Error while invoking web services from Proxy services in OSB

I have a Proxy Service of message type in Oracel Service Bus 10gR3 and it passes the incoming messages from a JMS Queue to Business Service of Web Services type. This Web Service is hosted in Glass Fish v3 and it's binding style is RPC. The JRE used in both the servers are 1.6.0_20. The JMS message is of Text type. The Web Services at the Glass Fish throws MessageCreationException for any content of the JMS message. However, it works fine if Business Service's test client is invoked from the OSB'S Admin Console. However, the same will not work if Proxy Service's test client is called.
The detailed exception stack is given below :

Let me explain what I am trying to achieve. Our application receives data from multiple sources - from mainframe using FTP, JMS Queue and BPM application using Web Services. The data from all these sources are sending to a Web Service running in GlassFish V3. To handle this I have created three Proxy Services and one Business Service on OSB. The Business Service is of type Web Service using the same WSDL from the target Web Service.
The Proxy Services are configured as follows:
Proxy 1 (type - Messaging service) listens to the JMS Queue and receives JMS Text Message -> Business Service(B1) (Web Service).
Proxy 2 (type - Messaging service Polls files from the FTP Server -> Business Service(B1) (Web Service).
Proxy 3 (type - Web service) is invoked by the BPM application and sends a String -> Business Service(B1) (Web Service).
All the Proxies route to the same Business Service - B1 which calls the Web Service in GlassFish. The only Proxy that works fine is Proxy 3 which is created using the same WSDL of the Web Service. In the other two proxies it thows the same exception in GlassFish as I mentioned before.
com.sun.xml.ws.protocol.soap.MessageCreationException: Couldn't create SOAP message due to exception: XML reader error: com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxEOFException: Unexpected EOF in prolog at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,0] at com.sun.xml.ws.encoding.SOAPBindingCodec.decode(SOAPBindingCodec.java:359)
Is this configuration correct to achieve my requirements?
Once again thanks for the help.

    I am having a JCA connector which is calling the CCA Method.
    CCA uses the web services for method invocation and i have created the jar file for the web service proxies. teh proxies are of RPC type. I have include the jar file in the connector project for reference.
    I have written a webservice client which will get the connection abject and invoke a method which internally invokes the CCA method.
    During this time it is giving this error.
    Please note that i have included the wsclient-extend.jar file ,wsclient jar file in both the connector project and the client project.
    Thanks

    You have to add the jaxrpc library in the server.xml configuration of your embedded oc4j.
    Line:
    <import-shared-library name="oracle.ws.jaxrpc"/>
    You have to do this twice: in the adf.oracle.domain and the adf.generic.domain shared lib entries.
    Then, you have to do this again in the system-application.xml file (only once).

  • Error while running SSIS package from Integration service or via Job

    Hi All,
    I encounter the below error while running SSIS Package from Job or integration service. However on execution completes success fully while running from data tools. The issue occurs after migration to 2012 from 2oo5 dtsx. PFB the error.
    SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED.  The PrimeOutput method on OLE DB Source returned error code 0xC02020C4.  The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning of the failure code is defined by
    the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing.  There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure.
    A buffer failed while allocating 10485760 bytes.
    The system reports 26 percent memory load. There are 206110765056 bytes of physical memory with 150503776256 bytes.
    free. There are 2147352576 bytes of virtual memory with 185106432 bytes free. The paging file has 208256339968 bytes with 145642921984 bytes free.
    The package also runs successfully from other servers. This happens only in one of our server.seems like issue with some sql configuration.

    Hi ,
    Are you running using SQL Agent Job and Data tools on same server or different?
    If it is executing fine using Data tools and failing with Job it might be User credentials issue.Try
    to run Job with your credentials by using proxy .

    Hi Suresh varma
    Did you get any answer for your problem?
    I'm having the exact same problem. Working with Weblogic 8.1 SP6 and getting this strange message whenever I'm calling my data service.
    I've followed the guidlines given on the URL posted here, and still getting the same message.
    Let me know if you have any idea.
    Cheers

  • Deserialization Error while invoking web service from JDeveloper 10g

    When we tried to invoke a web service from JDeveloper version 10.1.3.4.0.4270, we got deserialization error.Here are the steps that we did to invoke the web service.
    1. Using WSDL URL, downloaded WSDL file and associated XSD files into local machine using wsa.jar utility.
    2. Using JDeveloper, created web service proxy project by referring the local WSDL file.Proxy got generated successfully.
    3. Secured the proxy using "secure proxy" option.
    4. Assigned all required values for parameters for web method.
    5. When tried to invoke the web service, got deserialization error.

