Error while joining 2 facts

Hi ,
i am getting error while joining 2 facts
relation is sales-------time---------sales1 in physical layer and then drag sale1 in sales and given time-----------sales
[nQSError: 46030] Field descriptor id 0 is beyond the maximum field count 0. (HY000)

I am referring to sh schema in which
customer,times are joined with sales table
sales1(new table created from sales and imported)
for an example sales1 is only joined with times table and there is no join between any other table
so the requirement is that
customer city year month sales sales1 required in the report how will get these 2 facts in the report when there is no joined
when it is tested from sales with sales1 it shows black data in the same report
is there any solution where it can map with time dimension with other dimensions as well

Also something to look in, i do not have the usual folders below 'Forward lookup zone', i.e, Sites, Home, tcp etc..
I beleive these are required. I am not sure.!!. I did re-install the role, no change :-(

Coherence.jar in EAR - ejbmodule error while joining cluster senior member

Hi
We are trying to package coherence in EAR to connect to JMS queue. The ejb MDB module when a message is received process the data and tries to connect to coherence cluster members - Looking at the following log - right coherence config file/override/pof are picked however while this new member join DistributedService - it fails.
The senior member has 13001 partition, backup count 1. Both MDB module , coherence cluster use the same cache-config file.
Can someone help me in this regard.

Error while adding two facts in One SA

Hello Experts,
I am new in OBIEE 11g. But with the concept of OBIEE 10g, I tried to work on 11g as well.
Requirement: One subject area with two dimensions and two facts.
In the warehouse we have 2 fact and 2 dimensions.
Dim – Programme.
Dim – Student.
Fact - UG Acad Student.
Fact - Award Student
Join Condition: Dim Programme and Dim student is connected to Fact - UG Acad Student. With proper key.
Fact - Award Student and Dim – Student is also connected to each other, but this fact is not joined with Programme dim.
What I am doing is:
•     Imported four tables in Physical layer made physical join based on above relationship.
•     Dragged both dim in BMM layer and created level based hierarchy. Created one fact table with two LTS(Physical fact table).
•     Made a complex join with logical fact and tow dim.
•     Set the content tab in fact table. In Award fact I set for student detail and in Fact - UG Acad Student I set for Programme dim and Student dim both.
•     Dragged all to Presentation layer an d trying to run Analysis selecting one column from all four tables.
It is giving bellow error:
It is creating logical query but not physical. I have disabled all cache.

Hi Venu,
Try this and let us know the output.
1. Make sure you have a level-based dimension for each of your logical table dimensions (both conforming and non-conforming).
2. For the fact table measures, set the levels as you did in 10g with the non-conforming dimensions at the Grand Total logical level for each measure.
3. For the fact table LTSs, set the logical level in the Content tab to the dimension's lowest level for each conforming dimension (leave the non-conforming dimensions level blank)

Error while joining server to Srv Pool. Visible only on 1 server out of 9

I am hiaving issues with joining a server to the server pool
I have checked the 02cb ond ocfs2 config and they seem to be fine and in line with the other VM servers which are already added to the pool...
I have checked the DMESG and ovs-operation log and found the below errors.

Internal error while joining a pc to domain

hi, when i want to join the pc to the domain it says "an internal error occured" and the join process fail.
i can ping the domain using fqdn and dns is working ok and the client is pointing to the appropriate dns server. also i have no anti virus installed and firewall is off. here is the netsetup.log file here.
Note: when i prestage the computer the join process is ok with no problem
can anyone help me?

repadmin /showreps shows successfull. i can attach the log or any other thing u want. time is sync between clients and domain controllers. we have 4 domain controllers and there are 2500 users in it. the problem suddenly appears since we found out
we can not join the clients to the domain at all. only the clients can be joined to the domain if the computer account is pre-created before in the domain..

Windows 8.1 Pro has error while joining domain, while windows 7 pro has no problem to join in the same network

There are a few other people have the same issues. However there was no real solution provided although the post was marked as answered. I am posting it here again and hopefully I can get some help to solve this issue.
We got two new PCs, one with windows 7 and the other with windows 8.1 Pro. In the same network with domain, the windows 7 pc has no problem at all to join the domain. However the windows 8.1 Pro won't join the domain. On the windows 8.1 Pro computer,
I can ping the other computers in the network. The error message says:
An Active Directory Domain Controller (AD DC) for the domain "cmi" could not be contacted. ...
In my case, the domain name is "CMI". I am sure the DNS setting is correct. What did I do wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netlogon\Parameters folder, there is no
NeutralizeNT4Emulator. So I followed the instructions and created one, and set the value to 1. Then I restarted the computer and tried to join the domain again. I got the same error. Below is more from the netsetup log file:

Error While Joining a domain.| Adding a virtual box machine to host machine's domain

Dear All,
I have a Virtual Box(guest) Where Windows Server 2008 r2 is installed.Virtual box is hosted by a machine which Uses Windows Server 2008 r2. Host machine is a domain controller.I have added guest to another domain
other than host.But whenever I tried to add guest machine to host domain It shows me following error(See below).
An error occurred when DNS was queried for the service location (SRV) resource record used to locate an Active Directory Domain Controller (AD DC) for domain "crmrc.com".
The error was: "No records found for given DNS query."
(error code 0x0000251D DNS_INFO_NO_RECORDS)
The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.crmrc.com
Could you please suggest me the solution for it?

I suppose here that this is a DC/DNS server. I see that 59.144.127.17 is

Please delete the second DNS server.
Also, disable all security softwares and try again.
Are you able to ping the DC? If not, that may be a problem with your routes.
Also, use nslookup to check that all is okay with DNS records.

