Error while installing Xcelsius 2008

Hi,
We are getting error while installing Xcelsius 2008 version 5.3.....
"The upgrade patch cannot be installed by windows installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch"
Kindly suggest how to install the Xcelsius latest verion.

Sorry if you've already done this, but have you installed Xcelsius 2008 SP3 first? It sounds like you are trying to install a fix pack without first installing Xcelsius 2008.
The downloads are all available from the [downloads service market place|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/] (as per the stickied thread)
If you choose Service Pack as the software type it will allow for download of the SP3 full install.
OR
Could it be this issue [Xcelsius FP3.5 error installing Excel2010; with solution from F. Kooij if you are referring to the latest fix pack 3.5 with Office 2010?

I have a big problem, I need install Xcelsius 2008 on Windows vista, but when I install the software apper the nex message:

From a brief Google search, I determined this error message is from Vista. It is not being produced by Xcelsius. You will need to do your own search and determine what is causing Vista to report this error. You can also try installing using instructions for Xcelsius installation on Vista posted elsewhere in these forums.

I'm coming across the following error while installing Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2

Also with error you posted I guess it is a known issue .You need to install below package and then continue with fresh installation

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Setup Bootstrap\Log

I've just tried to install Xcelsius 2008 fp3.2 (I am currently on Xcelsius 2008 sp3). I did read the installation notes, and I wonder if the problem I had is related to the fact that I am not logged in as administrator (I'm on XP).
The package extracted and as the installer ran I got the message:
'Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform oaths are valid'.

To resolve this error, copy all files from the disc to a local computer location (for example, the desktop). Install Crystal Xcelsius from the setup.exe file at that location.

Occasionally, mid-way through the upgrade, DB permissions to users might change. Check to see, if the users SAP<SID>, OPS$ users have the DBA privilege. Re-assign the role and try continuing with the upgrade.

It is not a matter of which one is better. If you want to upgrade 11.5.10 (or above) to 11.5.10.2, then you need to apply 11.5.10 CU2 Patch 3460000.
11.5.10.2 Maintenance Pack (i.e. Patch 3480000) should be applied if you upgrade from Oracle Apps 11i release 11.5.9 (or below) to 11.5.10.2

Errors while installing Oracle BPEL Server version 10.1.3.1.0

I am new to Oracle middleware. Ofcourse I am not new to middleware altogether.
I am getting wide varieties of errors while installing the software. Everytime a new error is popping up.I have installed/uninstalled the software for almost 10 times and I have started loosing faith on the software and the support There is absolutely no documentation what so ever.
I find this forum may be able to help.

I have updated the hosts file with the the loop back address.
You mentioned "You need to be able to resolve your machine's FQDN to the IP you allocated the loopback adapter". Is there anything specifc you would like me to try.
BTW I am using oracle lite and I have chosen the option " for developers" while installing the BPEL PM software
The settings you have indicated if I am correct are for fullOracle DB than OracleLite. If it is, cna you post similar settings for Oracle Lite.

i am trying to install Oracle 10gr2 in IBM Zlinux environment. I am getting the following error, while installing the database. This error was thrown
as pop up while passing database config. step.
ORACLE_HOME, LD_LOAD_LIBRARY, ORACLE_SID are set properly.
I have also tried re-linking all libraries, it did not work.