    We think that the exact cause for the problem is as follows.
    1. If we check the XSD file corresponds to response object, for one of the element, the type is decimal
    <xsd:element minOccurs="0" name="ParentValueSetId" nillable="true" type="xsd:decimal"/>
    2. In the SOAP response, this element is empty so during deserialization, the numer format exception occurred in LiteralSimpleTypeSerializer class.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Error while invoking web service through weblogic 10

    While invoking a particular web service from other system it gives following error in instance finder
    exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Read timed out
    After that when it is invoked and run without error, we are getting double identical entiries in our database one for failed one and other for successful.
    suppose if it is failed 3 times and after that it succeeds then we are getting 4 identical entries in DB (3 failed and 1 success).
    Entries updated in DB as per API so we cant change logic.
    Can anyone suggest how it can be avoided.?
    what is the root cause of this error and how it can be handled?

    Which version/platform are you using?
    The thing you need to consider here is that the JDev proxy settings do not affect the BPEL server.
    So if the BPEL server cannot connect to your webservice, it will not be because of any Jdev setting.
    Check the proxy settings on your BPEL server (on 10.1.2 developer install it will be in obsetenv.bat, on 10.1.3 it will be a commandline property of the JVM - see AS Control administration page for the JVM)

    Hi Jani,
    Thanks for your reply.
    I am new to webservices and we are trying to do a POC on invoking FinancialUtilService using HTTP proxy client. I am following steps mentioned in attached pdf section "Invoking FinancialUtil Service using Web Service Proxy Client". I have imported certificate using below command.
         keytool -import -trustcacerts -file D:\Retek\Certificate.cer -alias client -keystore D:\Retek\default-keystore.jks -storepass welcome1
    Invoking
        SecurityPolicyFeature[] securityFeature =
        new SecurityPolicyFeature[] { new
        SecurityPolicyFeature("oracle/wss11_saml_token_with_message_protection_client_policy")};
        financialUtilService_Service = new FinancialUtilService_Service();
        FinancialUtilService financialUtilService= financialUtilService_Service.getFinancialUtilServiceSoapHttpPort(securityFeature);
        // Get the request context to set the outgoing addressing properties
        WSBindingProvider wsbp = (WSBindingProvider)financialUtilService;
        WSEndpointReference replyTo =
          new WSEndpointReference("https://efops-rel91-patchtest-external-fin.us.oracle.com/finFunShared/FinancialUtilService", WS_ADDR_VER);
        String uuid = "uuid:" + UUID.randomUUID();
        wsbp.setOutboundHeaders( new StringHeader(WS_ADDR_VER.messageIDTag, uuid), replyTo.createHeader(WS_ADDR_VER.replyToTag));
        wsbp.getRequestContext().put(WSBindingProvider.USERNAME_PROPERTY, "fin_user1");
        wsbp.getRequestContext().put(WSBindingProvider.PASSWORD_PROPERTY,  "Welcome1");
        wsbp.getRequestContext().put(ClientConstants.WSSEC_RECIPIENT_KEY_ALIAS,"service");

  • SAMLAssertionID error while invoking webservice through webservice proxy

    I have created a web service proxy client using service WSDL deployed to weblogic standalone server as per the Fusion Dev guide [http://fmwdocs.us.oracle.com/doclibs/fmw/E10285_01/appslib7/web.1111/b31974/web_services.htm#CJADCDBG]. Hi Subramanyam,
    There is a very simple way to invoke web service through code using ServiceFactory classes. See if you can access this link[http://fmwdocs.us.oracle.com/doclibs/fmw/E10285_01/appslib7/doc.1111/e10308/uc_adf_to_adf.htm#BDCEDDDC]. Looks like creating proxy through Jdev and writing client code using ServiceDelegateImpl is a very costly approach, it creates lot of files and it fails to invoke service when SAML is enabled in the server side.
    If you could not access this link, follow these steps
    1. In connections.xml
    <Reference name="{http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/sales/territoryMgmt/territories/territoryService/}TerritoryService" className="oracle.jbo.client.svc.Service" xmlns="">
    <Factory className="oracle.jbo.client.svc.ServiceFactory"/>
    <RefAddresses>
    <StringRefAddr addrType="serviceInterfaceName">
    <Contents>oracle.apps.sales.territoryMgmt.territories.territoryService.TerritoryService</Contents>
    </StringRefAddr>
    <StringRefAddr addrType="serviceEndpointProvider">
    <Contents>ADFBC</Contents>
    </StringRefAddr>
    <StringRefAddr addrType="jndiName">
    <Contents>TerritoryServiceBean#oracle.apps.sales.territoryMgmt.territories.territoryService.TerritoryService</Contents>
    </StringRefAddr>
    <StringRefAddr addrType="serviceSchemaName">
    <Contents>TerritoryService.xsd</Contents>
    </StringRefAddr>
    <StringRefAddr addrType="serviceSchemaLocation">
    <Contents>oracle/apps/sales/territoryMgmt/territories/territoryService/</Contents>
    </StringRefAddr>
    <StringRefAddr addrType="jndiFactoryInitial">
    <Contents>weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory</Contents>
    </StringRefAddr>
    <StringRefAddr addrType="jndiProviderURL">
    <Contents>t3://adc60108fems.us.oracle.com:6046</Contents>
    </StringRefAddr>
    <StringRefAddr addrType="jndiSecurityPrincipal">
    <Contents>SALES_ADMIN</Contents>
    </StringRefAddr>
    <StringRefAddr addrType="jndiSecurityCredentials">
    <Contents>Welcome1</Contents>
    </StringRefAddr>
    </RefAddresses>
    </Reference>
    2. Create a java file with a main method, sample code to invoke service
    import commonj.sdo.helper.DataFactory;
    import oracle.jbo.client.svc.ServiceFactory;
    public static void territoryGet(){
    String TERRITORY_SERVICE_NAME = "{http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/sales/territoryMgmt/territories/territoryService/}TerritoryService";
    TerritoryService terrService = (TerritoryService)ServiceFactory.getServiceProxy(TERRITORY_SERVICE_NAME);
    DataFactory dataFactory = ServiceFactory.getDataFactory(terrService);
    // Create Territory
    Territory territory = (Territory)dataFactory.create(Territory.class);
    territory.setTerritoryLevel(1L);
    territory.setStatusCode("FINALIZED");
    java.util.Date currentDate = new java.util.Date();
    Calendar cal = Calendar.getInstance();
    cal.setTime(currentDate);
    territory.setEffectiveEndDate(new java.sql.Date(cal.getTimeInMillis()));
    territory.setEffectiveStartDate(new java.sql.Date(cal.getTimeInMillis()));
    List<Territory> lst = terrService.findTerritoriesInPartition(territory, "PRODUCTION");
    System.out.println("Size: " + lst.size());
    I also had succeeded using ServiceDeleteImpl, but i prefer ServiceFactory which is very simple. I can also share how to achieve using the proxy which jdev generates.