Error while joining two table in one VO

hello friends,
my requirement is:
i have a search page in which there are 3 fields for search operations,2 of them are present there in the custom table having no primary key and the third one i am using is the Oracle table.Oracle table also contains one colmn which is among one of the two fields of the custom table.Now in the search page i have to search in such a way that either of the three fields could be entered and depending on that result should be shown in the result table below the search fields.Third field is unique for the one of the field of the other 2 fields in the page in the ORacle table.
What i am doing is:
I have to use only one VO which should have both EO's .In the query it is showing where clause using only WHO colmns like LAST_UPDATE_DATE_table1=LAST_UPDATE_DATE_table2 same for other WHO colmn but the thing is due to this query it is not fetching the rsults.
I tried removing the where clause but it says "can't select rowid from a join view w/o a takey preserved table" ...As i dnt have any primary key for the custom table so automatically at VO creation step it assigns RowID as primary key.
Help me guys ..its really urgent and i am stuck here from the past couple of dayz.

Error VLD-0917 (unknown error) while deploying FACT table

Hi,
I keep getting this error while trying to deploy a FACT table:
VLD-0917: An unknown error occured while generating <fact table name>.
An unknown error occurred while generating <fact table name>. Error details: java.lang.NullPointerException.
Do yo know what can it be? This fact table was linked to a Dimension that I modified (added one more level to its hierarchy). Since I did this change, the fact table cannot be validated.
This happens to all fact tables that use this dimension. I created a new cube with the new definition of the dimension and had no trouble at all. I disassociate the dimension from existing cubes and they validate OK. What could be happening?
I would appreciate any help you could provide.

Hi,
I realized that I'm getting this error for all fact tables. I cannot deploy any of them. What could be happening? I have a dimension that is linked to all facts which I changed recently: had to redefine its default hierarchy as a value-based one. I don't know if this affected my cubes.
Any idea what might be happening here?

I am getting these 2 errors while making a join between ODS In InfoSet
1).Incomplete ON conditions in an outer join
2).Invalid ON condition for left outer join (ZSDO015)
Please help what to do?

Check both ODS's are having a common Infoobjects are not i.e. same name and datatype and length.

Error when we take the Desc column in the report when we join two facts

Hi All,
We are facing a issue when we join 2 facts via common dimension.
1) When we take the measures like revenue cost etc from both the facts after they getting aggregated on RPD as sum the report runs fine..
But once we add a desc column like Name, address from any of the facts which cant be aggregated it gives a error.
Can any one please share their knoledge over this & the fix..

I am very near to solve this issue. I tried doing the same.. but seems i am missing something please help me figure it out. I appreciate all your help...
-FACT1 Columns:
1) Amount
2) Transaction scr desc
-FACT2 Columns:
1) Accounted DR
2) Transaction scr desc
Note: 1) These Facts are joining over dimensions currency, period etc, whose IDs i havent mentioned in the list above. also i have created reqd dimension & set proper content level too.
2) The measure Amount & Accounted DR from both facts are aggregated as SUM.
Now when i take a report having F1.Amount, F2.Accounted DR, F1.Transaction scr desc, F2.Transaction scr desc
the query fails as I have a non aggregated columns like Transaction scr dec from both the facts.
I tried the above approach mention by you ppl, and made a 2 new logical table, one having scr from one fact from physical & the onther from other fact from physical & made these 2 new tables are dimensions to the earlier also respectively i have created the dimesnions for both 7 set the content level to detail.
I made a new report:
F1.Amount, F2.Accounted DR, F1_NEW.Transaction scr desc, F2_NEW.Transaction scr desc
Unfortunately i m facing this error: [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 14026] Unable to navigate requested expression: tmpt.TRANSACTION_SOURCE. Please fix the metadata consistency warnings.

Internal Assertion Error while using outer join

Has anyone experienced this error before: State: HY000. Code: 397397248. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 46036] Internal Assertion: Condition !pConjunct->IsAndCond(), file server/Query/Optimizer/Request/Src/SQORToCNF.cpp, line 46. (HY000)
It happened after I changed the join in logical layer from inner join into left outer join from Fact Tab1 to Fact Tab2, This needs to be changed for cases:
Fact Tab1 contains:
Period|Currency|FX Rate
Mar-09|USD|1
Apr-09|USD|1.1
Fact Tab2 contains:
Period|Currency|Product|Profit
Mar-09|USD|Metal Abs|1000
Mar-09|USD|Grey Wood|2000
Expected Result:
Period|Currency|Product|Profit|FX Rate
Mar-09|USD|Metal Abs|1000|1
Mar-09|USD|Grey Wood|2000|1
Apr-09|USD|(NULL)|(NULL)|1.1
But, it shows the error as above (have changed the SERVER_THREAD_STACK_SIZE to 512 KB too but no luck, any idea?

Recently I've seen OBIEE generate some bad queries on an Oracle Database. I had setup a few time series measures and when I added more than three into a report, I got a table not found error. It turned out that it was a combination of the query getting very complex and the way it was using ANSI SQL Left Outer Join operator. I'm wondering if your situation is similar.
Can you try the following?
1. Log into the RPD and for your user, set the logging level to 7 (Manage->Security then find your user).
2. Clear all the caches (BI Server=Manage->Cache delete them all, Presentation Server=Settings->Manage Sessions then close all cursors)
3. Run the report for a date range that works fine
4. Run the report for a date range that causes the error.
5. Look at the physical SQL generated in the log files (Settings->Manage Sessions)
Compare the two queries and see if anything stands out. In fact try to execute both in SQL Developer or Toad and see if you get any errors. If you can, post the physical SQL and I might be able to notice something.
Just to confirm, you're using OCI to connect to an Oracle source right?
In my situation, I fixed it by disabling the LEFT OUTER JOIN syntax on the database. We might be able to get you to do something similar to fix your problem.
