML that would allow breadcrumbs to appear again, however when that did not work, I switched back to the original master page. ( I was ONLY editing a Copy of the master page, I never made
any changes to what was in the original file.
We are using the Seattle master page.
Also, I am only getting this error message on some of the pages, not all of them. I am able to get into the page and make edits to the web parts, then when I hit the save button in the upper right hand corner, I am brought to this page. This problem is
also being recreated on multiple different computers logged into the same account, trying to make the same changes.
I am really new to using SharePoint and can not seem to find a solution to this myself. If anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.
Or if there is an option to just restore to the very original file of the master page without losing any of the document libraries and apps that I have put together then I am willing to give that a try as well!

It may have been deleted or renamed by another user.

Try using SharePoint designer to connect to O365 and revert your master page, or else you can revert to the previous version of your Master page that was working before.

Error while transporting transformations and datasource Urgent need Help

Hi all,
I have been working on this problem for a few days now. I created an ODS object, transformations, DTP and I am using a R/3 datasource for extraction. The ODS populates fine in the Dev box, the tranformations and the datasource are fine only in the Dev box. I tried to tranport the objects to the QA box from the Dev Box. Only the ODS transports properly. The transformations are not transported at all. Here is the error I get:

No rule exists
Rule 1 of transformation () is not valid and is being deleted
Rule 2 of transformation () is not valid and is being deleted

Please do let me know what could be the problem. Please do respond ASAP......
if you experienced this issue please let me know how you solved it or a possible work around. any help will be greatly appreciated....
So far we have been using only 3.5 objects. This is the first 7.0 (end to End) transport.

I just followed the exact sequence that you mentioned. I transported the
DataSource first....then ODS(write optimized)....then transformations....then Dtp & infopackage.
data source ... no errors
2) ODS ..... no errors
3) Transformations .... Error....same as mentioned in my earlier post....
4) DTP and Infopackage ....Error similar to whats mentioned ...and it says that transformation does not exist.
Could it be an issue with Source System Translation ..... I dont know much about it .....could you please tell me what it could be and how to resolve it. I am thinking in these lines because the source system in QA3 exists in the Data Souces Folder and it has translated properly to QA3Client300. But under the Infoproviders folder (in Q03)...under my DSO the data source still shows Dev3Client 200(client not changed). If this is the issue do you think I need to talk to Basis support for asking them to modify the transport(internally)......can it be done....

Itunes shuts down while downloading cd (music) onto itunes please help!!!!

My computer has been shutting down each time I attempt to transfer music from a cd onto itunes. I have tried deleting my itunes from my computer and installing the new version, however I continue to experience this problem. Itunes will allow me to get 6 to 8 tracks downloaded from my cd and then it shuts down my entire computer. Any help would be appreciated...THANK YOU!!!!!!

I would start here. I would also go to your computer manufacturer's site and download all the latest firmware for your computer, including for your CD drives.