  • Error while invoking stored procedure from BPEL process

    Hi Folks,
    I am facing the below mentioned issue while invoking a stored procedure in BPEL process :
    I am trying to invoke a stored procedure from a BPEL process. The process runs fine for the first/second time, but gives the below error after that whenever i try to run the process :
    file:/oracle/orasoa/bpel/domains/default/tmp/.bpel_ProvisionOrderASAPReqABCSImpl_1.0_50dd1595129e9bbb00560e31e7c18cef.tmp/DB_CALL_GetPendingSubscriptionProc.wsdl [ DB_CALL_GetPendingSubscriptionProc_ptt::DB_CALL_GetPendingSubscriptionProc(InputParameters,OutputParameters) ] - WSIF JCA Execute of operation 'DB_CALL_GetPendingSubscriptionProc' failed due to: Error while trying to prepare and execute an API.

    An error occurred while preparing and executing the PROC_GET_PENDING_SUBSCR API. Cause: java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: Connection reset [Caused by: Io exception: Connection reset]
    Check to ensure that the API is defined in the database and that the parameters match the signature of the API. Contact oracle support if error is not fixable.
    I am not getting how the BPEL is referring to the DB wsdl from the tmp folder. To resolve this issue, we have to stop the SOA server, delete the tmp files, and restart the server.
    Any pointers in this regard will be really helpful.

    First of all does this scenario occur again.
    "Works first/second time. Later gives this error."
    After you restart the SOA server are you able to reproduce this scenario?
    As already pointed out and from the error message, database connection is reset.
    If you find this error again, try this out.
    em -> home / oc4j_soa -> Administration -> JDBC Resources
    Use the "Test Connection" option for the Connection Pool that you are using for your database JNDI.
    It comes back and say "Connection to "XYZCP" established successfully." it is good to use.
    Run the BPEL process again and once you find the error, come back and test the connection.
    If it comes back with Error, diagnose based on the error message received.
    Cheers

  • Http connection timeout for business services from proxy service?

    I've only done limited experiments in ALSB (2.1) at this point, but a question occurred to me, and I can't find this mentioned in the docs anywhere.
    When a proxy service configures a connection to a downstream business service through HTTP, is it possible to configure an http connection timeout value? This will cause the connection attempt to fail if it takes too long to determine whether the connection attempt succeeded or failed.
    I've heard that this is one advantage that Axis has over JAXRPC/SAAJ, as a connection timeout value can be specified.

    Hello Billy
    Thanks for the reply. I thought there may be some implementation of begin_request in another environment that had the option to specify a connect timeout. But as you have explained, it doesn't work like that. As always, I learn something every day!
    So realistically if I want to stop the calling process hanging in the event of the server not being available, I need use the message based approach...send a message containing the request to another process via a message queue and attach to the reply queue and wait for a message comming back with a timeout. Does that sound like a reasonable approach?
    Thanks
    David

    I created service using java and deployed it on the SOA server 11g.

    Does anyone has any idea, what can be the reason.
    Is it realted to some proxy server settings. Where these settings can be made in the weblogic server.
    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi Suresh & Mukesh,
    Suresh:
    I started the service by going through the following path System Administrator > System Configuration > Service Configuration > Application > <SERVICE_NAME> in system configuration of portal
    Mukesh: Here I don't have any proxy settings.
    Can you please let me know where I'm going wrong.
    Thanx,
